The best mobs for this are Council Warwolfs. I absentmindedly anchored snow storm to one the other night and ended up very dead, very fast as it ran half way round the map aggroing everything in sight.

Been here since August 05 but not sure if we ever met (Sensei Zen rings a bell though). Welcome back anyhow.

Pretty much my opinion too. The things that I really miss in other MMOs is the ability to really look unique, collision detection, knock back and the sidekick system.

I found lotro to be the best of a poor selection of other MMOs i've tried, but that's probably due to being a huge Tolkien fan when I was a child, the game itself was pretty poor but from a sightseeing point of view its spectacular.

I might be another drop out. Not sure if i'm going to make it tonight and even if I do i'll be late. Have fun if i'm not there.

My memory might be a bit hazey but when BAB posted over here I seem to remember that he didn't have a proper Redname and a lot of people thought that he was a hoaxer. Is this right or did something else happen to warrant this situation?

I've just re-read the article published at the same time and that says opt-out. Looks like it was confused at the time as to which it would be. Never mind, nothing to see here

Edit - the cynic in me says that somebody decided that they wouldn't be able to bank on high enough 'viewing' figures by launching it as opt-in. It is a lot more hassle to convince the average player to opt in after all, most players wouldn't even be aware it was coming and may not even notice the new option at all.

So much for actually having to opt in to the ads. I haven't opted in and was greated by Vin Deisel's mug everywhere. Oversight or banking on the fact that more people wouldnt' be bothered turning them off than turning them on?

I've only just noticed that they are giving away free PPD Hard Suit cossie codes to players that attend the Leipzig Convention!

I wonder if there will be a chance to get our hands on these cossie parts a bit further down the line, another variant on the wedding pack perhaps?

So much for keeping it true to in-game art style. That's the only photo realistic billboard i've ever seen.

Have we already missed the Freaklympics? I've only ever done that arc once and found it a lot of fun.

Long over due though. The last time we saw a new MM primary was Thugs back with Issue 7.

- Abilty to set Hide status from the log in screen

- Fix Co-op zones so that you can search for members of the opposite faction, pass inspirations and leave the zone without being kicked.

- Customisable running stances (can be similar to fly poses).

- Fix mission doors. Will really help with immersion if when you click on a cave you end up in a cave etc.

- Remove the enhancement 'lock-in' - this feature should really been removed when Inventions went live.

- Addional info on the character select screen such as date created and hours played etc

One more thing worth mentioning is that Accuracy and Tohit are two seperate stats in this game. You can have really high accuracy and face an enemy that debuffs your Tohit (like CoT) and you'll seem to be missing almost every attack.

Powers like Aim, Tactics, Rage and Focussed Accuracy will boost your Tohit. If you can boost your Tohit and slot for Accuracy in your attacks you will miss a lot less (I think that there is something like 5% chance to miss no matter what your slotting or powers).
