    3) Let people buy purples and levels with real money.

This just might kill multiple birds with one stone. People who want to speed-level get that option while COX makes a little money and those annoying "inf for cash" guys will get shut out by legitimate means.

See the Cavern of Trancendance mission in the Hollows.

Sounds good except for the part where I checked ParagonWiki and it said that this path is for a Magic origin contact and I'm a Natural

Actually, what I hope the Devs would realize is that we need more missions objectives both in the MA/AE and in the normal in-game content!

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Yes.

I was surprised that there's no kinds of mission with switches that need toggling for doors/bridges/traps and would help add to the teamwork aspect.
  4. How exactly do the two Flight powers work on custom MA enemies? I'm contemplating some ideas of some things to experiment with but don't have the time to check for myself at the moment. Has anyone even SEEN custom enemies with flying abilities?
  5. This would be very helpful in at least testing out things like spawns that would generally be inconsistant on a normal playthrough.
  6. I'd say that while the hero's heart is in the right place, it sounds like the mission would make more sense to be listed as villianous OR listed as neutral with the explanation of what's going on.
  7. I'd argue that if done as a power pack, it should be just one or two animals and the majority of the pack should be new costume pieces. I can only base it off the Cyborg pack but the power you gain is not slottable and lacks the ability to upgrade in any form. The sheer act of making it able to accept enhancements in addition to whatever your other powers are will be quite powerful.

So, a power pack would be really nice to augment pre established builds while a brand new Mastermind power could be far more flexible in it's own right. Something to keep in mind is that it doesn't have to be the exact same 3-2-1 minion unlock set as the rest of MM if they do a Beastmaster. They could mix things up like doing 4 wolves, 1 hawk, and 1 tiger with the hawk not being better or worse than the others but rather having entirely different uses/utility since it can fly.
  8. The ability to zero star something has to go...
  9. The fact that it's Paragon/Rogue Isles doesn't seem to be the main problem in my opinion. The main problem is the need for more unique and original maps as opposed to copies of maps that already exist.

That said, I'd like to see a restaurant, a grocery store, a tropical island, and an open desert.

Third I don't see why a novice hero and amateur villain would want to team together. They are going down complete different paths and they want to team?

    [/ QUOTE ]

If they know each other then it makes sense. Friends who have taken different paths in life decide to make amends.
  11. If you unlock the costume pieces elsewhere, will you still have to buy them in the MA? If not, which MA costume pieces can not be unlocked elsewhere so I can spend my tickets on those?
  12. @Mizzer: Sounds like your husband is a lucky man. Technically, you can leave the unpublished arc on his hard drive and it'll act as one of his local stories. Just make sure you copy over the Mission, CustomCritter, and CustomVillainGroup folders. I've been copy/pasting one of my arcs back and forth on a thumb drive so I can work on it at home and on campus.

As far as the main conversation, my upcoming arc is based on one of my characters. However, the character is never mentioned by name so that it properly fits the player's character. It allows me to make the player important yet have a story mission that actually involves two of my characters.
  13. Looks good, though you may want to add in a few ladies since the normal Longbow NPCs have a few females mixed in. I don't know how much space this would use though.
  14. @Son_Of_Liberty: That's a prety novel concept. Technically, they could tie it into the character origins so that the Science guy could hack the computer and the Mutant fights off an enemy raid, etc

I would even accept certain limits on the xp and how it is gained, say half xp for the mobs and then when you actually finish the arc you get bonus xp equal to what you earned. This would make players actually finish the stories instead of abandoning them. You could also cap the amount of XP based on Length of Mission, Difficulty Level and computed "Challenge Rating" of the mission, and which mission number it is in the arc (first mission doesn't give out as much as the second and so on). I would also be fine if they added XP debt into the MA system which is the single biggest reason in my mind for playing even crappy arcs because there is no risk involved

    THIS

While XP shouldn't be removed entirely, these limits should have been in place from the start. It would even allow some form of power leveling without it being gamebreaking.
  16. This may seem like an amateur question but why is a 0 star even possible? Not how but WHY? I can understand 1 star but a 0 star seems too abusable (as shown by the previously stated math).
  17. This would make sense and would add a lot to some missions, especially since we currently lack cutscene control.

    Restaurant Map

Does anyone know of a good map that involves a restaurant? I'm new to the game so the only thing I've found is the Lucky Six under the Unique Maps -> Casino. Technically it isn't bad with the exception of the fact that the restaurant portion is on the other side of the map (well, and the fact that it's exceptionally small but I'm fine with that).
  19. Definitely good information. I'll keep it in mind.
