Quote:Great place for a couple of extra wakies or break freeAlso, once you send it correctly you will have INSTANT confirmation of that. The email will immediately show up in the mailbox of the character who just sent it, since it is claimable by ANY character on the account.
Yes, you can email from one character and claim it on the same one. This is frequently done when people want to have an extra supply of inspirations on hand before attempting a difficult task. -
I have ran both.
Only Minor spoilers.
Kal - I thought was 4 out 5 stars.
1. Good Story, nothing makes you feel like Villain or Rogues like holding a Wizards daughters Hostage and forcing him to help you.
2. Good mix of Good/Bad Guys as in Groups. CoT, Midnighters, Warriors.
3. Some new and old faces, some old getting to see some action.
The only real bad part, was the use of a Bot MM's Pets as an enemy group in last mission.
Admiral Sutter 1 out 5 stars
Long drawn out missions.
1. Seemed like they took Tin Mage TF can crossed it with Apex and made it lower level.
2. On the first mission they name 2 ships, I did not see any markings on the ships to indicted which was which.
3. Warworks and IDF everywhere with a few Skyraiders spread out.
4. Good thing... the Preatorian versions of Faultline and Fussionette and their cutscene. FYI Gender swapped. -
I was tried /Command /Commands and a few others. I could not remember that one either....
Thanks -
Ancient Spirits of Evil....
of course it's Mumra -
Quote:I actually think they did a great job with Mortimer Kal. I great mix of good story, various good/bad guys, and decent challenge level. Not too difficult or too easy.I haven't done Sutter so I can't speak for it, but Mortimer Kal isn't a good SF. It contains too much exposition in a format that isn't team-friendly. A well-designed TF must show, not tell, and Mortimer's SF tells too much. Although some of the fights were fun.
Admiral Sutter on the other hand, I thought it was too much like Apex and Tin Mage toned down for lower levels. Decent story bad implementation. -
Did I miss the memo?
The Patch notes don't include any of the command line commands and neither does (h) help.
I can invite them to my team and move them to another team through the command line the old /i way. -
Never underestimate MMs here, other ATs have access to the sets too.
Trick Arrow has the Oil Slick and Glue arrow these work on the minions. While the pets pound them. (Controllers and Doms Pets too)
Dark has Tar Patch, slows and debuffs while pets attack
Traps has Caltrops, Poison trap for minions, Trip Mines and Acid Mortars for minions, lts, and bosses. (Defenders and Corruptors also) Device Blasters have Caltrops and Trip Mines also. Plus they can get early hits and AoE attacks in to damage all of them.
I think Storm has a Sleet like power(Knockdown and minor DoT), Cold Dominations Corr/Def/Controllers)
Soft Control powers at the spawn point keep the minions there so they can be handled by those with less damage.
The Bosses and Lts, should be up to all the damage types. I know melee gets the short end of the stick here, but if they can get them as they come out the higher damage longer animation attacks first are best. then proceeds with the faster animation attacks for constant damage. Blaster and Corr are good here too, as Range is better for moving targets. -
1. Envenomed Daggers, Buy them on the BM craft some. They come in handy. (they have -regen)
2. Have a debuffer, The Dark and Kin heals both have a -regen component, Rads have a -regen power, Traps have the best one Poison Trap has a -1000% regen. I am sure there are others, but there is a start. -

But back on topic...
I play a merc/dark MM as my Badger. I never have a problem with the Artillery. I may have died quite a bit, but it was mainly because of all the bosses and thier mezzes.
I have not taken my Bots/Traps on any of the trials yet. But I know the BAF is more MM friendly. Especially traps at the spawn points. Commandos and LT, can be hurt by the Acid Mortars and Trip Mines, Clatrops and Posion to slow the minions.
So I have to disagree with the Artillery removal. -
let's see... the 2 big issues probably being addressed are the Global & Email and The Trials kick eveyone on out and breaking the League Bugs.
-
I don't miss the days when Maintenance was almost every weekday.
-
I kind of like new trials, it is a change of pace. It adds a little spice to the game. But I do agree I hope they don't over do it. Because then it becomes a norm, and that could be bad.
Lambda I think is best option, 1 full team min. but a max of 2. Good for that odd time when there are a couple more people than a full team that want in. -
Tip:
After figuring out the path you want to go, use note pad to list what you need for the next tier(s) (what rares and very rares you need for the future incase you get those options for trila completion)
I made this as I was getting close to unlocking my Interface(at the time I did noit think about the rare, until I got the option last night)...
Quote:I did change my Judgement to Ion. Personal choice for a little more control.Judgement
[Pyronic Judgement]: 2x Supercharged Capacitor + Arcane Cantrip
Interface
[Reactive Interface]: Supercharged Capacitor + Meditation Techniques + Arcane Cantrip
Lore
[IDF Ally]: Arcane Cantrip + Biomorphic Goo + Genomic Analysis
Destiny
[Barrier Invocation]: Nanotech Growth Medium + Arcane Cantrip + Genomic Analysis -

1. Many people have mentioned the "Trial Crash" ie everyone booted from the League and kicked out of the trial. Apparently this was not an issue on the Beta server and is something new. I have only experienced it once.
2. The TF/SF. I liked Mortimer Kal SF but did not care for Admiral Sutters TF. The Hero stuff appears to be a clone of Apex/Tin Mage for lower levels. But the story for both were pretty good. I really did not see anything wrong with either, except for the fact it may be a little to difficult for a PUG team of lvl 20's.
3. There the door, don't let it hit you on the way out. -

Here's a coulple of things from the patch notes about Astraland Empyrain Merits that some may have missed.
Quote:Four achievement badges for unique challenges within each event. The first successful completion of a badge will award a random Uncommon component and an Astral Merit. Each successive completion will award an Astral Merit. Quote:One mastery badge for acquiring the completion badge and all four achievement badges. The first successful mastery completion will award a random Rare component. -

All this talk about death, dying and failing...
Haven't done any of the new incarnate content (heck, I only unlocked the incarnate slot on 1 character so far...I'm just enjoying my alts when I can) but wondering just how awesome Rise of the Phoenix, Soul Transfer and Fallout must be in these situations -
-
If everything had astral merits, they would be worthless. If they were tied to a badge, and you could only get it once, then that's different.

Quote:I agree, iXP comes quicker on Lambda because there are more mobs before the trial even begins.I've found that it's easier to get iXP from Lambda, but easier to get threads and merits from BAF. Did 5 runs of BAF yesterday, some successful, some not, and finally unlocked Judgement. Did 2 runs of Lambda today, neither successful, but managed to unlock Interface anyways. I'll probably keep running that until I have Destiny unlocked, then switch over to BAF for drops.
On the note of the Weapons and Acid, I have been on 3 teams that have got all 10 on both. It's not that hard. Tank herds mobs away. Squishies destroy nad move on. Snipe attacks work great on these. Even a good number if Stalker, Scrappers, Widows, and Banes could do well. -
I'd like to say I have seen more successful runs on these 2 trials than I did in the first week of CoP. I have had 2 successful runs on both trials.
Also I'd like to say I loved the new SF. Not sure a team of 20's could handle it, but it was awesome. The Warriors finally get used in an SF. No other spoilers.
The new TF, I thought it was kind of blah... It reminded me too much of Tin Mage and Apex but for lower levels.
Now to check to see if HeroStats has an update so I can update my badges. -
Happened on one of our runs this morning. I'd rather not talk about our first 2 attempts.... lets just say eveyone was under 10% Judgement at that point. THe 3rd run it borked, and the 4the run We won...
-
The Synchronized badge gives one. We pulled it off and wasn't even trying.

Seriously, that dude hits like a train. Had an absolute blast failing my first Lambda Sector run (seriously, I had fun). Looks like the slots are gonna be a tad slow to unlock, but then again I've only done it once and I'm at 15% Interface.
Thanks for the content, Devs!
First person to reply to this post with a snarky, sarcastic wad of garbage gets to see Marauder's fist up close.
and if you want to know, I used 1 thread and inf for incarnate xp it says I got 50k roughly 4%. Im at 40 now, but I would not recommend doing it that way seems a waste of a thread and inf.
