No, Inokis you're missing the part where *the aggro range exceeded your visibility*.
Some missions are like that.
In fact the old Cape mission (ooooold) was bugged so that the item you're supposed to be protecting would basically start getting hit the MOMENT you entered the mission. Since it was (at that point) a 2 or 3 level mission map, you might get through the first couple mobs before you get kicked out Failed.
Just because you weren't there to see the Boss run by, doesn't mean he didn't do it - he was the mission objective, therefore if you ignore him long enough he'll do exactly what he did: escape. It wasn't on a timer. It was merely that he NOTICED you coming into the mission, and his actions were triggered by that alone. You didn't need to start a fight or even be in the same room with him, for this to happen. -
Fly can be toggled. Teleport is not a toggle, it's a click power with a single, reasonably short animation.

She doesn't care.
Where's her dinner and catnip mouse, by the way?
-
If I get enough fur off my cats from combing them, do you want me to knit you a cat?
-
Eeeeyup. Yeah that's pretty much what I was thinking.
Thankfully most of my stuff will remain the normal colors.
Those guys must have been working seriously hard these last few months. -
Happy purple bubble-gum Gloom.
On the other hand, icky, sticky yellow Ice Slick.
*shudder* -
Last night (all day yesterday actually) I was having some very bad lag, rubberbanding, pauses, mapserve disconnects, and finally a complete disconnect on Protector.
But then also: I've been having issues with firefox - sometimes, oddly enough, when windows is trying to search for updates it seems that it too has something to do with this. I only say that because it seems like whenever my firefox disconnects get the worst, shortly after comes a Windows update...
But I did notice, and I wasn't alone (and the other wasn't even in the same coastline as me) on Protector that there was a lot of mapserve/lag/banding. -
No, not saying you did hate it, just whenever it gets brought up it's all flames and roasty. I think people also forget: anyone that started with COV *never knew anything otherwise*, and I don't think I've ever even heard a complaint from those folks.
I love how the dev team is really chugging along. Yes, smaller issues - but it looks like we'll be getting FOUR this year alone. Bigger staff = better stuff. -
Well, Issue 6 if you didn't have COV included all the non-cov stuff that WAS in it. I would still consider I6 to be COV.
I've never quite understood the hate on ED - I think I'd 6 slotted ONE power on ONE toon before then, and didn't play it anyway. I'd always been slotting like this before, it just never occurred to me to do otherwise. *shrug* -
I'd imagine I16. GR may be mostly done but I would think a Fall release on it would be best. The economy and all, putting stuff on shelves just now might not be a good move. But after a while, and maybe things have leveled out. Dunno, though, since we've now got full info on I15 on test, a hint of I16, AND pretty much the bulk of ... I17 then? lol.

Awww, I'm so sorry. I've lost pets, and have lots more all around the same age as one another. I'm just dreading when they start "turning old".
No pet can ever be replaced, but do think about picking up a shelter puppy Everyone wins. -

Start a new character at level 1? There are a lot of changes. Then you can come back to the Dom with more knowledge.

This. Everything is either significantly or slightly different than you might recall. There's more to do in general, more ways to slot, places to go, etc. Start fresh and work from there. -
I'm suspecting she wins the interwebs for this, actually. Only, school/real life

Oh maybe make some smaller meatballs for garnishing... if you make the potatos with some kind of gravy in it to darken it, and then add shredded veggies it could look like a german chocolate cake...

Indeed, I wish I had the money to keep up my alternate accounts. If 36 isn't enough, get a second account. It's more helpful since you can mule things to yourself with it if you've got a suitable rig, though it'll be lacking on the vetran reward status.

Have you checked in the Tech support area searching for vista and screenshot? Im' sure that there's a posted fix for this, I think you have to paste from a different clipboard or ... something.
-
Vista has its own little quirk, as I recall. I don't have Vista, so I ... am not of much use lol.
-
Extremely different game, lots of fun, so try it out again
-
Hehehe, but who DOES get to eat it?

We already have Boomtown. Any often-used zone will be safe, including Galaxy ... lol galaxy.
If you want to see your idea in action, get a 50 to Recluse's Victory. Dynamic zone changes. So, we've already got that. -
I've had a character for many, many years (long before coh came out) that has a "limited flight" which requires her to be less than 3 feet away from surfaces in order to fly.
I just took hover. That's all that's needed to simulate 'clinging'.
The cylinder thing is a very important thing to remember here: we can't 'cling' to trees, because their collision areas are very small and twisty. They're not just 'a tree' they're several branches (if you've ever seen an enemy get hung by the leg in one, you'll know what I mean). Hover works best, use your imagination.
Running up walls is actually possible with some of the leaping pool things too, get close to a war wall and run straight along and you'll see yourself climbing quickly to the top. The way the angled walls work in the game, does that.
Since we already have plenty of vertical powers in the game, I don't really see the need to tread heavily on trademarked territory and do something that doesn't really need to be done. Plus: we don't have rooftop entry doors to mission maps. IF they put those in, perhaps this might be a fun addition but why bother, when you can just hit jump and window-walk? -
Rip: Causes your enemy's pants to rip in unseemly places, creating a Fear response.

Well you can always remake it, though you didn't say whether it's an existing, leveled character or a new one? It'd suck if it's one you've been playing a while.
