Are you looking in the screenshots folder in the CoH game directory? Or are you printscreen and copying to MS Paint or another program?
Vista has its own little quirk, as I recall. I don't have Vista, so I ... am not of much use lol.

I'm printscreening and pasting but its coming out solid black.
Have you checked in the Tech support area searching for vista and screenshot? Im' sure that there's a posted fix for this, I think you have to paste from a different clipboard or ... something.

Have you tried Vista's SnipIt tool? It's under Accessories, I've never had the black screen problem with it.
Are your 'black screenshots' happening when you are trying to take screenies in the Costume Editor?
Yay for SnipIt, thanks for the heads up, had this problem earliar today.
One of the S&FA regulars pointed it out to me a while back. Otherwise I was using the work-around below.

1. Bring up whatever art program you are going to use (MSPaint, GIMP, etc.)
2. Move said program so that only a small portion of it is visible, but leave it in the foreground (on top of CoX.)
3. Hit PrintScreen.
4. Move your art app back into view.
5. Paste.
I find this usually solves the 'blank' screenshot issue.

Hey guy's i've been trying to take a picture recently ingame and Whenever I use the snipping tool or Prntscreen it comes out solid black. I'm with Vista and I wanted to know how you guys are doing your pictures so well.
