  1. Ya know, this really sucks. I moved to Georgia with the wife and am living on campus since her job requires it. But the campus network has such a paranoid IT department running it that they only allow outgoing information through most ports and no incoming. This f***s me over because I now cannot connect to CoV. I have to log in through Cisco Clean Access Agent to get online at all and when I do, I'm at their will. I haven't played I15, the new super booster, am likely going to miss the Rikti Invasions and Double XP weekend, and now have to know I'll probably miss the launch of I16.

It would be different if I left the game because I was upset or unpleased but the devs have been doing a better job than ever. I have not been a huge fan of theirs in the past but when they started giving us things we've been asking for in droves I can't help but respect them and their hard work for the community. All to have my access to the game blocked as all this is happening.

    Man, I wish I were a hacker.
  2. An MM with kinetics... talk about overkill
  3. Co-sign, looks like he'll tear some [censored] up
  4. Lmao Boricua, been waiting to roll an Earth Control dom because I didn't want to roll it without the accompanying Earth Assault set. Thanks you devs, you have freed me!! Now to just wait out Electric Control...
  5. YEEEESSSSS, I've been waiting to roll an Earth control dom because I was waiting for an Earth Assault set, and here go the devs making my dream come true. Just when I was ready to throw I16 under the bus they go and do something like this!! DAMN IT I need to find a way to get back on this game!!
  6. Maybe they were using another power that gives them confuse protection?? Some kind of leadership? Just a guess
  7. So apparently the issue is that the network on the new campus I moved to allows outgoing info through the ports CoV uses but not incoming info... Not sure what I'm going to do about this. I may have to actually leave the game which makes me quite sad.
  8. I didn't realize there was no customer service on the weekends
  9. I updated my drivers, thank you much

Trying to figure out how to open ports and crossing my finger hoping that's the problem
  10. Well the ResNet guides kept trying to tell me earlier that it was probably a firewall problem but I thought if that were the case then a newly installed game would have the same issue, that's why I posted that because I thought someone else might have the same inclination. Just trying to help someone help me

  11. I'm glad it is now working for you all. I am still having this problem I can connect to other online games but not CoV and the updater works just fine. I keep getting the cannot connect to login server error though!!
  12. LMAO @ Nintendo Shii skit. Thank you so much for that Slim, hilarious!
  13. Dr. Mario was the [censored] on gameboy so I might pick that one up too Tried Mario Galaxy and I didn't like it but picked up Super Smash Brothers Brawl today and that's pretty sweet Going for Punch Out soon too
  14. Lol, everyone says that but what other kind of crying is there? Any crying worth being done should be done so very very loudly so that all can hear and gain joy from your tears
  15. I was indeed And yes Wii Sports is the ish.
  16. Hmmm, Smash Brothers might be a taker. Thanks all, any other suggestions anyone?
  17. Just got a Wii and looking for game suggestions... No war games please, the wife is sensitive, lol. Only game I've purchased and kept so far is Mario Party 8
  18. I definitely feel like the changes are a big advantage for any lover of dominators as permadom is no longer vital to having a great dom build. I am still focusing all my dom builds toward permadom however. You still get a full endurance bar, mez protection, and your mez duration and magnitude (I think?) are boosted while in domination. I still think it's worth it without being necessary anymore.
  19. https://boards.cityofheroes.com/show...0#Post13548375

Its the last bullet under the section labeled Invention. I think it's coming with I15. I feel your pain, I have an ice/ice dom and can't wait for this fix.
  20. I like the Persuasive Confusion set in Arctic Air contagious confusion is awesome but I may consider procs with the new changes.

Sorry, just read the part about not referring to sets, lol. Nvm

Co-sign that! These knew easy badges will certainly give me a lot more time to spend playing other games I suppose. Maybe that's the dev's goal??

    [/ QUOTE ]

Yeah, thats it. You hit the nail on the head there. They want to drive everyone from the game...with badges......

    [/ QUOTE ]

    I figured... those conniving bastages.
  22. Co-sign that! These knew easy badges will certainly give me a lot more time to spend playing other games I suppose. Maybe that's the dev's goal??

    Gravity Question

I'm rolling a Grav/Energy set just so I can knock around an [censored] load of mobs repeatedly Yeah I know the damage isn't great but I just want to do it for fun :-D And all the KB and Stun just seem to go together with the sets as far as mag stacking goes
  24. THANK YOU, GOOD LORD THANK YOU FOR FIXING THE PROC IN THIS SET!!!

I was so so tired of confusing Jack Frost with Arctic Air!
