"I'll be here until they shut the servers down."

I've read that many times over the years. From one person - "the game is dying!" or "the game is dead!". Then the response, "No it isn't. I'll be here until they shut the servers down."

I didn't really expect that I would be one of the people who would be here when they shut the servers down. But here I am. Here WE are. Looking at the last week of play.

Friday night I'll be logging Star in, somewhat late as I have a pen and paper game. I will stay on until midnight Pacific - until they shut the servers down.

Come play with me, if you can, or arrange for something earlier that evening, if you can't stay that late (early morning for many of you!). Don't let the game go without one last Rikti moshpit.

Huh. I never figured out the torches. I just memorized that it is the back one on the left.

The actual invasion starts Tuesday (May 1) after maintenance. It is part of the 8th Anniversary celebrations. I haven't seen an enddate announced yet.

She's throwing a punch in mid-air - that's going to cause some twisting of the torso.

The graphics in the new DA arcs and the zone re-vamp are awesome. Really, truly incredible. And then there is that pod thing from Mot that pops up and takes the ones that lose hope...

Seriously? A pod thing that pac-mans the hopeless? Why not use the gorgeous new darkness graphics to engulf people in darkness and vanish them? That would have been so much more appropriate, beautiful and unnerving.

Do you mean league and supergroup?

A League is basically a big team, more than 8 players, that is used for incarnate trials and zone events (Mothership Raid, Hamidon Raid) that require more than 8 players.

A Supergroup (or Villiangroup) is a group of characters with a base. You can have more than one character per player in the group. Some people have 'solo' supergroups where they are the only player with toons in the group. Some supergroups are themed, and may have uniform requirements, but that is up to the group.

If it follows the pattern of other reward tables, choosing nothing is a choice. You don't get a second chance.

Does the x4 reward merit still give 20 merits? I know it is not what you where hoping for, but it is also not completely useless.

Those are two of my favorite missions. Go into the big caves and destroy EVERYTHING! Ah well, to each their own...

Another thing to consider: each server has its own 'flavor'. If the server you have started on is not a comfortable and welcoming place to play, try another one!
