AOE powers less accessable and more costly.

[/ QUOTE ]Less accessible? Yes, they put all the AoEs up on a high shelf.

The attacks do more damage. They're going to cost more endurance as a necessity. Longer recharges means more damage. It means doms are going to be less able to lean on single powers to supply all their aoe damage and might have to consider, if they want to focus on AOEs, focusing on AOEs.

    Terrible news, I know.

I did a full rundown on my Human/Dwarf here, complete with a mids link for the build.

Not sure if I agree with the guide in part.

[/ QUOTE ]I kinda don't think you read it.

The fitness pool, especially for tri form is kind of pointless.

[/ QUOTE ]Not a tri form. Dual form. Fitness is a power pool that requires no special IOs to justify its existance, provides a nice consistant benefit and doesn't ask anything of you in slots. It's nice, but not necessary and never useless. When you're in dwarf, no, it doesn't provide you with benefits - but you will want to swap to human to move around, and in that case, hurdle is nice, health mitigates sleeps, and you might as well take Stamina at that point since it's a handy power that doesn't need any more slots to be good.
  3. If balancing one power is a nerf to the majority of dominators, the power clearly merited nerfing.
  4. Hey, guys, I skipped to the end, but did anyone call him on:

    1. Taking a brute on a LRSF?
    2. Not noticing that LR has a +1,000% tohit buff to smash whatever his def based character had?
    3. Lying?

    Tanker Offense?

Since neither Superman nor Wonder Man nor The Thing are tanks, I'm not so sure that your argument provides the idea any more weight.

    * Dominator PSW now costs 18.5 endurance. The Blaster version on live, which is essentially the same thing in terms of recharge, radius, max targets, and animation/activation time, costs 10.2 (same end cost as the Dom PSW on live). Either the Blaster version gets adjusted upwards or the Dom version gets adjusted downwards. Having what essentially amounts to two identical powers with very different endurance costs just sticks out badly.

[/ QUOTE ]I know, so many people I know bump into me and say 'Yeah, 10.2 endurance, wow!'
  7. Just a fly-by commentary, if people are looking for places to stress-test dominators? The Fall Of The 5th Column can give both your survivability and your ST DPS a workout. Mender Lazarus offers it, it's level range 30-40, and it features Nosferatu (difficult to fight in many cases), Burkholder (KB heavy and a bit of a useless tard), and a room of about a hundred nazis in waves of ambushes.
  8. You really wanna socket Black Dwarf mire like an attack. Read my guide for more thoughts on the matter.
  9. Gee, [censored], silly me thinking I could offer my opinion based on my experience. Never mind, I'll just be going and sitting in the corner, then.
  10. No, because I was thinking about my own experience.
  11. I can't think of any time I fight a single thing long enough to run out of both essences. Hm.

    Leave my KB alone -_-

    [/ QUOTE ]

What part of the suggestion I made would alter your KB?

[/ QUOTE ]It would legitimize the perspective that there's something 'wrong' with KB while making a more-powerful, less skill-intensive version of the same power available with no comparative drawbacks.
  13. It's okay.

I was actually writing out the mission arc on paper. A notepad. On the bus.
  14. HOW DARE YOU SUGGEST WE TEAM!
  15. I don't fancy waiting another month to make something I want to run tomorrow.

And the offline mission planner doesn't have easy cross-referencing.

    nova offers... what, exactly?

    [/ QUOTE ]

    The most damage.

[/ QUOTE ]Not distributed in a significant enough way to give a damn.

I fail to see how upkeep encourages participation...

[/ QUOTE ]Something that asks of players to actually earn prestige because there will be a constant cost. No participation = no more prestige = no more base usage.

I will contact support. Hope it works out. Thanks for all the comments. Yes it was all bosses, mainly so we could fight a comparable warface on the hardest setting only LOTS of clones. It gave us a good challenge with him having EM.

    [/ QUOTE ]
Well, I'd reconsider the all-boss theme. That is a common tactic for player-made farms. I don't know of any official content within the game where everyone is a boss, so it could be considered exploitative since there's nothing official to which you can compare it.

[/ QUOTE ]For some reason, this is how Ashley McKnight's level 30 mission spawned for me on my dark/fire brute. I had such fun playing it I refrained from completing it for four levels - the bosses were purple when I started, yellow when I finally finished.

Kinda a weird anecdote, but I guess my point is, I 'farmed' that map for the fun.

All of which says 'It can be improved,' not 'it has no reason to exist.'

    [/ QUOTE ]

On the other hand, there isn't any particular reason for it to exist either.

[/ QUOTE ]A way to mark the passage of time and a way to gently encourage participation in the SG.
  20. I did a full rundown on my Human/Dwarf here, complete with a mids link for the build.
  21. I can't stand nova form on my warshade. Dwarf offers mez protection and an AOE minigame that I adore playing, human form offers some ST DPS and area control, and nova offers... what, exactly? Tri-form stretches my khelds too thin. Even if I went nova/dwarf, I'd sac the human form for it. And I wouldn't do that on a PB, and I wouldn't do it on a WS.

    This isn't a smart-azz question.

I am trying to figure out what makes them so super-uber that they require a "kryptonite" npc (aka quantum and voids) with "I win" button weapons ... especially at the lower levels.

    [/ QUOTE ]They aren't, they don't, and they don't.
  23. I don't suppose some enterprising individual out there has already created a resource whereby we can look at enemy groups across level ranges? I'm currently trying to do planning for an arc without using the game itself much (computer issues) and was wondering if I'd have to keep stealing time to find which enemy groups can give me the forced level range I want.
