Try to slot your purples. One set would have costed me 100m for all 45 pieces of Rare Salvages alone. I was slotting 5/6. That's worth a whole purple set on it's own...
It's these friggin' morons, who think there marketeers or "ebil" whatever the hell that is, who are spiking the prices.

That site is awful.

Let's face it, since Europe got shut down, they couldn't care a rat's as*. In fact, I challenge them to even bother opening this sub-forum.

PM me the Mid's import code, please, and I'll have a look. I don't really help with builds unless I can tear them apart on Mid's! Don't worry if not, it's cool.

If we all lived back in Pangea, we wouldn't have this problem.

I like this guy ^^
(Quick replies, I'm at uni and bored as hell.)

I was hoping for a quick reply so I could expand and explain what I mean. If you somehow divulged that I was insinuating some sort of NA vs EU, then I must correct you because I was not. I welcome and would relish to play alongside NA-players, the more the merrier.
Your point about it being a silly idea, of course that is your opinion and while I don't want to debate that with you you hit the nail. Your point combines mine, look where it has got us, do you understand my, and our, predicament? When the NA servers went online and they opened EU later, EU players had to transfer subscription, but simply the subscription. Can you imagine being told after several years you have to move to NA, and lose all your effort?
Fury -
Carnifax got it right again.
None of them are getting my money until someone other than a representative acknowledges our presence, and then does something about it. It's a shame, quite a lot of EU players have got GR and if this incompetence, which is a friggin' compliment for you guys right now, continues and they don't server (EDIT*) list merge or transfer accounts there going to be bombarded with the Luftwaffe.
*-Lady Arete.
I know something from the old EU forums, and that's if there's a point to make we'll friggin' make it.

Just the right amount of effort isn't it to arrive at:
EPIC PHAIL.

Quote:Just noticed this thread, the same debate occurred in a very popular channel in the EU server Union not long ago. At first it was competition, but were still above it all after latest releases. We did however all agree inflation is rife, and PvP is well Lawl.I see a lot of repeated suggestions and complaints, but I'm curious: What do you think the most important problems with the game are right now?
Personal answers:
Unnecessarily clunky team formation
Lack of supply and excess inflation on markets, especially Red
Lack of PvP support (distant third place, though)
The sad thing was while we could nit-pick and find problems with the game, all of us here on the unsafe side of the pool, settled on the fact we know our future is very bleak. Before any of you accuse me of whining, moaning, whatever, don't even bother it's not even funny anymore. Countless numbers of us have made formal and indeed informal complaints about our future.
My personal answer? As well as probably speaking for the general population of EU subscribers, please count yourself out if not:
Ignorance.

If anyone in this game charges you any form of currency, be it in-game currency or real, your doing something wrong.
Point in hand, never pay for something. There's far too many people in this game that are very friendly and helpful, at least this side of the pond anyway.

The only other concern that fuels my worry is that when 'Passport' was offered, a whole clean slate was required. Nothing carried over.

Same as Dr_HR, not much I can add but welcome!
And if you wish to become more interactive via channels:
->Right click your chat box, anywhere will do.
->Click 'Channel Search', and then click the members tab to retrieve the most popular.
->There are various ones namely: 'Union Badgehunters';'Sals Badgehunters' & 'Union Task Forces', all of which you should find people!
If you create a new character you will need to manually add these channels again to your character's "Chat Tab":
->Right click your chat box, anywhere will do.
->Click 'Edit Tab', and search for your particular channel, then click 'Add' and that's you!
Enjoy Union!

Quote:Such a delightful derision to be given, thanks!Your face is.
Lose respect all you want, but that's subjective to say it's ridiculous. I lose respect for those that think "they're way of playing the game" is the ONLY way to play it. Get real. It's a damn game. Get over it.
You completely misinterpreted my point, I farm too and I was not disputing PL;farming; RPing;PvP any type of gameplay whatever you name it, is the only way to play - were you even reading my post?
I was stating that AE is already easy enough as it is, and that DXP would as I said be ridiculous.
P.S Your face is noob? Wow! Such stupendous subjectiveness!
Fury -
It's already ridiculous enough as it is, I've witnessed 4 hour 50's or less whatever, I just lose respect for that to be honest it's pointless. If you need DXP & AE to actually PL your a noob.
Fury -
Quote:To answer you both, what with DXP arriving and obviously more people playing; farming; etc, then the influx of players will mean more recipes selling at already inflated prices - due to previous interactions and "marketing" therefore the influx of infamy/influence will mean people will buy them at those stupid prices. This just continues like one big long train, until someone genuine tries to deflate them back to the original price which is unfortunately at times financially-breaking.Same heroside. I've been hoarding a specific recipe that I bought for 1 million each during the last few weeks -- it already shot up to 50 million. It probably would go higher, but I'll content myself with turning 100 million influence into 4 billion.
That's the basic problem, the basic marketeers selling something look at the last 5 prices and go "oo I'll be smart and add 1 to the last value", which seems to be the FoTM for marketing at the moment, well done guide makers! This means that the next chap thinks it's much dearer and add's any % of the original value on top of it, and this climbs. Back to your surprise, I noticed it slightly a week ago with the salvages, common and uncommon rose to 500,000 and above, sky-rocketing at one point.

Quote:How unsurprising.according to the world clock links, it shouldnt be activated for a while... both of them display 2 different times so who knows
Edit: Base upon the world clock times linked from Avatea
Time is fixed on Thursday, 4 March 2010 at 8:59 a.m. London time, DBL XP should of started 2 hours ago.
Time is fixed on Thursday, 4 March 2010 at 8:59 a.m. San Francisco time, DBL XP wont start for another 6 hours
I'm gonna put my money on it wont start for another 6 hours

Quote:When was the last time a non-liason member of staff spoke to us, without having to be forcibly confronted which isn't even needed. The EU situation has been on the cards for a long time, a response is incredibly unlikely. It's such a shame that all we need is a small assurance, or a small notion that they are aware of the situation, and yet it is met with difficulty. This is not to be confused with Avatea's post earlier, since again all due respect I've heard that excuse far too many times now. Please don't believe this is an attack on Avatea, it is not, it is simply the handling of the situation.still no message from a red name when asked but they replied about an i17 beta question i think this thread is just being ignored
It is not so much that I personally want a red-name to clarify the situation, since I believe sifting through the many sub-sections for relevance is the representative's job, but I read somewhere the EU site is several hours, days to a point behind in news from the NA (Don't quote me on that). As well as this there is the EU updater problem which is pretty much embarrassing and simply adds oxygen to the fire. And the lack of marketing, agreeably it is not cost-effective, but the principle in not even telling us why nor even including us in the picture is appalling, a notion at minimum us subscribers should be given.
I don't want to go to the NA servers simply because I've spent 4 years EU-side, and frankly it's disgraceful if I'm forced to go there. Albeit the population is in decline, it's hardly credible to blame it on EU lacking interest in the game when gradually EU has been reduced to but a few pieces of hardware. Again, this is not full on their fault however a bit more careful handling would have calmed us down. At the moment if this inertia the developers have of offering bewildering blindness to us continues, we will be forced unto the NA servers - transferring being unlikely.
I've seen this house burn down too frequently to bother too much about it anymore, I amongst others wouldn't be surprised if the EU was shut-down and restarting all over again on NA is the best option.
Fury -
As much as it pains me to say, were all going to have to follow Rent either willfully or out of lack of options.
In my opinion, they will wait until the population for the 4 EU-side servers will decline to such a state it would be favorable to simply discard them. This is inevitable due to the population decline, which is on par their fault to a degree. At this stage, they will either offer some sort of transfer mechanism to NA, unlikely given our own treatment anyway, or they'll simply say move to NA to continue the game - meaning a whole unwarranted but required fresh start to simply keep playing.

Nice dog SS!
Someone's been watching too much 'Wallace and Gromit' however, and not the dog!

I can understand, that for some of the enthusiasts among us, no physical possession of an addition to their favourite game - in contrast to stock NA-side - can be quite agitating. However looking at the whole spectrum they are probably running some sort of risk-management, I doubt the release of 'Going Rogue' would generate numbers suffice to say that it was appropriate to do so. A digital 'copy' reduces the potential financial failure of release on this side significantly, in fact I wouldn't be surprised if the server to download it from is based in NA, hence I think it's probably a risk-management conclusion. I'm afraid we have to be a little brutal in honesty, our numbers are dwindling however slowly but surely, so there is no surprise but I do agree with concerns posted above.
I do understand that the principle behind this is entirely wrong, there has been no correspondence and explanation nor reasoning for this, which would in my opinion would be enough to warrant us to back off. Fair enough Avatea has, with all due respect, baited us to fend off our rants for a while, it's not the same. I'm not requesting a direct correspondence or an immediate response, however I welcome it, but I honestly can not remember the last time we were bothered about.
The sheer ignorance we are being awarded is frankly beyond insulting. Both parties, I am a EU-user, know this has been going on for further than it should and unfortunately I think we know where it's heading. Several fellow subscribers and I have discussed the situation, and sadly we all seem to at least conclude that it's inevitable were going sometime, not any time soon clearly nor within this year but D00m is unavoidable. Since I'm discussing slightly off-topic I'll stop at that. The fantastic thing is, I'm not being bitter just extremely disappointed and agitated.
Back to the author's point, I suppose the fact we didn't get the 'Mission Architect Box' either, someone clarify please I can't remember, should have been a forewarning on what else was to come.
P.S Anyone who complains of us being victimized can go "P1ss off". I'm fed up of that already.
Also, I've had to FIX my updater literally more than 7 times in the past 3 days. Good ol' EU treatment.

I agree with _damz the Bronze rolls are at a silly ticket price. If you can accumulate a lot of tickets, your best pay-off is level 50 bronze rolls. You can get quite a lot of value for the drops, and unless your "gaining" lots of tickets at an incredible amount of time I'd advise bronze rolls too. Otherwise, try your luck with Gold. Ye never know.
With the amounts of bronze you could get, sell on WW/BM, you could probably buy that proc' instead.

Mids has probably changed the way people play CoX more than anything else, thanks!
[/ QUOTE ]How so? There were other planners before it, Mids' is just the newest one in the line. Of course it's much improved over the previous ones, but it's not that revolutionary as a concept.

Talk about killing it. Jeez..
Sorry to see your no longer hands-on with the designer, probably the best I've used! Top notch work though, allowed thousands possibly to create their future toon.
Hope you still stick around my friend!

Sorry, I don't know what you mean? What do you mean "Is it permitted"?
Gog.com is a proper licensed reseller of old game, it's not a pirate site or anything if that's what you mean.

Cleared it up, thanks Carnifax. Sorry I was just curious.
