  1. firstly if my post gave you the idea (or infact i said it) that yours hasent got validity i am sorry i was just saying it from the way i see it. and my stalker is solo/duo only i rarley team with other stalkers and if i do its usually not on me stalker

    [/ QUOTE ] The stop X from escaping Mishs are easy to fail if your not EM/ as you have no way of stopping them from running away. There is mish from a contact in Grandville where you have to stop an EB from escaping. Took 2 domies in domination to stop him. A boss is easier, but then if your EM/ so is everything. The rest of the primaries dont have this luxury.

    yea i said i would have problems with EBs would have to be a case of caltrops and /mako tornado thingy (hmmm) but as you have said only my build could do this and i sence a note of anamosity towards em/nin let me put your mind at ease i 90% solo and 0% PvP i did not build this char to be uber i built it because it sounded the best when i started to make it (a week after CoV was released)

    i think the real point i am making is that your PoV is abit biased toawards your expeirences (well obviously) there are many other ways stalkers (purhaps your right and its only em/nin) can be played

    i dunno many occasions when its better to take out minionsbefore bosses (only ones that comes to mind is sappers or when fighting those boss ilusionists that intange every 10 secs)
    bosses have much higher acc therfore knock you out of as/hide alot more

    this i really dont think is right during a big fightt (6 + mobs) i definetly get 2 AS if not 3 placating not only hides you but once your back in hide you get the awesome def of your hide power which makes it really hard for you to be hit and with /ninjitsu you got a PBAoE placate which yea dont hide you but it does stop them atacking you
    which is when you need to be careful about your fiend's aggro :P

    Learn how a stalker interacts with other Archetypes. Another Stalker is a great companion. Double AS is a truly awesome thing to behold. Masterminds provide great cover. Dominators provide holds and control. Brutes and corrupters are rarely good duo partners. A Brute is a sledgehammer, a Stalker is a scalpel. It can work, but be prepared for the fast pace. Duos with a Corrupter often end with a dead Corrupter. If you want a Corrupter, try getting a larger team together, so they have someone to look after them.

    my stalker (level 46) is best in a duo with brutes the brute takes alpha 10 seconds later the mob is dead if its a big mob then the brute now has full fury and can hit for twice as much as me for the last few enemies (dont try that with ralaruu...)

Its easily doable but it would be easier going hasten/ss (or IR.hasten) than hover and fly its not the amount of end recovered by trans its the amount of end used between attacks thats why some trollers have problems (fire, grav, mind are the worst) i never took stamina with my ill/kin troller till respec at level 50 and planning on doing the same with my AS/kin cor.

    Problem is that it doesn't allow. I have even empty teleport room and I can't place it there. It's all red, in hole room.

    no limit but the 2x2 room is a very tough squeeze when i had that room i could only fit them in 1 way and no others (even tho the room is symetical?)

    the hard part is trying to fit the biggest tp room into smallest base size (solo sg but i got alot!! of pres:P) rather not upgrade and pay rent :P

  12. an 8 dom lrsf team pwns all (couple with medicen pool) level 50 mez protection is nothing to all those doms and damage altho poor aint that bad especcially with all the pets running amoke and confusing the heroes really helps

    Chilling embrace does not allow you to see a stalker, it's one of the armours which has +percep
    Stealthed stalkers with grant invis won't be seen from a distance no matter how many yellows/+percep powrs u use. You can only see them in melee distance when at perception cap.
    Group invis does NOT stack with other powers from the concealment pool. Only stalkers can have stacked invis powers.
    Pets perception is worse than the player, at least that is for sure on a troller, can't speak about MMs.
    I don't really agree with the tactic of 'survive the AS strike and stack 4 holds before he escapes', and it's not something that 'most ATs' can do anyway. In fact, no AT can do that on his own vs. a proper stalker in the zones.

    Is it just me or is Sirens all very one sided for Stalkers now. It seems to me he who moans loudest gets everyone else nerf'd. Even with Perception,Assault & Tactics to see a Stalker with Hide & Stealth on is very hard to do and if he has Grant invis on top of the other two as well, You may as well give up. You have more chance of meeting the Pope than you have of seeing the Stalker.

    So you go for a build that you feel will give you added protection from them:

    Lighting Field - While active, you emit a storm of electricity that constantly damages all nearby foes.

    Blazing Aura - While active, you are surrounded by flames that continuously burn all foes that attempt to enter melee range...

    Repulsion Field - This toggle power creates a field that violently repels nearby foes...

    Death Shroud - You become a focus point for the Netherworld allowing negative energy to seep from your body that will continuously damage all foes in melee range....

    Icicles & Quills - Basically again while active they are meant to damage anyone continuously in melee range..

    Assault - While active you are resistant to taunt & placate ( No it dont )

    Tactics - While active protects from confuse and fear effects ( No it dont )


    None of the above work against stalker's not even if you have Assault & Tactics on. So what is the point of the powers, They should add that they don't work in PvP against stalkers it would save a lot of disapointment for people.

    Also with say Superior Invins on no other concealment power works with it. Yet the good old Stalkers get Hide then they put Stealth on and if they have a team mate with Grant invis their laughing all the way to the bank. No wonder everyone in Sirens is now saying that the Stalkers Pawn and now seeing less and les people in there.

    Perhaps its just me, perhaps im just a moaning old man that cant keep up with you youngsters. Perhaps ive just been playing this game to long and its time for a change

    I dont know if it was your intention but you seem to miss any of (imo) the decent stalker seeing moves

    While AoE is useless against most stalkers (perhaps decent against regen stalkers they have the least defence)
    you could use Arctic air that is -stealth not a damage aura with tactics you can see invis (close range) and stealthed stalkers pop a few yellows and a grant invis will be seen too
    Chilling embrace is an autohit aura that will let you see a stalker i think (not sure but pretty certain)
    then there are +perception powers like minerals and cloak of fear (theres alot more) with tactics you can see alot thats not to mention clear mind either

    Super invis does not work with other TOGGLE concealment powers but you get group invis and IT DOES stack with that and grant invis
    pets have better perception so running tactics for them will get them to attack a hidden stalker even if you cant see them, this is especially true for MM
    but why you trying to see a stalker anyway the at is designed not to be seen how many ATs can damage a tank enought to kill it with toggles up? what AT can out damage a blaster even a cor cant touch the double offencive pools it would be stupid for any other AT than a tank to try to take the damage they give out. trollers got awesome holds and uber buffs/debuffs somone trying to get into melee with a troller is usually fatal not many ATs can manage it and servive the encounter.
    what i am trying to say is instead of trying to negate the stalker hide (which is hard i admit) you should try to counter it you only need to hit a stalker a few times to kill it (again this aint true with all ATs) i would(and do quite successfully) try to either servive the AS strike and stack 4 holds before he escapes it most ATs can do this (not all) this is the whole point of different ATs and thus i would hope it wouldent change or we may aswell just go to a generic elf/wizard/mage MMORPG and just train the stats we like (boring)
  18. I dont have an invun brute but i do have a level 50 invun tank and i have zero end problems i have got temp invun and unyeilding 3 slotted for end red and invince one slotted and i just dont run out of endurance hope it helps

    This way you have maximum damage and but your attack chain isent too long to give you somme time to recoupé end you may want to take some slots off glowing touch and put it on end reduz on your attacks happy hunting

  22. i like teaming with other brutes the most having a team of 2 or 3 brutes is ultra fun ultra fast and you have little chance of dieing (3 way damage sharing plus Brutes can generally heal themselfs better than an empathy healer)
  23. i would say corrupters are the least PvP friendly AT out there (next to empathy defenders obviously) you have powerful attacks but cant lock anyone down longenough to do damage and your buff secondary are just that buffs wont be particually effective in PvP gen bot is your only friend (if it can keep up with you)

    most builds of brute can regain both endurance and HP right?! i am dark dark i can refill my hp and endurance bar quickly it does cost alot to run dark armour so it does mean every couple of fights i need to rest but with soul drain i can start afight with asmuch damage as full fury bar and when soul drain runs out fury is usually full
    i dont have stamina and i am not particually needy of endurance.... yes i hardly ever see my endurance bar full but that is neither here nor there

    i must honestly say if i find anyone ona team with whirlwind (and its not often) i politly ask them no to use it all it does is scatter foes and makes us other melee chars think were playing piggy in the middle ... if i found a brute using this as an escape power and using it in every battle i would leave!
