actually /sr performs better due to reflexes, and health-based resistance bonuses.... not positional defenses.
and I am still not sure that I consider elec's 41% resistance and huge toxic hole to be superior to /ea's 25% s/l/n defense, 30% to everything else except 6% psi, and 12% resistance to s/l/n/e types. Oh, and a better tier 9. Truthfully I think it needs improvement even more than /ea does cause it's harder to 'fix' it to have reasonable defenses, but I am not going to have this huge discussion again.
The only thing I don't get is...why no taunt in energy drain? I mean...once you energy drain something it's going to aggro you, why not give it a good taunt?
Then again, maybe /EA's 'intended purpose' is to take electric melee and play melee blaster and let the mastermind tank. /ea gets pretty huge benefits from almost any type of buffs.

I would love to give energy drain a taunt effect- then be able to slot taunt IO's- chance for psi damage......
Or let it cause damage as well- nothing gets aggro like causing something some pain. -

The party isn't in-game. It's in a Brick and Morter club. The Devs/Marketing Guys are being "cute" calling it a Pocket D VIP Pass and the Pocket D Jubilee. There is an Item you can get In-Game for attending the con when you pick up your Pocket D Pass to get into the party, though.

I noticed something off about the thigh high boots- they are alot more skin tight looking at the top, than the have in the past. I went to the tailor yesterday and I definetly noticed a difference from how they looked pre- I12, to now.
They don't fold/fan/bend/whatever out at the top and looks as if it is almost skin tight. -

The Critical portion of Energy Transfer operates exactly as if you were criticalling from Hide -- it eliminates the Self Damage, rather than increasing damage to the target.
Using an Assassination attack and missing will no longer suppress Hide (though lesser stealth and invisibility powers will still suppress) if the attack misses. If the attack hits, Hide suppresses normally.
Hide Suppression for Stalkers reduced from 10 seconds to 8 seconds.
Assassination attacks now cause a demoralizing effect on PVE targets that survive the attack. Demoralized targets To Hit value is reduced, and the target may be frozen in terror.

This was a much needed change to stalkers which makes them more desirable to (PVE) teams, which had been largely ignoring them. It also makes stalkers less of a one-trick-pony, which is always a good thing.

I've done this 15 times now on live(5 fails in the beginning). My best method of finishing the nicti is dont aggro the AVs, target the healer(if your facing Romi , healer is on left) everyone with a range attack of 80 ft or more take out the healer. Once hes down and stun wears off we all rush romi 3 times. He drops stuff the nicti do not. Its been said before and there are many diff ways to do this, but I use this one and it works well for me.

Steel Canyon building fire-
Go talk to the guy out front- he'll give you a temp power fire extinguisher- Go. Hunt. Kills fires. 50/100/200 (?) all count for badges.
Getting Hellions standing around and burning the fire count to a badges as well.
DON"T be near the building when it explodes- it does like a billion points of damage or something....instant one-shot.

I would love to see some blow back for that mission in CoV where you blow up the generators. Some "villians" fail that mission on purpose to fight the system or some crap. It would be great if you go back to your contact and he says "WTF?! You failed?!! Go kill the reporter, or else." Then if you fail to go kill the reporter, or just choose not to do it he sics his goons on you, that harrass you every time you zone. It would be neat- and a little more thematic. -

Why do you think the zones are empty? Not because they lack rewards for PvP but because players don't want to PvP.

That could have easily been the reason the Devs decided to change The Hollows- because so many people were dropping the intial meet and great to Wincott.
I personally always did Wincott but no one following because I didn't want to miss the Spelunker mission.
And really it's about time they did something about the zone- it shouldn't be messed up forever, with it beinga hazard zone- in time it would get revitalized.
I like it- but a part of me will miss the old Hollows......
Theres nothing like running 2 miles across the zone only to die 10 ft from the mission door with no wakies on you. -
