I have all the Mo badges, so, I do know how not to rely on "temp" powers. The assumption of a "build fail" is more a lack of comprehension on your part as to the point that some of don't prefer to have those "temp" powers made unavailable without warning; not that we don't know how to get by without them.

So, I see your lrn2play and raise you with a lrn2read.

    Speed or Mo?

For some of the squishies, the "Temp Powers" are really permanent Vet Powers that do more damage than any of the primary attacks.

    Then there's no Assemble.

It is significant. Thus, it should be mentioned ahead of time.
  3. I think I remember Cool Iris and Windows Blinds were also incompatible, though that may have changed.

You should have purposely face planted right away and say, "Oh, did I forget to mention I was going for the Debt badge?"
  5. You know what would look neat? A coolie hat on a panda head!!!

And for those villains that like to leave clues in the form of... what's the word I'm looking for? Puzzles? Ah, brain teasers. Just like the famous Brain Teasler.

The chosen ones arc is still there. But we're treated more like VIPs because of it rather than lapdogs.

    Longer Bios

Playernotes gives you close to twice the amount of space. I duplicated the same paragraph until I ran out of space for comparison:

    creative help

You can use either Energy, Radiation, or Pyschic blast and make each attack a different color (and chose the alternative animations that come from the hands).

You could also use Dark Blast if you don't mind a screaming skull as your spray can 'nozzle'.

If only you read it, you can put as much as you want in a playernote about yourself.

Playernotes are a great place to put in-game 'sticky notes' for yourself since they don't have to use a valid character name. If it is a valid character name, the game links the note to the player's global info. If it isn't a valid character name, it's just a text file you can read and edit anytime.

    Longer Bios

    For whom is the bio?

When I pull up someone's info in-game, I don't have the time (nor the inclination, tbh) to read anything I have to scroll.

When it's back online in a few days, the Ouroboros Portal is a place to put up lengthy character bios, pics, stories, etc.... Put a link to it in the in-game bio space.
  14. Zone PvP as implemented in CoH was one of the stupidest things ever.

It's like setting up a boxing match where anyone can enter. I mean 'enter' literally, not as in 'sign up for.' People from the stands can jump the ropes. A ladies' sodality hop in to set up a game of bridge. Homeless people wandering in. A racist serial killer. Everyone in the ring and hope a good fight ensues.

It'll take more than bounty in each zone to make it worthwhile.

Yeah, that's one of the little features of the forums that can make searching for certain things difficult, curse the commonness of TLAs!
Not only do words need to be 4 letters or more, but the index is just full space-delimited words. No partial matches.

We did at this past week's Ustream coffee chat. They're working on it.

I'm guessing that Paragon Studios relies on NCSoft parent web services to make and maintain the copy tool. And NCSoft West is having some problems at this time. More than likely, they don't have a 'guy' to make it happen.

  18. No... they need to *reboot* X-Men:FC so that the protagonists come into their own during Woodstock.

    League Content?

    Events that require League:
    • All the Incarnate Trials (BAF, Lambda, Keyes, UG, and the two on Beta: TPN and MoM).
    • Death From Below sewers trial
    • Halloween Haunted House Trial
    • Lord of Winter's Realm (last year's multi-team event which will now be through the LFG Team up Teleporter)

Multi-Team Events that benefit from the League-ing the teams:
    • The Cathedral of Pain Trial
    • Hami Raids
    • MotherShip Raids
    • Deadly Apocalypse (the Halloween 'banners' event)
    • Zone Invasions: zombies, riktis, Giant Monster hunts, and whatever Dev/CommunityMod run events

And any large-group social event, like costume contests for an easy way to see who's involved and a make-shift communications channel.

I recommend editing your OP with large bold letters.

I agree. The closing down of Paragonwiki is truly a sad, sad thing. We'll miss it.
  22. The Winter Event this year *has no new content*.

The one and only 'forced-teaming' part of the Winter Event, a mini-trial that was originally made for multiple teams, remains a multi-team mini-trial. It's access interface was changed. That is all.

The ski slopes and opening gifts and Snap Tooth and Lady Winter are all still solo aspects of the Winter Event.

The balance of team-gated v. solo content has not changed this year from last.
