Red-side there's Number 204 in GV (Before the change to Venomous this was a pain to get and the arc is crap at the end) and Henri Dumont in Sharks.
Also, don't forget all the lvl 40+ Stores blueside- you need to run missions to unlock them, including Ghost Falcon in PI -

That was a great episode... on top of the CoH reference.. just the scene of Sheldon using the "whipped" app on Wolowicz was hilarious...
I also found the ep very.. timely.. with double XP weekend coming, a lot of us are planning weekend like that -
Wouldn't it be Brilliance... on a flying foot?
I agree though... I have the T4 Core on my Tank and ... I LOVE IT! Oh look.. a Mob..... HEEEYAAAAAAAAAAA! THWACK! Move on.. nothing to see.... -
I have a 50 Grav/EM/Primal That I'm resisting recreating again as a Grav/Dark.....
I might reroll my mid-20s Plant Thorn as Plant/Dark and just color Dark greenish..
What about Mind/Dark? hmmmmm -
The night before I22 I finally got a T3 Radial Degenerative on my DB Scrapper.. I can tell you that 75% chance of Toxic DoT fired... A LOT! I noticed a big boost in my damage.. no.. not Reactive numbers but quite good!

The biggest issue now I see is that the behavior of establishing the league THEN queuing has already been set. Add to that that for the trials (even LAM, MoM and now DD that can be run with 8) you can lock the team before queuing and the benefit of being in the Queue in a mission is not really all that good. Sadly just the way it is....
What they need is a 6-8 man Trial that is NOT +3 for the small teams fans. -
Count me in tonight Ion.. just gotta decide who to bring first.....
-
I have a bunch of lowbies, so I'll be running some Synapses and Moonfires etc.. I also have 2 Praetorians (both around 13-15) so if anyone wants a Gold Team hit me up.
-
I think they will.. but not any time soon sadly.. we'll have to make due with Soul Mastery...
-
While it would be great to run a WST for quadruple XP (assuming hopefully that the double XP boosters are out)- a TM2 is still good for a lot of monies...
I still plan to run quite a few Synapes that weekend... -
Enjoy your long birthday weekend Dink!!! Happy Birthday!

Quote:The BIG 2 are Cheetah and Circe... they might avoid Circe as she would inevitablly draw unfavorable Thor-clone comparisons..With Wonder Woman....help out my memory here: WHO are her big enemies? WHO is the enemy that would qualify as her arch nemesis? (Besides writers/editors).
Other big villains would be Veronica Kale and recently.. the new Silver Swan. (Kale is too close to a Luthor clone to use so my bet would be on Cheetah) -

I recently started a Beam/dark and am just wondering how well this will do in he long run? I normally play melee, But I admit, I'm loving this guy up to now (level 22).. am I going to be disappointed later on? Thanks for any advice...

Are the year vet badges even showing up in the collect tab? I'm looking at my accounts and I see the Rewards badges but NOT the 1-6 year badges...
-
There was a Villianess on the old Mask Cartoon called that....
-
-
ARGH!!! and I can't buy tix till next week.. there BETTER be some left!
and FPARN... -
Take a look at Dark/Fire-
Survivability out the yingyang and a decent meatgringer if you avoid clunkers like Shadow maul. Seriously, you get 2 self-heals, 2 End Recovery powers, a great self-buff and as others have said, Fiery Aura is crazy good on a Brute.
You won't be throwing out HUGE damage numbers like SS or TW.... but you will be CONSTANTLY tossing out damage. -
Quote:The problem here is communication.
These users aren't seeing anything prior to selecting which characters to unlock to tell them that certain elements of their character are unavailable.
When you first use a "character unlock token" you could receive a pop-up that:
- checks whether you earned the IO sub via tier 7.
- checks whether the character has any items that are not accessible by default (Incarnate powers, IO's, etc)
- notifies you of that fact, and the options available.
The game is complex. F2P tiers make it even moreso. Returning players are sometime "jumping in the deep end" already. Helping people make informed decisions can make them feel more comfortable with occasionally opening their wallets to you.
I'm fine with the IO's being somewhat paywall-gated. I just wish the information was less easily missed.
That is an excellent point Chase.. I didn't even think that.. and put that way.. yes there needs to be more communication. -
Quote:Actually No.. that's not quite the point. That is the point in a purely F2P model, which this game is NOT. It is a hybrid. The point here is that many micro-transactions will add up and generate revenue while at the same time you want to add incentives for Premiums to go full VIP. From the tone of the OP's post.. the ONLY reason he came back was he thought the game was purely F2P, once he found he wasn't, I'm guessing no amount would entice him to buy a IO license, even if it was a penny. No, they don't. That precisely the point.
The idea of free to play games is that you're trying to get people to play who wouldn't otherwise and then, once they're hooked, or hooked again, they start paying money.
If you turn people off right away, you've gone against the very principle you're trying to exploit.
As I've said, those players don't really want to come back and pay. The Hybrid model is aimed at those players who liked the game in the past but didn't play enough to justify $15 a month, but could justify $2-$5 a month. That is hardly going against the principle. -
I hate to say it.. but with Freedom being overpopulated this is bound to happen (may even happen to Exalted too...).
What you might want to think about is transfering to a slightly smaller population server for the weekend and then transfering back. (I realize thats a pain but it's an option) -
Maybe it's the mood I'm in but if old returning players are whining that paying 2 dollars a month for a service they used to pay almost 8 times more for.. then they really don't want to come back in the first place.
Though... I DO like Moonlighter's suggestions.. especially locking out the set bonuses.. how about 2-3 Tiers of an IO license? T1 is generic IOs, T2 is Sets but no bonus and T3 is full access.
