    Same.

I have a couple of teen characters and would love tobe able to make smaller boobs. I have one character in particular who I would make almost flat if I could.

    I would love....

... to do some trials. Any kind.

I have been trying for about 3 weeks now without any success.

I have somewhat limited play time and it is becoming increasingly frustrating to:
    * Log in
    * Wait around in RWZ for about 45 minutes
    * Get on a team and wait 15 more minutes to start
    * Log out as everyone is just starting the Trial
    * Repeat the next night.

Are there any regular groups that I might be able to join up with?

That's ok. You're ahead of me. I've never heard the names Sparcetriel, Ractespriel and Trepsarciel before this post and I have been playing since launch.

So chances are that plan got pushed to the back burner till after all other plans with the Allspark and the Fallen went bust. Megatron probably was looking for a way use the space bridge technology, why he had the Decepticons capture the pillars, but nothing came thru till he rsaw Optimus could revive Sentinel with the Matrix of Leadership. Seeing the potential for this plan to be revisited he put it into motion.
Still doesn't really explain why Megs was there 10 centuries before Sentinel.

So I dont take it as this film contradicts the others really. Other than Why heck 200 plus decepticons waited till now to attack earth when there was two major battles.
I just figured that the activation of the bridge reactivated the dormant Decepticons.

He had to fake his departure/death in order to fight against Megatron. He had resisted leaving the Earth's government might have attacked him. It likely took some time to get there from the Atlantic Ocean. Meanwhile the massive army of Decepticons set up shop there before he arrived. He had to use the element of surprise since the Autobots were vastly outnumbered.(why they retreated from DC earlier in the film.) Wasn't til the cons settled in and had divided up their troops was it a viable option to strike back, especially with the humans backing them again.
Oh, I understood all that, but I just have a hard time accepting that Optimus would let things go this way. He'd have found a third option.

Fans pitched a fit over Mark Ryan's performance as Bumble bee in the first film.
Huh. Never heard that. While I thought the voice didn't really match 'Bee's childlike personality, I had no problem with it.

    Quote:
Heh an amusing assesment, but it's actually that he was killed by Cosmic Rust...You see this when Sentinel misses Bumble bee afterward killing Ironhide and the chemicals are eatting away the boxes he hits instead.
Didn't notice it having that effect on the boxes. That makes a bit more sense then.

    I counted four:

    1) Amok Time playing on the TV
    2) "It looks like the starship Enterprise in here!"
    3) "The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few."
    4) 'Bee calling Sam his friend. "My friend" comes from Spocks "you have been and always shall be my friend".

    Ok, so...

** Megatron is supposed to meet up with Sentinel Prime on Earth. Sentinel seemingly leaves Cybertron before Megatron, but arrives on the moon in the 60's, while Megatron arrived on Earth some 10,000 years ago.

** Sentinel has agreed to help the Decepticons and as mentioned above was supposed to rendez-vous with Megatron on Earth. I guess he didn't want the other Autobots to know, so they had the Decepticons fire on the Ark as is blasted off from Cybertron. So, did the Decepticons get carried away and damage the ship in their battle-fury, or are they so incompetent that the only time they hit something is when they are trying not to?

** Optimus Prime, defender of humanity, seems ok with letting a few million humans die to let the government know that the Decepticons really are, you know, bad... Guess he doesn't like Chicago.

** Did Rudy Wells derive bionics from Cybertronian technology? Oscar Goldman was on one screen during the "conference call".

** The Matrix of Leadershp can resurrect fallen Autobots, but can't repair Bumblebee's vocal processor. Earth technology could probably do that.

** Ironhide is a vampire as evidenced by the fact that he is the only Cybertronian to crumble to dust when killed.

Despite disliking several elements (Deep Wang? Really?), I actually enjoyed the movie overall. It was what I expected-- a summer action flick with lots of explosions, fast cars and shooting.

I just wish they could base a movie on War for Cybertron or something.
  7. My first char was an Invuln/ SS tank. I still play her. She's my only Incarnate. I also have a tremendous amount of fiction written about her.
  8. I'd love to try this, but I have now spent probably about 2 hours total waiting for a chance to join a trial. I can't get in to one. Any one. It's pretty frustrating.

I disagree with this and do agree with the notion that better writers are needed. Superman is central to the DC universe. If anything, I find they don't always give him the respect he should have as the hero most adored by the public. He is the greatest DC hero, but isn't always portrayed as such.

I always loved Superman and Spiderman as flip sides of the same coin. The public loves and trusts Superman and fears and distrusts Spidey. I see appeal in both of those portrayals. If my life were in danger, though, as much as I love my other heroes, I would want Superman to be the one saving me.

    Bumblebee cake

    Bumblebee made into a cake.

    Transform and pig out!
  11. Overall, it was very... okay. Nothing thrilling, nothing bad. Just... ok, although it was good seeing everyone again.

Not big on the leap forward of one year. It will be hard to show the characters as having evolved in their relationships while still keeping them familiar and keeping us from feeling like we missed all of the important character development.

Tara as a lesbian? Totally out of left field (I haven't read the books, other than the first, so I have no idea if that is in keeping with her portrayal there). I got the feeling that some producer somewhere said "Hey, know what this show needs? Lesbians!" so they just threw it in there. Made no sense to me and just felt like they were trying to meet a quota for gay characters.
  12. One of my dad's favourites. I remember watching Columbo together with him or sometimes my mom.

    RIP

DC these days makes me think of kids playing dress-up:

    Boy 1: Who's Batman?
    Boy 2: I'm Batman!
Boy 1: No, you were Batman last time!
Boy 2: Ok, then I'm Robin!
Boy 1: No, Billy is Robin. You can be Nightwing.
Girl 1: Aww, *I* wanted to be Nightwing!
Boy 1: You can be Nightwing after next week's reboot.

It's one of the reasons I can't take them seriously anymore.
  14. /Agreed.

I personally know a number of people who would make great additons to the community here, but who have not joined due to lack of resources.
  15. I don't mind the look of it and the character designs, but I agree with Tenzhi that it looks somewhat lifeless. Looks like it was animated 10 years ago.
  16. You know... reading this again

    The Tim Drake Robin pack...
makes me wonder if this is just a skin to replace the Dick Grayson Robin. Otherwise, why specify Tim in the name?
  17. Yeah, from what I gather, it is basically a forum to discuss the books and "for the first time ever, buy the ebooks."

    Yay.

There is also something about participating in the stories (fanfic section?) and Rowling says she'll be sharing information regarding the HP universe that she's been "hoarding since forever".

Nothing terribly exciting, IMO. Had this been launched some 8 years ago, fine, but now? Meh.
  18. Not sure about this... I loved Batman's outfit in AA because it looked like armour, but kept the look of his comic outfit. This doesn't look much like robin to me. Looks like he has a hood there, too. Also not crazy about the face/ head.

There was a line or two in AA that made it sound like it was still early in Batman's career (despite Babs already being Oracle). That they're on Tim already, with him looking about 19 or 20 years old seems a bit odd to me.

    Really???

For me, I saw 3D in the title card, the end credits and exactly *two* other spots, lasting about 12 seconds. There was absolutely no discernable 3D for about 99.9% of the movie.

Anyhow, I liked it. Now, this isn't Hal Jordan as I remember him, but that's probably good, because this Hal seems to have a broader appeal. I thought it managed a good balance between story and action and I loved Sinestro.

My only complaint is that the final battle with Parallax seemed anti-climactic. It was good, but not great. Trying to avoid spoilers... Without giving anything away, Hal's final blow to Parallax could have/ should have been repeated a few times; a good one-two-three would have been nice.

Certainly worth seeing, even though it cost me almost 50 bucks for me, my wife and our son. I prefered Thor (likely because I prefer Thor as a character), but this was perfectly enjoyable in it's own right.

    Chinese Iron Man

Haven't seen this anywhere else, so hopefully I'm the first to post it:

    Chinese Iron Man

    I love this line:
    Quote:
The suit was designed and built by 25-year old Wang XiaoKang, who was inspired to build it after watching the hit 2008 movie Iron Man, potentially a pirated copy with poorly translated subtitles that implied it was a documentary.

I have given up on trials because I wait about 45+ minutes for a group to form, then about 25 more minutes for everyone to figure out who is doing what. After that, I log off because I have used all my play time waiting for something to happen.
  24. So, is this really animated, or a motion comic?
