Well, the redside population for leveling can be slim without friends sometimes, but you can usually get a PuG of at least 5 people during our busy hours. Blueside can almost always find teams. The RP happens, but its rarer with the onst of MA, like the otehrs have stated. Find some people on the server you like, Global them, and use that to get teams formed whenever you can. Gettig into the RP scene helps someimes too, if you amke good RP friends, you can usually depend ont hem being friendly.

Well, because your party consists of 3 people (like in the KOTOR Games) it makes sense to have at least one of them be a Jedi. I know for a fact that none of your characters need to be a jedi, it's a choice you get to make. You could even make the choce to have 3 jedi, I think. So, the option to roll a Jedi is your choice. Star Wars Galaxies was a much different animal, and, although it had its good points, Bioware will find a way to top it.

Also, Bioware hs announced that they are going to have voice acting for EVERY SINGLE NPC. I thought it was crazy to do hat in KOTOR, but in an MMO? That's just amazing. It takes real balls to announce that. They have the money to get voice acting fr an MMO that they KNOW will make enought money to support it. That taks some real cahones.

Also, in Star Wars Galaxies, after the patch that many players said "ruined the game", you could either be chosen as a jedi, or you could train alot and eventually become one. The second part of that was the added feature, and then all the new players tried to become jedi and killed the community, at least, that's what I'm told.

EDIT: Bounty Hunters: I really hope they are NOT AoE-centric. Bounty Hunters hunt SINGLE high-priority targets for Profit, right? Not cone or template shaped groups of targets?

That Twi'lek is no leech, she's a part of the main sith's (in the video) party. So, in gameplay terms, the bounty hunter, twi'lek and that sith are all one player. From a gameplay standpoint, the Twi'lek appears to be Smuggler class, meaning she probably has alot more 'out of combat' skills that she uses like computer and security-based stuff.

Almost any origin can explain almost any powerset combo. The fact that people choose magic alot is exactly why you think, because they lack the ability to explain "Why", they'd rather the reason be "Just Because".

Also, to whoever said mutant origin cant descriibe dark melee etc, The Skuls are considered mutants.

I dont think one exists. The bigger question is: Why were you looking for one?

With respect to Boost Range, the advantages you do not appear to notice are:
1) It is essentially perma with normal slotting (don't even need hasten)
2) It gives Power Burst a very respectable range.
3) The foes you knock back are usually still within range of most powers.
4) Torrent, combined with the Electric Ancillary pool's Cone AoE, extra range means bigger AoE. Take the (otherwise worthless) Explosive blast, and you can 1, 2, 3 punch as effectively (or more so) than other AoE-specialized blasters.

In summary, you can just stand/hover in one spot, raining death from above, no need to run around chasing things. The time you save from not chasing things down keeps up your Defiance bonuses, and increases your DPS significantly.

@Boost Range: I find range to be a useless thing all together, especially with how often I use melee attacks. For almost any other primary I would suggest this, but it's just unrealistic for an Energy/Energy.

We NEED some redname confirmation on this. This really is one of the most irritating bugs I've ever seen, and I want to know if it's a bug or if it's meant to be like this. I'd at least like someone to say they know about the bug and that they're working on a solution. I'm more concerned about upcoming action and that it's being worked on more than I want the bug to be fixed.

By OOC shenanigans, do you mean that there be no OOC moments? I'll admit there are some bad OOC moments that happen here and there, but having some silly OOC moments here and there are good! Having stuff like that happen helps the SG band together a bit more by making everyone feel more comfortable RPing with you. It's a combination OOC and IC thing no matter what, and finding the right balance in a group is what you should aim for (even ina story-driven SG or static team, no matter how serious the group is).
