Okay so recently, respecs had help text added, so that it tells you your "respec level" while respecing.
This is helpful, but I personally found it a bit unclear at first.
For instance, it says "CURRENT RESPEC LEVEL: 7" when you are choosing powers for level 8. From a purely logical point of view, this does make some kind of sense, but throw in the fact that you choose powers and slots separately for respecing, and it can be a bit confusing.
I suggest giving us a new option to change the language of the respec level indicator.
Instead of how it works now, I would like the option for it to instead say something like "CHOOSING POWER FOR LEVEL: 8" or "CHOOSING SLOTS FOR LEVEL: 9". -
I roleplay as well, and it makes it almost impossible to say anything other than "it takes place right now".

Playing CoH.
It's fun and there's absolutely nothing rewarding about it from a real world perspective. It's a complete waste of time. -
I no longer think my dreams are all that ****** up.
-
What I hate about this change is the NOISE.
Mystic Fortune makes a repeating, annoying noise every 3-5 seconds for TWENTY MINUTES and there is nothing I can do about it if I want to keep my sound on.. which I do. -
This is ******* AWESOME.

My huntsman build is Marshal DiCosta.

I'm the only one who thinks this is stupid?

Quote:Ugh. You noob.This is an interesting one. So I'm running around Sharkdead Island with my shiny new Demons Mastermind, minding my own business, when some odd person whose name ends on a question mark calls me up via tell. We have the following conversation:
[Tell] Guy?: would u like some mega xp?
[Tell] -->Guy?: No, thank you.
[Tell] Guy?: lol u turn down xp?!
[Tell] -->Guy?: Precisely.
[Tell] Guy?: u must be a noob nm lol
[Tell] -->Guy?: *Polishes 66 month badge* Ayup!
[Tell] Guy?: 66 vet and ur still a noob shame
So, there you have it, folks. The big news for today - I'm a noob. And here I always thought I was just a garden variety idiot. The more you know, I guess.
*edit*
I'm ashamed I got my veteran badges wrong, by the way. I just checked, and the last one I have is 69. -

My arc "The Assault on Aru Prime" is pure, unrepentant EVIL on a very large and horrible scale. I don't have the arc ID with me, but just search my name "Aisynia".
-
Well the AE text editor is just generally very bad.

Quote:Yeah, stars are stupid, even YouTube migrated to thumbs up/thumbs down.Second, I would make the default sort order by "hotness", this being a function of time since the arc was posted, time since the arc was last played, total number of plays, number of positive ratings, and number of negative ratings. Examples of these sort algorithms are available; the particulars should be tweaked to meet the needs of the MA. The goal is to keep good fresh content on the top of the list.
Quote:Finally, I would ditch DC/HoF as it currently functions. Any mechanism that requires that arcs be frozen against editing in a system that is frequently updated in a way that requires editing arcs to make them functional is simply not going to work. Instead, award authors a badge and a free arc slot for getting a certain number of positive ratings on an arc, but don't lock the arc, and don't stick it on top of the default listing forever.
I think DC is fine how it is, I think the search function and default searching and the entire interface is .. just backwards. I wouldn't be against the common suggestion that DC, HoF, and Guest Authors be moved to their own tab in the UI, but that doesn't actually solve any problems. Fixinf the ratings system, as mentioned above, needs to be first priority. It is horribly broken.
As for a badge and an extra slot. We DO get an extra slot. On top of that, we HAD a badge.. you know, one we actually earned through talent and hard work. People whined en masse and took it away. -

This is the first time I've really logged in to play since I17 came out, so I am going through the new villain arcs on my 50 Elec/Nin Stalker.
In the third mission (I believe) of the first arc, you have to confront Ajax on Liberty Island. The psychic projector thingies don't work, so you have to destroy all 4 of them, which should make Ajax vulnerable.
I destroyed them all in turn as they came up as waypoints, then the "Defeat Ajax!" objective comes up.
Well, I AS'd him and took out a decent portion of his HP, perhaps 25% (yellow boss, must have a lot of HP or Res).
After that, while I am attacking him, I am getting damage numbers over his head, but I'm not actually hurting him. Eventually he regenerated to full HP and is not taking any damage at ALL, no matter what I do.
Is this a bug, or am I doing it wrong?
