If we have no way to opt out any longer then can we change The Fool? Having received the "buff" twice in a row, nearly consecutively, without invitation, was quite annoying. I never asked or took the risk at having my to-hit debuffed. Now I have to go through 20 minutes more of game play with a negative game mechanic and the only choice I made was logging on.

Hero 16-19 Story Arc
Arc name: Rumblings of the Past
Contact: Jim Temblor
Merits Awarded: 4 (+1) -
I am involved in a moderate group, 10 active members, and my family's group, 4 members. My family has bases on 6 servers.
Base Repricing
1) How will the repricing of bases affect you personally?
We will be able to achieve goals at least a year early. We don't pay rent currently but we will be able to afford it in the new system.
2) Will you dismantle your base to gain the additional prestige from the repricing?
Definitely. I can get 2 million in prestige just from two items in the majority of our bases. That will go a long way toward upgrading.
3) How long would this process take you if you were to engage in this practice?
I'm more utilitarian toward bases with only simple decoration. It will take about an hour or two to upgrade one larger base.
4) What are the positive and negative concerns regarding repricing?
We hit a wall about 8 months ago. The current system has a wide divide for a smaller group after filling out a tiny plot to utilizing the next size up. The new system seems smoother in progression.
I don't see a negative at this time.
5) How will this feature affect you long term and short term?
Short term we will have more access to telepads and other items in all the bases. Long term I see base growth being more consistent without long periods of waiting.
Base Salvage Exchange to Invention Salvage
1) What is the negative effect on your base for this feature implementation?
Having to choose between outfitting a character or base building is going to be hard on everyone.
Theft is already issue. As invention salvage has worth to everyone not just base builders, I foresee an expanded problem.
Flippers now have access to more storage for another tool toward market control.
Random rolls are not always friendly (I see streakbreaker often in the combat window). I tested converting brainstorms into salvage for teleporters. For some it was fairly even but a few bad runs had me using more base salvage than I would under the current system.
2) What is the positive effect on your base for this feature implementation?
To be honest I've tried to find one but I can't. Perhaps my family's group will be able to store some salvage to fend off the flippers.
3) How long will it take you to adjust to learning this new system?
No time at all.
4) What side effects to this system do you currently see from transitioning the old to new system?
See the negatives above.
5) What security concerns do you have regarding this change?
Our moderate group was wiped out after I spent an afternoon converting all our salvage. The person was someone that had been with us for a while and we all trusted him. So I am gun shy on putting invention salvage in storage for anyone to pull. I could put down heavy restrictions. If so then why have enhancement bins and inspirations containers that only a few can access? I can't see members being willing to drop off salvage for strictly base use, especially without the right to change their minds after the act.
Additional Notes:
I really don't see the purpose behind the change in salvage. I have yet to encounter anyone that was confused about the difference in salvage. I think the tabs separating the salvage helped people decipher the difference. -
My son and I ran in Faultline last night. Overall I have to agree with all the positives already posted here.
We did have the Doc Delilah disappearing issue. It also took us about 30 minutes to find the first ruin that was in the Arachnos tunnels. The marker for the mission is very deceiving. It was in Overbrook and you could run silly around the cliffs and warwalls without ever seeing the tunnel entrance for the arachnos because of the war walls. I didn't give up, due to similar Bricktown experience, and finally found the tunnel on the dam side. There was nothing in the mission description to help someone that is completely unfamiliar with the zone.
We popped into the donut shop from our SG base too. Funny part was I had clicked on the door earlier hoping to find something inside. It must have been the lure of that giant donut. -
I state the obvious, you will be sorely missed.
Good luck with TR. -
I'm seeing this behavior with a variety of mobs, all bosses, in both CoH and CoV.
My lvl 42 tank, full health and end, fighting +2 Malta. Something hits me for 99% of my health and left me with all my toggles dropped. I did have full end so it wasn't a sapper dropping my toggles. No report in the combat window.
My 47 regen scrapper fighting a +1 knives of artemis boss with dull pain running for about +1000 health. Boss drops me to 99% health and toggles drop. No report in the combat window.
This has happened to my rad defender with a Freak Tank fully debuffed. The list goes on.
The only time I know it has happened to me in CoV was in beta but it was a Mook boss. I've suspected it of the Wardens but my main is a MM so I don't expect to know what is one shotting my Assault Bot.
Every time I am knocked to almost no health and any toggles running are dropped.
I have bugged each instance. Except for my tank. Until this post I started to accept the idea that phantom damage just happens. -

I just read the plaque in Eden last week about Galaxy Girl staying behind to hold off the Rikti and saving her best friend Ms. Liberty.
This is a good story, too, though.
And I could have sworn M-1 is referenced in-game as being a WWI hero, not WWII, but I could be mistaken. anyone else remember?

History geek chiming in here...
Hopefully M-1's name comes from WWII because the earliest reference I can find for M-1 that a hero would be named after is the M-1 Garand rifle which entered service in 1936, after WWI. If it's in reference to the tank, then we jump to the 1980s.
Now I have to make a trip to Galaxy tonight and look at the plaque.

Or the rifle was named for the hero -

How about MoG? -
At lvl 38 I just cleaned up an old lvl 30-35 arc. The greens and blues on these missions were giving me more misses than my regular missions on rugged. They never seemed to miss at all either.
I have noticed more misses with all of my toons. Many of them now have two acc SO's due to ED. I have actually been thinking of dropping the second one in each power so I can hit as often as I used too... -
My wife of 19 years plays with me as well as our 4 children.

Fear protection will be added to IH. Integration will be made mutually exclusive to IH due to the two offering too much status protection. Clicking DP or Recon will drop Integration.
Now that players are slotting Recon, Integration will be brought back to no heal. -
The main reason I try to keep liquids away while reading.

Thank you. Just started working on my warshade and it seems you have prevented a few pitfalls for me.
