Ninjapirate is right.
Note also that if you got the exploration badge out of sg mode you can still get credit for the SG/VG on the same toon if you revisit the spot in SG mode.
There will not be any notification until you have all the badges for that zone but it does register.
I had to do this in RWZ for my VG when we only had 1 toon above level 35(before the level restrictions were removed). -
As long as your internet connection is good you should have no problems.
Me and my wife both play from Italy with no problems after playing a year and a half in Utah. My brother in law plays in Japan after starting his account in texas. We've all updated our account info and had no problems in game or with the accounts.
Our subscriptions are all on auto-charge to our credit cards to make things easier, but as long as you have a way to get time cards that is by no means required. -
I still get it. Sometimes not till after I'm finished and go to access WW or a store or pretty much anything. Everytime though I have to open the task manager to close the game and the memory usage reads in the high 70's or low 80's (w/ 4 gig of ram).
I was hoping that switching to windows 7 would help but,....no. -
The low damage comment has just been my experience with this dom so far(my mind/psi dom is MUCH better).
It could be I only have attacks slotted with Acc and end reduction or that I am only 22,....not sure. That is part of my problem.
If the damage gets better and is viable as mostly AOE I will try a respec(mostly single target right now other than immobs) and see how that goes. -
Hello folks,
I have been playing for a while and I have found that I like making less popular AT/powerset choices when creating new toons (powerset choices in this case). Just for the novelty and such. Usually I can make these toons pretty fun and for the most part productive parts of the Paragon community.
I seem to have met my match with my Fire/Thorns Dominator though. Low damage and high end use combined with holds that dont seem to hold (except in domination) very much suck the fun out of this toon for me. I have end reducers in the attacks but still run out of end long before even small/medium mobs are down, or held.
I have him up to level 22(through teaming mostly) and was hoping stamina would help, but no luck. I think perhaps I am going into the Dom thing with the wrong play style in mind. To me, Dominators are like a light controller with more damage. Am I wrong here?
I have seen no guides on the Thorns set other than Plant/Thorns so Im guessing that it is not popular for one reason or another. Anyone out there had success with a Fire/Thorns? Im really just looking for play style suggestions rather than specific builds, but if certain powers are useless/great to have please let me know. Also if there is a level that Doms really start to shine (example: tanks after the low 20s) that would also be great.
I hate deleting toons after level 20 but I am real close to wiping this one.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks -
Hi all,
We just managed a successful STF of Liberty Saturday (I think it was Saturday, it's been a long weekend). The repairmen were definitely healing immediately on spawn with almost no chance to interrupt them.
One thing I did notice during the tower pounding marathon was that we were actually able to make good progress when our Grav troller put his singularity right on the tower that we were attacking at the time. Every time the singularity was gone progress went mostly backwards.
I am thinking this is because the singularity was killing them AS it was knocking them back, immediately as they spawned.
The idea was brought up to use force bubble (we were fortunate enough to have a bubbler also), but our empathy defender brought up a good point. If we missed killing any of the repairmen that the bubble harmlessly knocked back they would rebuild the fallen tower when we left to take out the next tower.
The towers still took a while due to the flyer interfering and the Gravity troller biting the dust a few times but we got through it and squashed Recluse shortly after.
Anyway, my 2 cents on the thread. Hope this might help someone 'till they fix this. -
Thanks for the thoughts folks,
After reading through these suggestions and looking over the prices at the market again I have decided go ahead and use my randoms in a level or two.
It makes the most sense to me at this point, and after Fulmens reminding me that the Demand far out weighs the Supply in the market lately ,it seems the best track to follow.
Thanks also for the chart link Kitteh. I use the wiki alot but had forgotten about that chart. -
I have a question for the collective of marketers.
I have an Ice/Storm controller who just reached IO'ing level (for me this is 32) and I have collected 353 merits from his heroic efforts.
Would it be better to:
a) Random roll them all (17.65 rolls) from the 35-40 pool
b) Buy a Miracle (or some semi-equivalent expensive recipe) and sell it. Plus about 8 random rolls
c) Wait till I'm in my 40's and random roll then (for higher lvl recipes)
d) some other better thing I haven't thought of.
I'm sure someone out there much with more math skill than I have has worked something like this out. Just looking for a few opinions. -
Quote:You were not the only one with timing issues and while having everyone on vent would probably fix the problem, it is most likely not possible (some folks don't have it or won't use it).I was on the tank team. My timing was off for a couple of reasons. One, I counted down ten seconds, and still went in ahead of main thrust. When I died and everyone else was still on the rock I got PO'ed and almost left. Second, I did not know we had a vent. Knowing that would have made a huge diff. It seems that a lot of people in that last raid were noobs, or new to Hami. Knowing about the vent would have reduced the stress of Linix, inexperience, and timing.
One thing I did notice that was different from raids I've done in the past is the way Lil ran off the timing binds she had. They were just strung all together, one right after another, and people had to count down themselves to figure out when to go. I'm not sure everyone knew(I saw lots of people saying they were new to Hami also) exactly when to go. Past raids we've done the raid leader would send out the buff/attack announcements spread out at the appropriate intervals to take any guess work out of it.
Having some communication, at least between team leaders, would be good too. I was put in charge of one of the blaster teams (not a problem) and the only other team leader I heard from(other than in broadcast) was from the person who left me the team to go build another one. There really should be a little target coordination at least, IMO.
This is all my opinion, of course, and is in no way an attack on Lil or any of the other organizers of the raids lately. I'm just adding my two cents because, like others, I would like to see these raids become Successful weekly additions to our Liberty server. Take it for what you will.

I didn't see this one in here anywhere.
On my female scrapper(athletic build) I have a roman chest detail on with just a tights pattern underneath. the left shoulder front of the chestpiece clips into the shoulder badly just above the breast. I doesn't matter which stance she is in and I moved the sliders around with no sucess. -
I did not know that, makes sense.
Thanks for the info guys. -
I have always enjoyed the Zombie attacks but one thing about them bothers me. I run with my lvl 50s and 40s but the highest/only recipe drops I get are level 30. Did I miss a memo somewhere? Is this the way it is supposed to work? Unfortunatly I have not checked my drops on lower characters, so I am not sure what I am getting on those.
This has been bugging me a while but I keep forgetting to ask. -

I have been noticing this mostly when teamed. On an ITF it is consistent and constant. After every zone in I have to sync. I've done 5 ITF's on 3 different toons this week(all lvl 50) and all 3 have the problem. I haven't timed it. I usually just /sync after 2 or 3 "bounces" like most people seem to do.
I did do a Dr. Q (with a different lvl 50) earlier this week and had the problem at a much reduced frequency. Maybe once out of every 5 zonings. My lowbies seem to be about this rate when teamed also. Unteamed the problem only shows maybe once out of every 15 zonings.
Don't know what, if anything this shows, but it's my 2 cents. -

Ruby, why can't I quit AMD products?
They're like raspberry truffles.

Reiraku, I'll probably get in trouble for this for telling you, but long ago we found a secret society of mole people who we keep happy by feeding them Oreo cookies and tissue paper, and in return they give us the secret recipe for a special colorless coating we put over every product we make, the contents of which produce an odorless odor, that when inhaled makes the person forever addicted to our products.*
* Ruby is a fictional character, and in no way do her views and comments reflect the views and comments of AMD. The mole people, if they exist at all, are certainly not under AMD's control, and if they do in fact produce an addictive, odorless liquid, it certainly is not necessarily the reason why people like AMD products. Also, the mole people's relationship with AMD (if said mole people even exist) is purely based on admiration and mutual respect, not Oreos and tissue paper.

That is one of the funniest things I've read on these forums. It's great when people can have fun with/at their jobs.
