While I do enjoy the upgrade to the comic graphics, there are a few things about the story that are annoying me.

I'm wanting to hear more greek mytholgy be hashed out and not seem so... cheesy. For example, Statesman origin, I was expecting something... well more. Its a ok story device with the fountain, but I found the script that used it seemed forced.

Manticore: who do you think you are? some being of ultimate power?
Statesman: Oh hell ya, I drank from some fountain one day and it gave me super powers, I got Zues in me. Oh and I have a person who is my personal villain. Now I've told you more about me in the last two minutes then the entire time I've fought with you guys helping me. Now looked shocked ok.
Manticore: O_O
Manticore: So can we get our powers back for Posi and the Sister?
Statesman: No.Unless...No.

I'm being a bit harsh there but that is kind of what I thought when I read it. There are some panels that I thought were very well done, such as the few with odysseus in them, and a portion of the sister psyche. I think its safe to say the artist *really* likes to make sure she looks near perfect.

Overall I am liking the setup of Positrons character, despite the fact of him being a ticking time bomb, he still manages to give that buzzard one swift punch to the kisser and preform better then everyone else (maybe with the exception of Manticore)

Another thing that bothers me is the fact that States seems to be dying at the end of every comic. [sarcasm]Let me just say that boy I can't wait to see what kind of revive power is used on him.[/sarcasm]

Let me finish off saying that I still enjoy the comic, but that I am finding quite a few things that are annoying to me as a reader to see.

I would say I'm more of a Scrappus Devastatus, with some tendacies of a feral(CrystalMoon's kind).
I rarely ever team usless I have too, I have soloed Dr. Vahz, FrostFire(had a scrapperlock death during it), the Positron TF, trioed the Synapse TF, Maestro, and have been the first man in and last man out during a Hess generator disaster(only dying because my end was depleted while in a horde of villians.) Plus I love to use MoG just for the hell of it.

I think I'm sitting around 32 Storyarcs so far, my greatest enemies are sappers, and missing when I need the hit the most.

My Feral side comes out only when there is a defender or controller who I know is looking out for me. I think its the fact that since they are looking out for me even a little bit that I get overzealous with my parenting skills. Even if they can usually manage to hold there own at times I look at any attempt to hurt them as indirect attempt to bring me down. I especially get upset when a */Rad controller or a Rad/* defender gets hurt because that usually indroduces and old enemy of mine that I hate (missing a target).

Just a thought...

What if Statesman found the relic that helped Zeus defeat the Titans. Could this explain his "inner fire"? For all we know this relic could fit into the palm of his hand or be inserted into his heart like a CoT Thorn.

I am sorry but I cannot recall he name of this Greek item(been way too long since I've read greek mytholgy.) This could somewhat explain why we are getting items of power for CoV SG bases and why they were being fought for in the E3 video. What importance does this "Crystal of Selena" hold anyway?(I am refering to the conversation around the begining of the E3 movie when Recluse first speaks. "Selena" is what he seems to be refering to and then they go and protect the crystal.)((as a side note that was the best I could make out for that dialogue, curse Recluse and his Darth Vader like voice))

Statesman was clearly obfuscating there. As time has passed and he has shown no signs of aging, more questions are being asked. Issue 2 of the comic will give more details about Statesman and Issue 3 will bring the loathesome Lord Recluse's connection into sharp focus.

I was once horribly addicted to those [self censor] Pokmon craze cards.

I spent more money on that craze then anything else in my life, obsessed over it day and night. Alienated myself from some of my friends. I was diluted amounst other things and did I mention that I spent scads of money on it.

Needless to say as much as I really, really want to buy some, I know the consicuences(sp?) would be dire, and as such I am afraid I must retract myself from buying these cards...no matter how much I want them.

I'm not sure if I'm happy or upset about this.

I'll probably look at this in the morning and think to myself;What the hell was I thinking.

I am really hoping something is done about the Gravity set to make it's animations a bit faster. Needs a few other general tweaks here and there *cough -get rid of Propel- *cough*.

I also have a fire /rad controller who is level 29 and have been leveling him up naturally via teaming with same leveled heroes. I have to say it is going to be quite rewarding when I get imps, and I hope it stays that way.

I have to say, it does look really nice.

Wish I could make mine look similar to that. It's nice and sharp.

How can I articulate my feelings of this, hmm.... I suppose I'll start with a

This is going to be VERY fun. Can't wait till the 5th's attempt to take over Paragon in force. Lots and lots of Column soldiers are going to be defeated. My bad day just got a whole lot better.

You mean that doesn't exist now? Dangnabbit.

I hear "sky raider," and my mind instantly flits to something on the evil side of Final Fantasy. Large battleships hovering over the skies of Paragon City, that the heroes must infiltrate and destroy. I just naturally assumed (I know, I know) that the sky raider instanced outdoor missions had aerial battles just as a matter of course.

Now that I think about it, though, I guess it would be kind of silly. How would the folks with Super Speed get up there? What if Super Jump was *just* short of the entrance? What if no one has Teleport Friend? What if no one has Fly?

Hmmm. This bears thinking about. Because it would have an extremely high cool factor. Maybe a sort of Stargate-ish transport rings -- step into the circle of light and zone into the base (kind of like the way Circle of Thorn missions are laid out). And once you've set the explosives, you have to dash out before the timer runs out.

Okay, so now I'm envisioning a whole series of things to go with this -- a time bomb temporary power, strategic locations to place such things, a new way to zone in and out of missions ... how cool would that be to see in a task force?

And here I was thinking all this stuff was already in-game, and that I just hadn't done enough missions or gotten high enough level to see it.

Er, to get back to RavenStorm's announcement: excellent. That will add another bit of strategic thinking when attacking Sky Raiders in Terra Volta; no more hovering easily out of reach.
