It is entirely possible that the levels that you consider boring could be the kind of content the new player was looking for when they came to the game. This is what makes taking a newbie and inducting them into AE farms from the moment they step into Atlas Park a bad idea.

When an experienced player powerlevels, they usually have a goal in mind. The only goal that exists for the new player doing this is the level cap, expecially if they came from another game where the game really kicks in at the level cap. Can you blame them for getting bored or frustrated when they just spent 4-12 hours doing the same mission over and over again to get to 50, just to be told that the major activities to do at 50 is to either farm moar for phat lewt, do the same 5 raids or TF's over and over again, or go back and do the things they missed in Orobouros?

This is how powerleveling "distorts the game" for new players.

Did this start after adding a particular program, hardware, system change? If you can't think of anything significant that you can try to reverse, then I would back up and reinstall Windows.

Unless you have run a temperature monitoring program, you can't say that with certainty either. This game is very demanding at high settings and we could verify those too if we could see those reports.

Or just try the EU Support site like I did. There was no number provided that I could find, but if anyone finds such info I'll add it to my bookmarks.

Considering that a EU live call center would have to use a multi-lingual call staff I'd be surprised if NCsoft would shell out for that in addition to email support.

Bring up the GUI with /++screenshotui, if it's not already enabled. Then use /screenshot. If you don't already use an online photo vault, I prefer photobucket.com since they don't have annoying popups or ads galore like some others do.


On another note, have you noticed any of your costume items being changed too?

I've been seeing this for many issues. Maybe it's even been going on since I1?

Menu > Options > Graphics and Audio > User Interface > Window Scale

You can decrease the size of all of your windows so that you can close the big honkin' one. Playing at a higher screen resolution would also solve this problem, if you are able to that is.

I don't think Europe has separate phone support. Even if they did I doubt their days of operation would be any different than here, so you'll likely to have to wait until Monday to resolve this.

I should have said available RAM. If you have lots of background applications running, then 2GB of RAM may not be enough. Personally I saw a huge improvement by going from 2GB to 3GB. By huge I mean my previous 15 sec wait for the Blue-side Market to load was cut to 3 sec.
