Name is all undercase

Logged in yesterday to notice that my Wolf-Reign toon's name was changed to wolf-reign. I petitoned yesterday and still no word.

Anybody got any info on this?

Out of curiosity....
What level is the alt? . . . and how old as it? . . . Are you sure it used to be WR, as opposed to wr?

These shouldn't matter, as I have never heard of this happening before.
Whatever Upper/Lower case you put in the name at Creation, should hold.


In the underlying DB in the game, case does NOT matter.
While SuperBoB will always display as SuperBoB, the letters themselves are all that matters to the game. There cannot be both a SuperBoB, and a supERbOb, on the same server. and if you type '/invite superbob', that invite will indeed go to SuperBob.

Lvled it to 50 tonight. I'm not lying when I say one moment its Wolf-Reign and the next day its wolf-reign. I've had the toon for awhile and would have caught something when it happened to change but this came as a surprise. I kept looking back and forth at the name for a better part of 5 minutes during a mission and kept thinking "somethings different..".

Interesting. Like I said, I haven't seen that happen before.

The fact that you just ding'd 50 might be important too...
although that shouldn't matter either.

So one time it has capital W and R, and another time it will have lowercase w and r? It would help if you could screenshot that so we can see.

Bring up the GUI with /++screenshotui, if it's not already enabled. Then use /screenshot. If you don't already use an online photo vault, I prefer photobucket.com since they don't have annoying popups or ads galore like some others do.


On another note, have you noticed any of your costume items being changed too?

That shouldn't matter. It's simple, one moment it was Wolf-Reign (For about a month) and then its wolf-reign. Nothing else changed. wtf? I petitioned it and nothing back on the problem. It's kind of annoying also.

I think at this point, we seem to have a problem that is unique enough that Support will be the only ones that are going to be able to remark on it.

I believe you bugged this at the beginning of the weekend.
I expect Monday (today) will be the first we can expect that they will look at the bug report.

Ah they fixed it. That was one weird bug. I've never heard of that happening before and wish I knew the cause/reason for it.
