IIRC (which is a long way from a sure thing, this time of year) you get a detective added to the map when you enter a zone for the first time and get assigned one as your safeguard contact?
Assuming you do, a Police Station marker wouldn't provide anything extra and would just clutter things up a bit.
You do indeed, Standoff, however, since the police contact is not always at the police station, a marker would be useful.
However, I think the OP only gets a marker for this if they start adding markers for all the other Day Job sites, and I somehow doubt they'll start adding graveyard markers any time soon, so no.

Ah, I'd overlooked both the occasional "wandering" detective and the desire to find stations rather than detectives for Day Job purposes - ooops!

It is, like badges. That's why the Day Job Recruiters, and the web site articles, don't mention all the possible sites, or all the possible combinations to give accolades.
Of course, ParagonWiki already has a page detailing pretty much all the known sites, and all the know combinations. Since they get the data by reading the game files, you can be pretty sure they got the lot.

I've asked about current locations in the Players Question thread, as I would like to know where Police Stations are in various zones. However, this is a 'suggestion':
"Most locations for Day Job badges are marked on the map - Wentworths, Atlas Town Hall, Base Potals, Vaults, the Vanguard Base, Pocket D, etc etc - however, Police Stations are not marked on the map.
Is this something that we can hope to see marked on our maps soon? It would make sense, since many detectives (for Safeguard missions) are located in Police Stations."
