  1. Somehow make it an option, and yes.

Make it the only way to do it, then no. There are way more times I want to buy several stacks of items, than there are when I want to buy one of one and two of another. (yep, I'm one of those people who are profiting off your 75,000 Luck Charms. why the hell would you pay that much for a freakin' LUCK CHARM? Put your bid in and WAIT, you'll get 'em at 20k, 25k, 30k...of course, if you do that, then I do not make money off your impatient butt)
  2. Marcian, I think it's hysterical that you misspelled Praetorian not once, not twice, but three whole times ("Praetoian"). You also spelled the 'world' as "Praetoia". Do you have a speech impediment that prohibits you from saying the 'r' sound twice in words?

No wonder you're a Loyalist! Don't have to think...Emperor Cole will think for you! Spelling? Not necessary! Happy fun ball time now!

You answered that in your second sentence. It's not a click-attack. It's a toggle.

    Account codes.

I think so, though of course you wouldn't get second copies of the goodies. Not 100% sure, though.

Once you've applied that, the game finally understands that you are not hidden in anyway and most functions like adding globals return. At least until the game randomly decides you're hiding again
Instead of doing that, you can instead use two commands:

    /hideall
    /unhideall

This ends up with the same process, but is much faster/less tedious.

Disconnecting is not quitting a TF/SF (or pseudo-TF/SF). When you come back into game, you are still on the TF/SF.

Quitting is hitting the button in the team list, or typing /leaveteam.

There is also an actually Mac Booster Pack, which just includes the items and bonus power. The difference is that the special edition also includes 30 days of game time. Since the booster is about $10, and a month of game time is normally about $15, the Special Edition is a slight savings if you choose to get it. ($20 for Booster + time, rather that $25 for getting the booster and paying for a single month separately.)

In any case, once you've purchased the version you want, make *certain* that you apply it as an upgrade to your existing account, rather than creating a new account.

$9.99 The Mac Special In-Game Item Pack

    $19.99 The Mac Special Edition
    -$15.00 Free Month
    -----------------------
$4.99 cost after deducting the month the OP won't have to pay for.

As many of us will point out while it seems the full editions are more expensive the free month you get actually makes them cheaper than the item packs.
    BUY THINGS SEPARATELY:
    $9.99 Mac Booster
    $14.99 Month of Play
    = $24.98
(this is where SB got $25 from)

    BUY EDITION:
    $19.99 Mac Edition
= you pay less for the booster (or less for the month of play, or a smaller bit less for both, whichever way you want to see it)

Wakies can be in-combat self-rezzes. I've done it many, many times. I will continue to do it many, many times.
  15. Right click the shortcut for the game.
In the Target: box, add this to the end (without the quotes - the space and hyphen are important):
    " -maxfps 60"
-- if you installed to the default location, that would make the Target: box look like this:

    "C:\Program Files\City of Heroes\CohUpdater.exe" -maxfps 60
  16. Why not expand it to places people are far more likely to come from? I don't know, like Seattle?
  17. Keep in mind, HeroCon.

There was a TON of traffic over the last couple days because of people Twittering and being copy-pasted over here, often times many times over in different (or even the same) threads.

Growth was officially nixed at HeroCon, I think during the post-keynote Q&A session. It's literally not possible with this game engine.
  20. The only 'skippable' power in Rad Em is Mutation. It's nice, but it's not really awe-inspiring. (It'd go up way more on the cool factor if you puked at the end, a la Poison's rez!!!) I can get most of the same effect from popping a wakie, break free, and some other random inspirations laying in my tray, and I don't have the brief debuff 90 seconds later.

    There are several 'debatable' powers:
-- Fallout (requires a dead teammate; in the vast majority of my time playing my various Rads, I actually rarely have dead teammates, due to the awesomeness of the rest of Rad Em and my teammates' fabulousness)
-- Radiant Aura (Rad Em is about debuffing... having an AoE heal is nice, but it's super costly and weak for a set that can't supplement it with single-target topping off)
-- Choking Cloud (it's really, really awesome having a PBAoE hold toggle! until you realize that its accuracy sucks, it sucks endurance like crazy, and the holds are ridiculously short duration!! until you realize that CC benefits from frankenslotting more than just about any other power in the game!!!)

The rest of the powers? Radiation Infection, Accelerate Metabolism, Enervating Field, Lingering Radiation, EM Pulse... Take them, slot them, and kill the world.

Note: my level 40-whatever plant/rad has every /rad power, even Mutation. She mostly has Mutation so that I don't feel bad about my aggressive love for Vengeance>Fallout. (though again: see note on Fallout, above: I actually rarely get to use this combo)
  21. Radiation Emission/EM Pulse costs 20 end to cast, and gives you -1000% recovery debuff (same as a true nuke). It does not, however, bottom out your endurance entirely, like a true nuke does. So if you cast it when you have 20 end, then yeah, you're going to drop all your toggles, etc. But if you manage your endurance better and don't cast it when it'll drain you, all you need is a few blues (the debuff only lasts 15 seconds!) to keep you on your feet (or an endmod-slotted Adrenaline Boost from a friendly Empath; how I love thee, Adrenaline Boost!)

I recommend not 'trying it out for a few minutes and passing final judgment'. Heck, I recommend not doing that with any power. Take the power and play with it over the course of two to three play sessions. THEN you'll see whether it's useful to you or not.

Respecs rain like candy, so don't be afraid to tinker.

Do you have your thread size set to 500 posts per page? Drop it to 100. Anything over a couple hundred posts causes the forums to choke. I don't know why they don't just get rid of that option.
