i never use any toggles on my fire/fire
[/ QUOTE ]
Wot no Blazing Aura or Flame Shield!! Get them slotted 3x End Redux, 3x Resist (or damage) and you'll be fine.
[/ QUOTE ]
Dont try to patronize me with a mis-quote please
I said i am doing just fine without them
Sure, maybe id level faster and get more xp/time if i were running them all the time, but then id have to rest all the time and that isnt much fun
When my consume and stamina gives me so much end that i cant actually spend it all ill start throwing in toggles (my build has 7 of them) -
i have perfectly fine framerates and performance, and my computer is 3 years old, and wasnt state of the art when i bought it (2,9 ghz, 6600 3d card, 1gb ram)
-
i never use any toggles on my fire/fire, and i have no problems surviving
I rather play on a lower difficulty and never rest than have to stop every pack and regain my end
Got to work that fury bar !
Im 20 so far and just got consume, which is quite unerwhelming...But by 23 with consume and stamina and slots in them i will be running more toggles more or less all the time -

Dark Melee has a attack with a heal (10%) with a 15s recharge, so you could get a 20% heal every ~8 seconds, which is actually more healing over time than the secondary heals.
[/ QUOTE ]Siphon life is really bad power though, it may look good on paper but it's just...BAD, in practice.
[/ QUOTE ]
Oki, never tried it
Healing flames is bad as well though, i rarely use it in combat, only when im on the run towards the next pack. Still, a 50% heal every 30 seconds is nothing to laugh at, despite its 3 second downtime after using it -

My other thought about an Elec/Elec build is that with no hp recovery power and a hp crash in the level 9 power the Medicine pool could be very useful.
Or could at least 3 slot Health.
[/ QUOTE ]
Energy Aura doesnt have a self heal either, how do they fare ?

DM/elec isnt much of a concept character though...
Is it just me and PRAF68 that is conserned about elec/elec's lack of a heal ? -
So what is the verdict ?
Pvp or pve set ?
Those visuals are awesome, much cooler than my fire/fire :/ guess ill be making a elec/elec with everyone else -
its still -8 degrees celcius outside here, and its almost the middle of april
-
Weave give minor immobilization resist and DEFENSE to melee, range, lethal and smash
It doesnt give psi resist -
Im having fun with my fire/fire
both a self heal and a endurance recovery power, and an additional build up in the secondary set, while the primary set has a very powerful aoe
They say we are very good at pve but not that good at pvp
Then again, i see alot of people having theorized themselves into conclusions everywhere, instead of actually having done it themselves, so for all i know we are good at pvp as well -
That sounds quite fun, especially if combined with the visuals of lighting armors (the lvl 1 fire armor in lightning form would look awesome)
When is this stuff coming ? -
Any news on this power set ? (im still at a loss to how people get I7 info :O)
Will it be a pvp or pve set ?
My fire/fire isnt that high yet, and i made her mainly because all the visuals are neat, but elec sounds even more visual (imagine running around inside a ball of lightning !) But if its a pvp set ill just continue with my fire/fire -
I got siphon speed at lvl 6 and was tired of it being so incredibly unreliable by lvl 7
Having to rebuff IR every 60 seconds gets old really fast as well, waste of a power for me at least (sure, if you make a kin to stand in atlas park and buff people for attention, IR is the power for you)
I have SS and SJ in my build now, with fly planned (yup, 3 real travel powers) seeing as a kin can skip stamina thats 3 powers freed up, and i only wanted 5 from my secondary anyways, so i could pick tons of travel powers
And hasten is REALLY nice -
I made a fire/fire, has been decent fun so far, to lvl 18
Cant really comment wether or not its good for pve later, but ive read several posts proclaiming fire primary, and fire/fire, kings of PvE damage output
Full fury bar, + build up + fiery embrace + flaming sword cicle = dead pack of enemies

EA i think will be far better in I7 (if i understand the new defence system ok).
[/ QUOTE ]
Where do you read about this new system ? -

To be honest, I'd expect some of those numbers to be closer to 75% than they are.
[/ QUOTE ]
Yup, when people complain that the accuracy seems wrong tell them to parse it for some real numbers
When these numbers are presented, tell them they are wrong -
Ive noticed this as well :/
Not sure if ive noticed it because i read this, or noticed it because it is indeed happening
This is with DOs
I did notice missing ALOT when in TOs (and before i read this thread) but i brushed that off as being due to having TOs and as such generally low accuracy
A similar problem existed with warriors in WoW in the early days not long after the game was released. attack skills in wow all have a 95% chance to hit, ie 5% chance to miss, versus an enemy of your own level, yet warriors missed more than that. Blizzard fended it off as just being a case of humans noticing patterns where we want to notice them (as mentioned in this thread already) so people started testing. This one guy did 5000 attacks with specials and got a 15% miss rate, more than 3 times what it was supposed to be. Blizzard fended that off as statistical anomaly (id say 5000 tests are quite representable statistically...) but a few patches later the problem were fixed after all -
Kin is propably one of the easier ones, just have your kin on follow on your stalker at all times, and have the stalker targeted, that way whenever you fire off a transfusion heal it will land on the stalkers target (which should be close to the stalker as he is a melee class) and fill up his health
Im sure you can make some hefty macros automating the following and such a bit -

I thought DM/SR might be a strong combination, however SR and Ice Tanks will resist -acc.
[/ QUOTE ]
You mean in PvP? -
Im toying with a DM/SR build, DM to reduce their accuracy, and SR for the ok defenses which requires accuracy to get past
Provided DM gets the end drainer from the scrapper set etc -
Sowhere in relation to the existing sets would you place the primary and secondary ?
High single target damage ? several AoEs ? primarily a PvP build ? -

The values in the hero builder, are those for lvl 1 stalkers or higher ?
What are the values for top level ones ? -
You a corrputor only SG ?
i know precision rangers is a blaster only SG, but it doesnt specifically state that this one is a corr only -

some of the claws attacks are getting faster anims with issue 7 so don't let it put you off too much
[/ QUOTE ]
Yup, but claws is still a weird set
The first power is argued to be worthless, and the 2 final powers are cone, why would a stalker be involved in a fight where he is fighing so many enemies at once that the cone is worth it, over for example the 2 final powers in EM which are both single target, and massive damage
