I'm really surprised more people haven't complained about this. I pretty much gave up playing my MM until this is fixed. I got sick of having to go let myself be defeated in order to gain control over my pets again.

A character of level 39-41 is needed to start the Trial.
Woot! I love bugs, specially bugs that's been reported many time and still has yet to be fixed. -
Quote:Which IMO, is totally useless. The queue timer takes into account all members of a preformed league that joins the queue and immediately starts, since the time spent outside the queue while the league formed is not counted the average times displayed have no relation to reality.
You are only added to a preformed league if they're under the minimum when they join the queue or if you are tagged to join existing events and they drop below that minimum during the trial. This is working as intended, it allows for 'private' trials.
Seriously, how often do yu ever see a league with lower than minimal standards to start a trial? I didn't think you could start one with less than minimal. How often does a league drop below that minimum standards during a raid? I know I've seen this work once for me the first day I20 went live. To me it's a useless feature.
Allow people to join if the league isn't full, that way people aren't left out to dry when it comes tot he raid content. -
Quote:The new Master badges aren't really Master badges at all. They're more of a collection badge than anything else.No. If anything, the old MOs should be removed and made like the new ones which require badges.
Because the old MO badges are frankly annoying as hell and don't encourage team play as much as 'Oh my god you died and RUINED IT!' Thats not fun.
I prefer the old way over the new, but I'm not complaining either way. -
Ok, so its something that wasn't introduced yet.
Just thought I missed something, guess we all have to wait and see what comes of that.
Thanks for the heads up everyone.

I'm hoping someone can help me with this. I sent in a petition, but I figured I would ask here as well.
I've purchased and unlocked every emote in the game up til now. After getting the newest addition to the list the Alignment emotes with the most recent loyalty program, I noticed that in my menu under ...
Actions > Holiday
it shows 3 emotes, but they are greyed out, I can't click them at all.
Offer Gift
Receive Gift
Throw Snow Flake (this one I can type out manually and it works)
Can anyone explain this? Is everyone else having this issue or it is something I will need to wait for support to help me with?

I still think NcSoft would have made out a lot better if they would have sold this as a 7 year anniversary boost pack. There will be many people out there that will never see this vet badge as I doubt the game will go on for the next 7 years, I hope it does, but I doubt it.
Coulda made a boat load of sales -
For those who want to know, the 10 threads is part of the random reward table.
I was on my tank last night, lead a Lambda, lead the teams into each mob, defeated plenty, got 13 threads, held aggro on everything, lead my team through the warehouse, held aggro in there. I initiated every attack on each group.
We cleared the streets, we cleared the turrets, we cleared the inner court yard. At the end of everything I got a 10 thread reward table. I never went afk during the entire raid. So yes, you can get the 10 threads in the reward table.
It was my first "you suck" reward I've ever gotten, I wasn't to happy about it, but what can ya do?
As for random, I doubt it's working correctly. On my storm defender last night I ran 8 BAFs each rewarded me with a uncommon. Doesn't seem random to me. -

Quote:All I'm going to say is, make a build that gives you soft capped defense to all type damage, you won't regret it at all. I have dull pain, but honestly I never use it. It's just a power holding set bonuses right now.Well this tank is now lvl 47, and Im running mishes solo at +0 x4 or 5 depending on what's in there, and I maybe have to use dull pain one in two, and unstoppable at about 1 in 5 mishes, if my mental tallying is to par.
This is just single origins.
So now, the time I feel has arrived to start putting in the Set IO's to make a start on getting an invulnerable tank that can survive most stuff that comes his way. Went to the auction house... began checking out the sets I'd need as per Call me Awesome's invulnerabilit guides, and my reaction was.......................... WTF!!!!!
The cost of those sets we are literally talking astronomical. There were recipes on there for over 10 million, each, granted, there weren't many for sale, hence the whopping big prices, but if the going rate for those recipes is 10 million, Im gonna have to put in a bid in the regions of 7 figures, of that in order to eventually win them.
I simply just cannot afford to use wentworths to get my recipes, the prices are just out and out rip off and as I don't have a character who has 2 billion odd going begging, Im a bit stuffed for that!! Soooo.... Im resorting to plan B. Merits, Architect Entertainment tickets for those random reward rolls, and maybe even a few mates might be willing to send em my way if they pick em up. Truthfully, as I have now started this very route to my Sets, I think this way when its all said and done and finished, I'll possibly, maybe, perhaps, appreciate my Invul / SS tank a lot more than somebody who just went to market and paid whatever it took to get that awesome tank.
Take your time and do the build right the first time that way you're not wasting money, and don't jump into a build until you are 100% happy. I nearly gave up on my Inv / SS which is my main badger, and I'm glad I held out until I got my build the way I wanted it, now I play him none stop again.
I don't have aid self, I don't have unstop, and as I said before I don't use Dull Pain. I have a solid build and very very survivable. I truly feel like a tank! Many people will say settle for soft capped S/L, but don't cut yourself short, go the full route and soft cap yourself to all damage types, you won't regret it at all.
If you need help with your build, I will gladly lend a hand, just let me know -

Have the Devs even acknowledged this problem yet?
I bet if the Pets were doing double damage this would have been fixed almost instantly, but when it doesn't benefit us, they take forever to fix it.

Quote:Either way, provoke is a awesome power for MM, it keeps the aggro at you and not the pets, giving your pet plenty of survivability as to not having it. I rarely have to cast my Pets out in the middle of battle due to a pet taking the aggro away from me.I have soloed scrapyard, deathsurge and caleb without provoke on my demon/dark miasma mm, before i20 so I personally don't think provoke is a must have.
On the other hand my debuffing might be enough to keep the pets alive, so on other less debuffy secondaries it might come in handy.

It's not something you need, but it's a powerful tool to have as a MM. Not to mention running 75% resist to S/L & Energy and that's not counting the BG which is perfect stacked with my natural resists, I don't use Twilight Grasp that often anymore ...lol -
-
Yes, I'm aware of the stacking rule. I was just unclear on how it worked with rains, it was either the 10 second rule or works from every tick.
So thanks for the info -
Does anyone know how Reactive works with Rain Powers such as:
Sleet
Freezing Rain
Ice Storm
etc...etc? -
Very true!
I knew something was seriously different when I used taunt for the firt time when both AVs were being attacked, the little swirly circle that circles the outside of the power icon was spinning and spinning for about 20 seconds and I found myself rooted for about 30 seconds....lol
Yeah, something is definitely not right here with todays patch. -
That's exactly what I do. I made a macro to tell my pets to stay, while I move off to the side and taunt, then my pets go wild
I attached the macro to my mouse thumb button for faster actions, so when I get within range I click the thumb button and proceed to taunt, that way the henchmen aren't in the line of fire and all the aggro is directed at me. You'll like it I'm sure. -
I'm not sure about any other servers, but since todays patch, the BAF's lag has gotten unbearable. It had lag before todays patch, but after the patch it's gotten 3 times worse.
The Lambda seems to be running just fine with no issues. Has anyone has seen this from other servers? -

Quote:This I can accept. But adding the one shot code to the pets only affects them if they are hit directly. Give the player a chance to heal them if they are fast enough to do so. But at least we have a chance raher than a easy 1 shot kill and have to spend time and endurance casting new pets every few seconds. While i would love to have the one shot code put in on the pets, i can see a problem with it.
Bodyguard mode. An AoE hits (say, nova fist) and deals massive damage to the pets and the masterminds. currently, the pets die, due to combined damage from the AoE and bodyguard mode. Even with the one shot cold, bodyguard mode would then proceed to kill them again, due to the pets doing at 1 HP and then soaking damage from the mastermind. -
Quote:I would love to see a one shot code added to Pets. I can't tell you how much I hate it when I cast my pets and use my equip powers to burn all that endurance on them, only to have to recast pets again after the first group, and then rinse and repeat the same process all over again.Make it so that pets always keep 1 HP if they have full hp and get hit by the lv+5 target.
Give pets the one shot code, and at least give us the opportunity to try and heal them. I'm not sure about everyone else, but trying to get close to your near dead pet to give them a inspiration isn't a very reliable way to keep them alive, specially when they get one shotted. -
