Do you mean league and supergroup?
A League is basically a big team, more than 8 players, that is used for incarnate trials and zone events (Mothership Raid, Hamidon Raid) that require more than 8 players.
A Supergroup (or Villiangroup) is a group of characters with a base. You can have more than one character per player in the group. Some people have 'solo' supergroups where they are the only player with toons in the group. Some supergroups are themed, and may have uniform requirements, but that is up to the group.
A supergroup is like a guild in other games, if that helps.
Free Players cannot join, however, Premium players (not subscribed but have paid money in the past in some form aka have 2+ rewards tokens) can.
Premium players cannot interact with the SG Registrar (In Atlas park and Port Oakes) at all - thus cannot form an SG, or Open, Edit, or pay rent on a Supergroup Base.

Ok i understand the team, have been in couple,
whats the difference between league and super league.
1. i made a super league, from what i gather.. when you make a super, you kinda get a new char ???
2. does everybody that joins the super. look the same ??? so you have to create a uniform of sort..
3. point me to a location of info on this subject..
4. can free players join the super league, i am vip
