  1. I start playing a month ago, and my only toon is a MM

"veterans" always recomend "bots/traps" but i gotta say that with my "bots/dark" im having a lot of fun.

Ok, between LVL20-32 its a bit difficult sometimes, but after a month, LVL33 ^^

Your personal blast attacks, even if you're not going to slot them out, at least put in an Accuracy enhancement so that when you do shoot, you'll have a decent chance to hit.

Twilight Grasp, I suggest at least 1 Recharge enhancement. Replace one of the 3 Heal enhancements. When your bots start to receive heavy damage, it'll come fast and hard. More heals when you need it now is better than bigger, slow heals.

For the Battle Drones, I'd leave the slotting at (the SO equivalent of) 3 Accuracies and 3 Damages. They're -2 to you and -3+ to whatever you're fighting. They're not going to last long enough to have endurance issues. If you can get some cheap Set IOs pieces for A/D, you might be able to save a slot allocation.

For the Protector Bots and Assault Bots, start off with 2 Acc and 3 Dam, then fill with something for their secondaries.

Tar Patch, 2-3 Recharge enhancements. Maybe 1 Slow if you have slots to spare later on.

Darkest Night, 1 Endurance Reduction, 3 -tohit Debuffs.

Howling Twilight, 2-3 Recharges, maybe 1 Stun later. Remember, it's an attack with a side effect of rezzing.

Shadow Fall, 1 End Red, 2 Resist, 2 Defense.

Petrifying Gaze, 2 Acc, 1 Rech, maybe 1 Hold later.

Maneuvers, 1 End Red, 2-3 Def.

Assault, you don't really need this. If I was going to take it, I'd put it off. Especially since you should have picked up Dark Servant! He's your best pal. Slot him with 3 -tohit Debuffs, 2 Rechs, 1 Acc.

Tactics, 1 End Red, 3 tohit Buffs.

Note: Hover comes before Fly. However, I'd suggest skipping Hover and picking up Air Superiority instead (2 Acc, 1 Rech). It has guaranteed knock down for most enemies up to some Elite Bosses. You can continually bounce an enemy such that they can't retaliate at all while also being able to slip in an additional attack of your own during the bounce. Air Superiority can save your life! I leave it on auto attack (ctrl-click it) so that if anybody comes into my face, I do ctrl-Tab (target nearest enemy) and BAM! Kiss the ground fool!

Stamina, depends, but I'd 3 slot it with non-Set End Mods. That A/R you have there is totally useless since it's not an attack.

Edit: I forgot, you also skipped Fearsome Stare! It will completely change your play style from the moment you pick it up and try it out. You will realize that it is your easy mode button. Put in 2 Acc, 1 Rech, then some -tohit Debuffs later.
Thanks, i will keep it in mind when changing enchancements.

  4. I was one of those who buy rather than manufacture. Until I began to find what the IO are (and after spending several million on them) finally i understand that it is more "profitable" build than buy.

Now, I just have to understand what I'm making and how it works: P

    (yep, im a newbie)

    Happy Towel Day

    just gonna say... 42 xD
  6. Thanks for your answers

I still in my first month playing and after "Protean" I started to be more careful in doing things
  7. Hi

Yesterday, i saw him for the first time, but without seeing his lvl, i dunno if was a good idea to attack.

I read that giant monsters "change lvl" depending on the player lvl, but a lvl29 MM (bots/dark) have any chance to do it alone? (after fight protean and die over and over again, I'm more cautious. Btw... thanks to the Lvl49 who finally help me)

(as usual, soz for my english)
  8. as a newbie, I'm finding myself in situations like this every day, but it's nice to see that not just my problem, everyone has a past :P
  9. Hi

Any idea what i could being doing wrong?

    (Btw: soz for my english)

    SG or Cult?

For clans / guilds like that, "Wiros" was born in a QuakeII server around 1997, so many rules are not made for us.

It seems that some people forget that it is a GAME and the main goal is to have fun.

14 years latter, a punch of us still wearing proudly the tag, even turn it in our name is no other wiros there :P

For non-standard Inventions (Those with peculiar names) look for 'Inventions' under this menu.

You will require the recipe + salvage + crafting cost.

    Fury
Thnaks!, thats what i was asking.

    Will try latter
  12. Hope this is the correct place to ask...

Ok, sounds lame, but cant find it (i already ask google)

If your a villain it would be either Villain or Rogue.

If your wanting to become a hero pick the rogue tips.

You earn credit for them but can only earn credit on 5 a day. Once you complete 10 tip missions you'll have the morality mission drop for you.

Run the morality mission and confirm your rogue alignment and viola! Your now able to cross over to the Hero side.

In order to become a full fledged Hero instead of a Rogue (which has some restrictions) You'll need to do 10 more tip missions focusing on Hero alignment this time.
    Thanks, will start trying tonight

Whatever... if u see a black smoke trail in the sky, say hi, its me flying around

P.D. mmmmm How i could change side/"city"? (yep, i know, newbie to the core, i still having problems understanding almost everything)

    Hi all

I just buy COH(going rogue) a week ago, but I couldnt start playing until a couple of days for "technical problems"(my pass was not working)

In these two days I've been swarming around the server trying to get the hang of, but had not played a MMORPG, Since SWG (before Sony made it unplayable)

    So... A couple of questions:

    - You can form groups for specific missions or just to gain xp faster? There any particular place where people come together to form a group?

    - Like a "mastermind lvl5": What is best suited to win xp, get quests, or just kill kill kill?

    Thanks 4 ur time
  18. Hi all, another mac player, ok, not a player yet because i bought COH 2 days ago, and cant log, already send a couple of tickets to TS, but without a solution yet

Every time i try to log the answer is "invalid username or pass" (and both are ok and working in the web, etc..)
