  4. Icarnate Judgement blast powers will not allow you to form a chain in any way shape or form.

    I cannot think of a way you can turn a tank into a character that has a sold ranged attack chain. The game isnt really set up that way..

    You could take a blaster and build a high defense build with powers and IO's
  5. I think I might be the only person that is a little upset about this enhancement. For years some of us have been looking for a way to have a choice as to whether a power does knockback or not and now we have been given that choice in a limited fashion because the IO is a Unique..

    Therefore in toons with Multiple KB attacks I can only slot this once..

    Not saying im not going to place it in a few toons.. but kind of a huge letdown for the plans I had for some
  6. Here is my build as he is Live now.. I was going for Perma Energize and got really close.. off by about 2-3 seconds... with a few foes in range its usually perma... He is sofcapped to Smashing Lethal and about 43% Energy. Obviously I did not take my travel powers that late but I havent reworked the Mids build to 100% accuracy as to when I took the travel powers but the slotting is 100% accurate.

    Maybe this will give you some ideas about the directions you would like to go.

    Very disappointed to see that the -kb proc will be a unique and it wont be global either... This would have totally changed my signature toon..oh well back to hover blasting....

    Its not a problem blueside because there are so many blue enemies that dont have any mezzes at all, which is why they get so farmed.

  12. with the new -KB IO that is coming out with the Summer Events I was wondering how are we supposed to acquire it. Is it from running the new events? Can you buy it with some of the various Merits we have in the game (Astral, Hero, Reward) or will it just be a random drop. Is it a rare IO set or something more in the line of a rare ?? Is it unique ? Can you only slot it in one power ( which would suck for my Nrg Blaster )

    Any heads up info from those with experience from Beta testing would be appreciated.

  13. Isnt clicking Aim alone enough to get the " insta-snipe " ?? I dont really see the problem with the 22% if you just click Aim before Snipe..

  15. I would like for VS to be a real pet that draws its OWN aggro and get a few more attacks. Electric keeps being compared to Fire.. well NOTHING is Fire.. so Fire should be removed from the equation IMO.

    I enjoy Electric for some of the very same reasons that Circuit Boy already described.
  16. I tend to make characters in themes.. Ice, Electric, Fire etc..

    I have a Dark/Stone tank named Sandstone and a Staff/Dark tank named SandStorm and the Dark powers are recolored to look like sand..

    So now I am thinking of a Sandblast character most likely a corruptor. I dont like Dark Blast ( I hate the little skulls on some of the attacks ).. I am thinking of trying Water Blast and coloring it like sand when it comes out.. problem is secondary.. it needs to look like sand.

    I am thinking maybe poison as an option maybe even cold..

    Any other thoughts ??

  19. Well it looks like I am late to the party for the second day in a row.. darn job getting in the way of my CoH time...

    I only have one suggestion which was made by someone else earlier in this thread and I thought it was a good one.

    Understanding the reasoning behind Lightning Clap/Force of Thunder and now realizing that it will work out of combat as a buff an in combat as mez attack.. I would like to submit for your consideration changing the animation for Lightning Clap to the one from Lightning Rod (without the teleportation obviously)

    This will work very well artistically and thematically both in and out of combat. Out of Combat you charge yourself with Electricity for the buff and in Combat You call down Lightning to Stun and Disperse your foes..

    I think this would go over EXTREMELY well..

    Bad Decision on the Devs on this one.. You know what I see here.. People not taking Lightning Clap because IT SUCKS.. Hey lets put something that they want into something that sucks so that it doesnt suck as much and people will start taking it..

    Why not put it in Lightning Field like Blazing Aura in Fire ??? What was the specific reason THIS power that almost no Electric Blaster I know takes chosen ??? Devices gets their buff in Cloaking Device.. Toggle.. Ice get theirs in chilling embrace.. another Toggle... AND they increase the radius of Chilling Embrace ???

    This should be placed in Lightning Field.. something that would benefit EVERY playstyle..

    Thats just my opinion.. but I am mostly unimpressed with these changes..

    Personally what I think this game needs is more tiers like the VEAT's get or MORE options per set like a Kheldian gets.. Then that would give greater latitude for each person to build as they see fit and not have something just slapped onto random power as an afterthought...

    And I dont want to belittle what the Devs are trying to do.. I understand they see an issue and are trying to address it. great.. but I am saying that the issue needs to be addressed from the AT perspective.. not just the Powerset..

    when Dominators got a change a while back there were specific changes in the way the AT works.. yes there were some powersets that had some slight changes but those changes didnt cause you to respec in and out if powers..

    When Defenders complained that Digiligence sucked.. ( and it did ) ad they had a hard time soloing some changes were mean to the AT through its inherent to add 30% more damage solo with a diminishing returns scale scale as team grew bigger..

    Brute Fury changes affect the AT not just the powers...

    Stalker changes affected the AT in general across the board.. even if you didnt take AS there was STILL some benefit.. wih the other changes...

    SO again.. im not upset about my Elec/Elec believe me... my issue is about how the combinations work between each other...
