Sorry can't give any specific help but maybe in graphics options in game turn off or set to lowest setting everything you can. If you see no change then go into the ATI control panel and lower all settings.
If by chance your game should run fine then one by one turn back up the in game graphic settings and out of game ones. When your game screws up again you'll then know what setting it was and turn it back down and all the others up. Or maybe change the screen resolution for the game?
Have no idea if this will work for you, but it's something to try at least. Good luck!
Out of curiosity why did you have to reinstall Vista?
Are you using the same driver version as before?

i reinstalled cause my sound card drivers where conflicting. which is odd that it would do so all of a sudden when i hadnt had any problems with them since i started using vista 4 or 5 months ago. the reason i was using the pci card instead of the mobo sound even though i knew the drivers where out of date was i never have been able to get my mobo sound to work (yes, i enabled them in bios and disabled them when i put in the card) before i wiped it all and started over i had my settings, for the vid card and the game, just as they are in the COHhelper i posted.
it started to not let me load windows at all so i decided to wipe it all and reinstall to see if i went back to how it was before. all my drivers where the same as before i reinstalled vista cause i saved the installs from when i switched to vista and each driver update since then.
now i have a new sound card and it was vista stamped and has no problems thus far. im going to try out what brokentooth mentioned. that will majorly suck if i have to run lower settings than before to get to play the game now.

i recently had to reinstall vista and coh on my comp and ever since then ive had weird glitchy graphics problems and my video driver has been giving an unexpected error and restarting but only when i play coh.
ive been through the ATI card settings recommendations thread and my catalyst and drivers are all up to date.
the ingame graphics look great as always but i get this little glitchieness where it looks like bits of the character are being stretched from the them and when im lookin for AE missions i can see my character through its screen.
im not sure what else to do to get this fixed, and i really dont seem to be able to play the game.
