Yes, the Mac Special Edition acts like a booster pack. You can buy it as an upgrade, even if you play on the PC. Since the booster is about $10, and a month of game time is normally about $15, the Special Edition is a slight savings if you choose to get it. I have the heroe vs. villians addition for pc. I want the valkry set. If i buy the mac version the set comes with online, will i get the set for my characters i already have on my current account. Basically, does buying the amc version work like buying a booster for my current account?
