  1. I'm not ready to poo-poo you're idea - but I'd be interested to hear your reasons why?

A lot of low-level Fake Nemesis hunters would disagree with you...
  2. I appreciate your comments and will Police-station hunt this evening (possibly using ParagonWiki - thanks Raven).

Undoubtedly Vidiot will expand on this, so I can see it being a suggestion that is left behind.
  3. Thank you for your response, Raven. It's appreciated.

I won't blow this out of proportion, however, I did what I could to restrict a 'cross post'.

This thread was for people to discuss / let me know of locations of police stations - to which I now have an answer.

My suggestion, in the other thread, which quotes this but also asks a different question, was to have police stations (perhaps day job locations) marked on the map.

I appreciate your opinion, but I believe that I split the two posts in a suitable manner.
  4. It's not about paying attention, Raven. As we've stated - they are not *always* near or in the station - thus my question remains valid, but it may need to be re-phrased:

Which Police Stations do *not* house detective contacts, and where are they? Do people know? I'll search myself this evening, but I thought I'd ask.
  5. Perhaps one for Vidiotmaps, then. You're right about Graveyards, Raven, I hadn't thought of that.

However - it'd still be nice - unless part of the 'day job badge challenge' is to find these places yourself
  6. I've asked about current locations in the Players Question thread, as I would like to know where Police Stations are in various zones. However, this is a 'suggestion':

"Most locations for Day Job badges are marked on the map - Wentworths, Atlas Town Hall, Base Potals, Vaults, the Vanguard Base, Pocket D, etc etc - however, Police Stations are not marked on the map.

Is this something that we can hope to see marked on our maps soon? It would make sense, since many detectives (for Safeguard missions) are located in Police Stations."

Markers for Police Stations on mini-maps?

    Ok - so my question.

I know that there is a Police Station in Brickstown, about 500+ yards north of the Hospital (which is where you appear when you use a base TP to that zone). I also know about the Police station just south-ish of the base portal in PI (just over the wall). But where else can you find police stations? I looked throughout Atlas, and missed it if there *was* one there.

    Other zones, locations?
  8. You mean like 'mystic archways'? Like the mini-swirly-portals in cave/magic missions - expect you'd click them to access teleports?
  9. You know, I never really looked into the accolade powers until I read this thread. However, I'm not sure you're right about the 'logging off wherever works for the 'Patroller', so the base tp will always charge', Diggis - according to Badge-Hunter, "While logged out near a Super Group Base portal you will earn time towards your Base Teleporter power."

I like the sound of Wentworth discounts and I REALLY like the sound of invention discount tokens
  10. Works fine hero-side. I picked it up just last week

    MMORPG Glossary

"By popular request = well WE like it"

Khaine, this made me smile instantly

"Massive world to explore -- large, empty wastelands to cross. On foot." - 'with not water...'

"Nominated for two awards = Didn't win either of them" - I hate that, so well said

"Heartwarming and friendly community=If you're new to MMOs, you suck." - Phantom, another chuckler, well done!
  12. Again, this is a suggestion that I could not find previous mention of - so if you know of a thread where this is currently being suggested, or has previously been discussed, I'd appreciate a link - otherwise, on with the suggestion:

Currently, via two Super Group achievement badges (the primary one being the 'Auto-Doc') it is possible (in the end) to by Greens, Blues, and Clears from your base's Infirmary. I love this feature, and certainly makes teleporting to base when KO'd even more useful.

However, since the addition of the '3-into-1' inspiration merge, it is now (although in a drawn-out fashion) possible to get whatever type of inspiration you want from your base - you just buy greens/blues, and convert every three you get into a different colour - but what's the point? Isn't that just a drawn out way to acquire other inspirations? I'd happily just pay 150 inf to the Auto-Doc and get the colours that I want (or whatever bog-standard Contact prices are for inspirations).

Could it be a new SG badge? Perhaps tie it to the day job system (just random thought there - trying to keep it current)? I don't think we need a fourth 'healing' badge for SGs, mainly because a) the first three take a LOT of healing and b) these other inspirations aren't all health related and c) variation is the spice of Paragon, and a new SG badge challenge would be nice!

I'd like to see all inspirations available from the Auto-Doc in SG bases (following the above logic that combining them now makes it simple to get all colours), and am just as happy to see a new SG badge that allows this!
  13. I know that this is something that is 'mentioned' a lot, but a search on certain keywords, and a brief browse through the last page or so of posts does not return anything obvious, so I shall post it here - as it is a 'suggestion' - if there is a thread for this already, please be kind on link me to it, rather than the standard flame response of 'you simply didn't see *this*':

Given that the current telepads are labelled 'basic', are we expecting more 'advanced' telepads in the future - obviously, by this, I mean pads that can have more than two beacons connected to it.

Many people in the base sub-forum discuss the size of teleport chambers vs. price and the number of pads they can hold. Given that obtaining 'advanced' items can be slowed down / made difficult by requiring rare salvage to craft them, are 'advanced' telepads in the near future? If not, should they be?

I for one would like to see them. Our SG base has the highest level control system and power supply - it's about time we have a more refined teleportation system.
  14. I agree. A 'magic door' would've been cool - or perhaps a manhole cover?
  15. Although I see where you are coming from I have to agree with Phantoms. A 'moment of inspiration' would only make the game easier. Bosses can be taken down by teams, normal inspirations, buffs, good power choices, etc. There are plenty of ways to make a 'heroic' stand.

    /unsigned

I would, however, like to see larger inspirations being sold - however, you can get them from Siren's by PVP bounty hunting, and you can also get a LOT from the glowies in the Shadow Shard 'Kora Fruit' missions - so I suppose they too are accessible. It's not like the smaller ones don't drop regularly enough! Perhaps what was suggested previously - to be able to combine, say SIX greens into a 'tier 2' green, rather than only being able to combine 3.
  16. Well, I've logged it, as it keeps happening. I know that it isn't a machine-based error, as others have seen it happen.

I've yet to see it happen *to* other people, however.

    Cimeroran Tailor

Actually, Crazy_Dragon has a good idea there. As you walk up to the tailor in the Midnight Club, they can say "if you're heading into the past, shouldn't you have something that helps you blend in?"

Kind of a 'time travel wardrobe assistant'.
  18. /unsigned

That's just not something that I feel needs to be implemented whatsoever.

    Which Server?

    Defiant all the way
  21. So do you think we'll eventually see a Cimeroran Recluse?
  22. I really haven't seen Statesman in action that much.

Recluse's Victory: I just leave him to it and claim pillboxes once he's done

Mender Silos' Task Force: I *may* have let the pompus fool die. He's meant to be powered by Zeus - so how is it I don't keel over as easily as him?

Anyhoo - it's possible that 'templates' a repeated through time, Tuarus. It's a good theory.
  23. Any idea where that was, Raven? I'd appreciate a linky I could do with something to read atm
  24. Nope, never. We're usually too busy making chit-chat whilst we crush evil - the joy of SG teams running ITF - it's just something I've missed, and Diggis is proof that it's not just me

So - 'why' are they mirrors? Theories?
  25. So, other than me apparently not being as 'quick' as some others, what I was hoping for were some theories / discussions as to *why* there are these 'mirror' characters in Cimerora?
