The Winter Event will most assuredly begin on the date I mentioned in that other thread.

Child Protection Services can take him away if you keep exposing him to Freedom Server.

Quote:Just heard yesterday a three year old sing: "Dan we now okay apparel fa la la la la la la la la."Gay used to mean Happy. Know anyone who uses it that way? Neither do I. That's a change that occurred just within the past few decades.
Quote:Decimate? The only place I've ever seen it used in its original context was an SM Stirling novel.
The original meaning of the word is dead. Long live the meaning of the word. -
Quote:No, the Attuned SBEs do *not* adjust by level exemplaring down. Instead, they are subject to Enhancement Exemplar Scaling. They do adjust as you level up.AFAIK, all the 'shop bought' are attuned - which means they are always equal to your playing level. So if exemp'd for a task force, they adjust with you. If you sk up for a task force, they adjust up with you.
It could easily be argued that they are superior to crafted versions.
They have the advantage:
- Leveling up with you
- Keeping Set Bonuses down to their minimum level minus 3.
They have the disadvantage:
- Can not be boosted with Enhancement Boosters.
- They are Account Bound
- Second builds built specifically for an exemplared level will still be stronger than a build with Attuned Sets since they can six slot all their low level powers, while a mixed-level toon still needs to spread out their enhancements.

Quote:Or a color in between the two skins that, while not invisible, is equally difficult to read and thus equally easy to avoid reading until highlighted....When you want to talk about things that could spoil something for others, you can easily hide it (that is, if the thread title itself isn´t a spoiler).
Highlight to read:
Use the color #364D5D and your text will be invisible until marked... as you´ve just seen for yourself
Hmm, maybe I should re-post this in the Quick n Dirty Tips thread, to make it easier to find.
Just use [ color:"#423750"]Your spoiler text here.[ /color]
But, without that space after the bracket. It will look like this...
Your spoiler text here.
... and be much easier to read when highlighted (click and drag your cursor over the text). -
You'd have better luck just using Incandescence at the 2 second mark far from the AV. This way, the rings will form far from the AV as the players rush back at it.

Quote:Nope, not the first time: What aura is this?Three things:
- Nobody's accusing him of lying. But this is apparently the first anyone's heard of an "old" Omega aura,
It's an old version of the Omega Aura. -

Magical girls?
Fully tintable halos this Winter Event.
Done. -
There is gender switching on command. As well as transforming into a mecha suit.
-
'Singular they' has been in constant use in English for hundreds of years even despite widespread attempts to suppress it by Victorian grammarians who attempted to strictly apply the rules of gender and number agreement of Latin onto English (all the while ignoring that 'you' took on both a singular and plural meaning over time).
But, I guess, to each their own. -

Based on the turnover of Devs and the Ascendency of Production, it would be unwise to go back more than 3 years for past data that would be predictive of the future. Besides, human beings are set by default to do-what-we-did-last-year, barring some extraordinary schedule altering event.

I found one of those once and it could hardly fly me anywhere.

I know they had a backlog of them waiting for Freedom to go Live so they would have 'stock' to release over time.
Let's see once they exhaust that stock if they can continue to keep up the pace.
New power sets are *very* resource intensive with art, animation, FX, powers, and QA. -
You can test it out on Beta. I've never seen a IO stay the same.

Quote:Oh, look. Venture dismissed something as a Trope again. They show up...again...in the latest SSA installment. They're getting shilled right along with the other Wesleys (Desdemona and Maelstrom).

Quote:Because when you're the New York Pancaking Times, you can do weird waffles like this. Oh.. to be that mirror.Oh, I got them, Hestis... I just don't get... this. But that's ok. It's just weirdness being done for the sake of the word 'because.'

Quote:Interesting, so, do you think the original blurb meant that Titan Weapons reduce the quantity of one's foes by a certain percentage, or, that Titan Weapons merely seriously injure them?I find it interesting that the American Heritage panel disagrees with you. The majority of them seemed to object less to the quantity of destruction, and more to whether the destruction was killing or not. According to the quote, 66% were willing to accept the usage when a far larger number other than 10% was killed, but only 26% were willing to accept the usage when it referred to non-human death, such as property damage.
I don't think I would agree with the panel, but it does seem that there are two foci to the term: whether it refers to some acceptable range of fraction, and whether it refers to people specifically.
