Here, suck on this.
What were you saying? -

See above comments about property damage being unheroic.
[/ QUOTE ]
Indeed. Superman is always very careful to avoid such things.
Oh wait...
[/ QUOTE ]
Bad choice, as it has been more than proven that superman is, indeed, a dick. -
I downloaded the latest NVidia drivers a month ago and had to perform a rollback as the game became unplayable for me. This under XP. Haven't tried since then.

In real life i go around groping people at every given chance.If you see me close run for cover in game

This just goes to prove my point. Surprisingly. -
Humm... you did notice you're a Hero? Why the heck would you destroy stuff in a SAFEGUARD mission? Defuse, disable, dismantle I can see. And there are already side missions where you do that.
-
Yup. A lot more than on smelly Onion. Politer too.
See what I did there?
@ His Rotund Wadlliness: some people just like to get really, really close to you. So that they can touch you. Sometimes inappropriately too. Or just to see you wobble like so much jello. You should see this as a good thing. I guess. -
Let's see... how can I put this:
NO. -
I haven't found one that has been as bad as people paint them to be, to be honest... nothing but polite in their requests to me.
-
Not really, you pretty much exhausted Dante's movement pool tricks right there... (you forgot the Kick Jump and the Side Roll but those aren't that good anyway).
-
Yes, hence the "could be" part...
-
No thanks. I like my Mind/Emp as he is now and I like my containment as it currently works. Bear in mind that is a "like"... I still would prefer to have him back to his pre containment days. But seeing as that isn't going to happen, leave well enough alone. If I want more damage I play on my Scrapper or me Blaster.

Equanimity is the opposite of Empathy, instead of sharing the emotional pain of others, it is deflected back at them.
Usury means "Interest" in Latin, which doesn't seem to fit what the basic theme of this set idea is.
[/ QUOTE ]
The opposite of Empathy could be Apathy. Equanimity isn't the opposite of Empathy, for Equanimity is the quality of being calm and even-tempered or of possessing composure (from the Latin aequus, even, and animus, mind). Empathy is the capacity for Identification with and understanding of another's situation, feelings, and motives (from the Greek, empátheia, which itself derives from pathos, emotions or feelings.)
Antonyms for Empathy include: apathy, misunderstanding, unfeelingness and Equanimity doesn't figure among them.
Antonyms for Equanimity include: agitation, alarm, anxiety, discomposure, excitableness, upset, worry but Empathy doesn't figure among them.
Seems to me that Usury would be better suited, as you are taking from others and with interest (in a way, you change what you get into something that is more profitable for you.) In the end, it's your idea for a power set, so you can name it as you like. Just don't say that Equanimity is the opposite of Empathy.
PS - and Usury doesn't mean interest in Latin, it derives from usus which meant "a use". -
Very interesting, but considering it takes from others to apply to allies I'd change the name from Equanimity (which still sounds hero-ish) to Usury. I feel this one is more villainous.

Ha, quick on the uptake that one is!
I thought you realised that months ago! *wiggle wiggle*

That was more affirmation than realisation K... and were you giving the camera the eye just then? -
Can of worms and opener, CoX table please.
Darn Stasis, you have such and interesting social life! He was part of the Watership Down cast too! I love his accent. -
QoL eh...
- more space for writing your character's description;
- faster change between characters;
- ability to transfer inf(luence/amy)/recipes/salvage/enhancements/whatnot between characters within the same account;
- carrots?
(ok, I won't insist on the last one...) -
IP? It's to the west of Steel Canyon, Kings Row and Brickstown. You'll know you're there when you smell the octopus on the air.
Interesting suggestion, though, as Archy said, the sudden loss of HP pretty much does the same thing. -

El-ahrairah. Or, more truthfully: Frith.
Did I mention I met John Hurt?
[/ QUOTE ]
What Stasis said (although I'm an Agnostic).
OMG, you met John Hurt?! -
Heck, NO! Pretty soon it turns into City of Look-a-likes (or worse, that other game) for the best bonuses. OK, yes to recipe generated costume parts, no to ANY power associated with said pieces.

Carrot juice, in my case. With a hint of orange.
