Invincible or not?

I have been having major endurance hassle with my L34 SS/Invuln Brute, whenever she runs invincibility. I have tried putting a couple of end red in her attacks but tbh, everything takes ages to kill & more attacks mean more end use. I have gone back to slotting my attacks with just one end reduction & all is well until I put invincibility on.
Seeing as I 90% solo, is it worth me having at all, the biggest mob I tend to get is about 5 strong, so I can't see me missing it that much.
Opinions people please

I slotted 2 accuracy and 3 ToHit in rage, whereas I would slot 3accuracy without rage. Some would say this is overkill, but its great for PvP; u will hit everyone except a storm troller or a bubbler (2 or 4 acc insprations will be enough for them, given there rarity).

U may be able to go 1 accuracy in attacks, but I have not tested against CoT specral demons or any mobs which give you -accuracy. I would slot 3 ToHit in rage ASAP since this is the edge that SS has over all other sets which have only 10sec of high accuracy.

I mention accuracy since if u miss this will be equivalent to starting off with lower endurance in the first instance.

I have a SS/elec and a EM/inv but generally I recommend:

<ul type="square"> [*]1 end in fast cycling attacks that are part of your fury building attack chain [*]I would recommend 2acc 3dam 1 recharge in KO blow, however since u dont have power sink, Id swap out 2 damage for 2 end reducers (if u still have end problems after addressing the rest of the points).[*]footstomp 1acc, 2 end, 3 damage (this is how I have it even with power sink).[*]I have only temp invunerability and unyeilding on my lv36 em/inv, so I have saved some endurance there [*]1 end in your defensive toggles [*]Always 3 slot stamina, no more no less... [*]With a set which has no end recovery powers, get the force of nature accolade ASAP for a get out of jail free card. [*]Id get aid self in your build, dull pain can heal a boat load of damage at once but has a very long recharge [*]/inv is a good set but u really need to take care of the slotting with your end costs, slotting for damage comes after accuracy and end costs. [/list]
Ive got an EM/inv brute and I the only place I had spare slots for damage was in energy transfer. End is alot more precious to a brute because fury &gt; damage slotting

Damage enhancements are a constant and fury does not effect them. Fury multiplies the base damage of the attack. You will put out alot more damage with a full fury bar and 75% end bar than a full fury bar 3 damage slotted SO and a 10% end bar.

This is one way of reducing end costs, some may say that no end in small attacks is fine and heavily slot KO blow for end. YMMV.

If by invincible you mean relentless (the highest difficulty).

Why would he mean a difficulty when he mentioned a power in his powerset?

To answer the OP´s question I would say that Invincibility is definitely worth keeping. It offers accuracy and defense if you are in trouble and both can be a lifesaver although the accuracy bits should not matter if you are running rage.
So, unless you think you could respec in something really good if you leave it out I would definitely keep Invincibility for defense sakes. If you are running into endurance troubles (a common problem) you should not bother to turn it on for the usual 2-3 mob spawns, but everyone has to fight multiple foes once in a while and then it will come in handy.

If it has
eyes, you can blind it, if it has blood, you can make it bleed, if it has a mouth, you can make it scream.

Yeah must admit thats what I was thinking Sin...always handy to have. My endurance problems aren't ott, just a bit annoying when running invincibility, so I will just keep it off, ready for a rainy day

I dont have an invun brute but i do have a level 50 invun tank and i have zero end problems i have got temp invun and unyeilding 3 slotted for end red and invince one slotted and i just dont run out of endurance hope it helps

Well, most of the time invincible pulls agro, sucks endurance bad, and leaves my poor brute without the ability to defend himself. Sometimes I turn it on tho - couldnt tell the difference. At least it looks good.

i hear always that invuln drains really much end.....but it has the lowest end cost of all brute secondaries!

Well, the main problem with invincible is not just end draining. To put it simple: end drain + agro + you think mobs won't hit you = faceplant. I was playing around with it lately, slotted for def, and endrec, and I can say in big teams it can be useful for keeping agro on yourself. Maybe. If you would like to use it as an uber def/acc buff, you will probably be disappointed. Only one thing is sure: rampaging around with just unyielding on is king.

The toggles are so low an end cost that slotting them make almost bog all difference to how many attack chains you get to an end bar, maybe you will get a couple of low end attacks out.

Invincible is ok if you have 10 foes in melee range of you but otherwhys moot so stack it with TH and CJ and love any shield or buff someone can give you.

Invulns dont resist end drain so any -end effect will make you suffer and with low def you would be easily subjected to them.

Footstomp is poor damage per end on a single target that i'd even hurl the boulder but footstomp is definately great on more than 1 and with this i am thinking in terms of damage per endurance whilst raged and especially with fury. Sometimes long action times of hurl work in your favour of feeling a fluid chain and granting time for end to recover perhaps partially why ss is considered "long haul" and maybe you wouldnt want to move from the foes upping your defence to single target to try to gauntlet a foe of someone.

Everytime rage finishes it removes 25% of your endurance bar and if you have it super charged to beyond perma you are overdoing it(but great for pvp).

Everytime hasten drops it removes 15% of your end bar so once in a while you could be "where the hell did 40% of my endurance suddenly go?" followed by detoggle and splat

Find Scrapyard, stand in the middle of his crowd of dockers, right infront of him, with and without Invicibility on then tell me it makes no difference.

It has such a low end cost compared to other powers that i have no problems leaving it on during a mission. I lose more endurance through my attacks than my shields.

I can't understand why people are even suggesting NOT using it. It's your main form of Defence, especially when surrounded by a mob. Alot of people take time to learn Invuln and it's strengths. Most of the time, and with most Scrapper/Brute powers, people run up to the nearest mob and start slapping the guy closest to them. With Invuln, and Invincibility, this is a recipe for near instant faceplant. Invuln needs a different mindset. You need to run past the first guys and get right into the middle of the mob, thereby taunting everyone in the mob onto you (hopefully), giving you excellent defence to all melee attacks (Psi and anything ranged are the death of you) and adding a decent tohit buff to yourself. Of course, I can only speak on a Scrapper PoV, but as one of the heaviest end scrapper primaries with BS, I don't even think about taking any toggles off, least of all invincibility.

Don't kill me guys, it is okay. I never said invincible is useless, and I never said I would ever respec it out. I just said I couldn't tell the difference, and I tend to die quicker if it is on, so I use it as a handy herding tool. Buffs def and acc? Even better.
