Are Reward Merits Working As Intended?
It was designed as an alternate way to obtain (most) recipes. You can currently purchase (most) recipes with merits.
Therefore, it is working as intended. -

Unfortunately, it's not that easy. Depends on what the guide's about. Different powersets/powers/archetypes were changed at different times.

The Ouro version DOES NOT award Posi's Ally.

See 9283472837452 other threads for why this is bad.

Quote:Another unappreciated power. A single SO EndRedux and you're fine. Certainly beats getting knocked out of the sky right into the middle of a pack of nasties by Snipers when Super Jumping around Founders' Falls and Crey's Folly and other such Sniper-infested areas (which is the exact reason why my AR/Dev Blastard picked it up. Haven't regretted it for a second).
Or, if you're slotting for knockback in a power or two anyway, Kinetic Crash offers -3 KB for four slots (and the other set bonuses are tasty, too).
That's why Sailboat said "get a load of Acrobatics" in derision. -
Quote:No, it's Rularuu eyeballs and Rikti Drones that ignore stealth. wiki linkKnives of Artemis and Rikti Drones however, do ignore stealth.

How to silence specific game sounds - which can be altered to "how to replace specific game sounds with something you want to hear instead", by using something other than the silent .ogg supplied.

Tell the scrappers to turn off AAO/etc. It's not doing them any good when they're attacking Hami anyway.

The prestige sprints are mutually exclusive with Sprint itself, and the devs supposedly removed the dust trail from the prestige sprints (since they each have their own special aura, you don't need the dust trail to tell you sprint's on) a while back. I haven't claimed that veteran reward in years since it gives you all four instead of a choice of which one to take, which clutters up my enhancement/respec screen, so I can't verify that. It may have gotten broken if it WAS fixed.

The arena fights that are listed by the game are never used. You need to get in on a player-created arena fight if you want to do anything with it. If you want to get in on an arena fight, use the /arena chat channel (I don't think it's in a chat tab by default, so you'll have to edit a tab to add it) to drum up some interest. Or ask your supergroup. Or as your server's global channel(s). Or go down into the PVP forum section and ask.

What I do is sneak ahead when the group is almost finished and drop my toe bombs just outside of the next group. Usually he's finished by the time I'm done, and we pull the new spawn back the couple of feet it takes for them to trigger the mines. Meanwhile, we're laying waste and then in a few seconds, I run forward to the next group again. Truly disgusting and awesome.

No one has to take a rez. All the team has to do is give someone one or two inspirations so they can make a wakie (or give them a wakie). I have never seen a player get chewed out because they don't have their rez. I went 50 levels with a Radiation Emission pactmate who didn't take their rez. No one ever complained about him. He's much more useful as a walking debuff bomb than to waste a power slot on something he'll almost never use (our teams these days basically never die unless things get really out of hand).
My characters that don't take their rezzes, I just make sure to carry a wakie at all times so I can hand them out instead of taking a little-used power. -
Quote:You can't copyright names anyway. You trademark them. They can't copy right character names you know that right?
NCsoft has a list of names that they disallow, to simply save time on moderation.
But to get genericed you'd need to have both the name and costume, which then becomes a copy right infringement.
Edit to clarify:
They can't copyright a name like Red Mist, because it's made of two normal real world words.
That's why 90's Grim Dark comic characters have misspelled names, because it's easier to copyright those. -
I have a fire/traps corruptor that goes along with a ss/wp brute, they are NASTY together and it is beyond awesome. Traps takes a lot of getting used to for most players, but it's a fun, different secondary.

Because there are recipes that do not exist at certain levels. Some recipes go 10-50. Others go 10-20, 15-30, 20-50, etc. etc. Setting your level range means "I want to select from recipes that are available during these levels, and I don't care about any recipes that are not available at this range".

Quote:Technically, Help isn't a global channel, it's a server channel. However, I agree with keeping trials out of true global channels.Trials can use the /hc global channel. Giving them more global channels will only result in people editing their chat boxes and removing those channels from their chat boxes so they won't see RMT spam.
However, I would agree with lightning the no-team-invites restriction: may invite a character to team if mutual friends (both characters have each other on friends list - and the error should state as such when attempting to invite when the stipulations are not met). The devs would probably have to make new code for this, but it would go a long way to making the trial "environment" more friendly to non-RMT folks.
Additionally, (again, new code), allow trial accounts to REPLY to tells, but not start their own conversations. Could even be a new command, /trialreply or something. The error message when using standard reply (/r /reply) or standard tells should state the availability of the /trialreply command. -
