I think the GM's are jumping the gun on that response. However that being said, if you don't log into the game at least once a month (30 days), chances are you were auto-kicked due to the channel time-out that is in place on Triumph Watch 2.0.
The reason for the auto-kick is due to the number of inactive accounts clogging up the channel. When the auto-kick was first activated the channel went from 2,400 accounts to under 1,000. This saved yet another migration to a new channel. I only wish I was still a moderator on the original "Triumph Watch" channel to fix that for everyone. -

Actually I accessed beta with an account that I rarely use and got the NDA window this morning on the first access to the beta server (past the login server).

There are some steep learning curves on some of the Trials (mainly the Incarnate trials, level 50+). Otherwise increase your difficulty settings.
See this paragonwiki article about it:

Quote:Give it a day or so. Sometimes access is delayed. If you have just resubscribed, it could take 2-3 days before the account has access. I'm not saying that it is what you are seeing, but it is a possibility.I'm still getting the "public access to this server has been disabled" message. The same message I got every time I tried to log in yesterday. Obviously, people have been getting into the game, so does anyone know how to solve this problem?
Additionally there was a major malfunction with the market, as Zwillinger said above.

Quote:At the time of the posts above you, players didn't have access to the VIP beta forums. That should have been put in place in the morning, WELL BEFORE the VIP Beta was opened, not HOURS AFTER.ATTENTION
Regarding Beta...
If you accept the EULA, then pick the Beta server then you will be presented with an NDA to accept.
You accept this before getting any further, so be aware, as these are the public forums...
Seeing that they didn't have VIP access in game, there wasn't a way to make a /BUG report either.
So how the heck were people to report this?
Edit:
Given the numerous threads all over the the forums (especially the City Life section), I don't think you or the developers have any hope in enforcing the NDA at this point. -
Apparently my concerns about a receipt seem to be partially unfounded. My concern about getting a lot of emails from the market seems to be dead on though.
I'm still disappointed that they didn't think a history should have been included with release. -

Quote:I did, still seeing things NOT unlocked that should be. For instance, character slots.Hey folks just got in games heads up!!:
[Admin] NCsoft_ServerGuy: Store is reloading now. You will have to relog before everything works.
Alright Folks We have GREEN for Go, I Repeated We have GREEN for Go! Paragon Market is up & Running, People with Access issues check now.
I should have:- 2 for the initial bonus for Issue 12.
- 2 for owning Going Rogue: Complete Collection.
- 6 for veteran rewards.
- 10 purchased (yes, purchased in May) character slots.
- 2 Global slots
- 13 character slots total, which includes the global slots.
Incarnate access IS store/account server dependent. That would lead me to believe that at least some access is revoked. I wouldn't be surprised that the VIP server will not be accessible when the store is offline.Quote:Since some things seemed to be "sticky" and other things seemed to be lost, I'm still holding out hope that things revoked when the store went down are more of a beta glitch than a preview of what a live store outage would do. But I'm still concerned either way. -
Yeah, the point is you can't plan for that. The only thing you can do is try to have the downtime to as small as possible.
Are you reading the image the same as I am?Quote:If that's how it's going to work on my VIP stuff (stuff that isn't supposed to be getting taken away), I'll be rethinking my subscription as (if the current store server is any indicator), the market and rewards servers will be down 50-75% of the time.
Some of my stuff (controllers) I could access because I had sufficient veteran reward status. Some of the stuff I had already unlocked on my character (incarnate costume pieces).Quote:If the store/account server is down you may lose the following:- Inability to access unlocked account features.
- Inability to access store or recent purchases.
- Paragon Rewards may not be up to date and cannot spend Paragon Reward Tokens.
- Cannot claim vouchers and certificates.
It looks like most of my booster packs are valid, but some oddities:
As soon as I accessed my tips window I got my Rogue status back.
Still don't have my Incarnate powers.
The new/classic team UI window pops up every time I zone.
And I lost 3 salvage capacity (on live, due to a reported bug I have 95 salvage capacity), this drops me to 92 salvage. -
Quote:It seems to be a mixed bag. The store is not reflecting my previously unlocked items/expansions. It did recognise my Veteran Rewards status, so some of my info was already unlocked, but not everything.I had thought that account and character unlocks were "sticky" in that they required the account server and the store to be online at the moment of purchase, but they did not need to be up continuously for that stuff to be constantly validated. That may still be true and this is just beta stuff involving one-time prevalidation scripts for beta testers.
What has been unlocked seems to vary depending on the item in question.Quote:But if its true that the store actually has to be up constantly and if its not all or even many unlockables can disappear because they cannot be validated, that's asking for trouble.
Edit:

Quote:I have the feeling that they didn't test premium access very well. That's why they do the beta test: to work out these kind of problems.

I know, for a fact, that the store server goes down on the LIVE servers on a semi-regular basis. That isn't related to the beta access. -
You can. Click on the two arrows inside the league window and you'll see all the league. In the bottom corner there are two arrows to expand the league window. You can also grab the bottom right corner to stretch the league window.

Quote:Right now it can't even tell what expansions are tied to the account, so my rogues (that I copied last night) are villains, my vigilantes are heroes, and I don't have access to side switching even though I have Going Rogue: Complete Collection on both of my accounts. We're experiencing some issues that are affecting the Paragon Market, the Paragon Rewards Program and VIP status. Please bear with us as we work to resolve this.
Thanks!
Which brings me to a very ugly thought about this going live.
If the store goes down, as it does many times in a year, players will lose access not just to any unfilled character slots, but a whole host of other "services":
Expansion access players paid for (Good Vs. Evil, Architect Edition, Going Rogue, Going Rogue: Complete Collection).
Archetypes players unlocked (if they haven't unlocked tier 5).
Incarnate system.
And that is just scratching the surface. -
Quote:Actually that is currently possible thanks to the account server being broken. A lot of accounts are flagged "premium" at the moment, you can't access the ingame store, all incarnate access is disabled, you can't assign Paragon Rewards, all your character slots are locked, etc. The list goes on.That said, the VIP beta seems to be for only active subscribers. Will there be any way for an active subscriber to beta with a 'F2P' account?

And it occurs to me that running a programme like this is bound to create an enormous amount of popular publicity for the whole area of philosophy in general. Everyone's going to have their own theories about what answer the game will eventually to come up with, and who better to capitalize on that media market than Positron and Dr. Aeon? So long as they can keep disagreeing with each other violently enough and slagging each other off in the popular press, they can keep themselves on the gravy train for life. How does that sound?

Quote:There was a thread on the logitech keyboards a while back where there were pictures:Since we get some gear talk here and folks might be interested-
I used to use the old Logitech G15 (v1) - loved that thing. 18 macro keys, responsive - only downside was its size. The v2, of course, gutted the number of keys.
Well, I got an email about a sale from logitech, and since there were a few things I'm looking at (wheel for racing games, maybe a side keypad or a mouse,) I went to the site... and kicked myself for not paying attention. They now have a G-510, which is back to the 18 macro keys from the v1, plus the (fixed, but bright) LCD display from the V2. Not sure where it sits size wise. But I am *really* tempted....
(Right now, my old G15 is sitting off to the side, as it was hooked up to another PC. I'm using a G110 - no LCD, but 12 G-keys which, admittedly, I don't use to the fullest atm.)

There is an alternate key layout in this pictorial history of the G-Series keyboards:

For the most part the same set up for the Logitech G15 should work for the G13. Here are a few guides to help you get started:Quote:So what are some of the cool things you do with all those macro keys

I should note that you can assign your G-Keys to things like Shift+Num0 and then use /bind shift+numpad0 <commands> to personalize for each character. -
