As stated above, the Single Shoulder Capes are available in both Long and Short, and are unlocked by gaining the 21 Month Vet Reward and are available on every character at creation.

Feedback: I'm not a 21-month vet but why are all the single-shoulder capes shown in their short version? IIRC I saw people wearing long ones.

With the release of the Mac Edition and the Mac Edition Item Pack
I think it's time to update the guide to include the Valkyrie Costume Pack capes!
The Prestige capes are available upon creation of a character at level 1. You DO NOT have to unlock Capes to use the pieces purchased through the Mac Edition or Mac Edition Item Pack.
They are broken down into different sections for each style, example Prestige Over the Shoulder, Prestige Single Shoulder etc. I won't break them down that way here, since this is section is ONLY for the Valkyrie set as I likely won't be able to edit the section again by the time the next pack comes out. The Valkyrie capes currently are not available in short versions for full sized capes, and are only available in short for the Single Shoulder version.

**Unlike the Single Shoulder Mantle capes that are earned through the 21 Month Vet Reward the Prestige Single Shoulder Mantle capes are available regardless of vet status.
This isn't so much a Guide as it is a list/photo album of the Capes and Designs
For Those newcomers to the CoX universe, Capes are unlocked at level 20 by doing one of the following.
***Hero Cape Mission:***
Learn the History of Hero 1 given by the City Representative found in City Hall in Atlas Park
***Villain Cape Mission:***
Given to you by your first contact in Mercy Island, either Kalinda or Matthe Burke

The exception to the rule is the Single Shoulder capes which are granted as the 21 Month Vet Reward.
There are also other dangly things that act as capes, such as the Trenchcoat given as the 3 Month Vet Reward, and the coat tails on the Tuxedo/Butler coats, and the Veil from the Wedding Pack
Here is the list of the capes found in our lovely game, I used Red and White for contrast. The images are fairly large, so be aware when you click a link.
