You can get all those old badges by going to GC via Ouro. Jack Wolfe has more than likely been moved to Atlas Park, while the devs have officially confirmed that the Kheldian contact in GC will be moved as well.

Quote:As to the first point, I have no idea what kind of point you're trying to make, but we have double the end game trials with I21 than we did when trials first launched. They're working on more to do as we speak, it just takes time. So there's no reason to complain aside from just wanting to complain. So there arent a limited number of incarnate trials you can repeat
Got a link?
As to the second, I don't have a link to the pics themselves as they were in an actual, physical magazine. You'll have to buy the 'zine yourself. There was a topic floating around on the boards discussing it, though. You can look for that and see peoples' responses. -

There is no "goodbye sewers" as it's still gonna be there. The trial is just there as an added option to folks that want to do something different.
And how is there more Incarnate Grind when they add in another trial, allowing you more variety in what you can do to get merits and actually increasing the daily amount of merits you can get because of this?
Also, devs haven't promised anything in terms of bases and PvP, so you can't say that's something that will be coming to us. -
Quote:I thought it was Word of God, aka the Devs, that said Stefan is dead?Or if the rumors of Richter's death were greatly exaggerated.
What if Richter DID receive powers from the Well, but was subdued by Cole and kept imprisoned? Think about what other signature superhumans have done: Reichsman kidnapped other alternate dimension Coles to feed his power. Lord Recluse, in the future, imprisoned Positron to power his "ultimate weapon". There's a precedent here for using other superhumans as Duracell batteries.
What if Praetoria's greatest shame was that their beloved Emperor was fueled, in part at least, by the ongoing powers and energy of his best friend, for all these years? -
On a serious, less snarky note, artists typically go with those stream lined, less detailed, easier to draw designs so that it's much easier to draw a more fluid scene, especially for a show that has a lot of action. The more detailed everything is the longer it takes to draw out each scene. I remember that was one of the reasons why they chose the animation style that they did for the Spectacular Spiderman.

I don't understand why people would want to keep this flawed system and continue it with Hero PPPs. They need to just make the Patron Powers accessible at level 40 without forcing you to run the story arc. You can already respec into another Patron's powers without having to run their arc. Might as well just unlock them for all and not tie these specific powers to in game lore.

Quote:We get it. You like muscle chicks.Um... Everywhere? The way the "muscle" slider works, it's next to impossibl to make a muscular woman who does NOT have a giant butt and huge thighs. That's because it's less a "muscle" slider and more an "assets" slider, as it makes women's breasts and butts bigger, but neglects to make their arms bigger or their chests (as in the rib cage) much more solid. I've had to jam the hips slider all the way to the left an the waist slider all the way to the right just to keep a stout woman's butt from looking like a semi-trailer.
Neither, because they both look absurd. The model would make me laugh my *** off if she ever tried to walk on anything but smooth, level ground in those heels, or - oh the hilarity - walk on unpaved dirt, like that of a park. The cosplayer I'd laugh my *** off because Miss Liberty's rainbow costume is just absurd and I can't keep a straight face looking at it, unless I supplant the emotion with rolling my eyes. Golden age and silver age super heroes DO NOT look capable or powerful in the slightest sense. At best, they look like gymnasts. At worst, they look like Robin Hood: Men in Tights.
Again - just making a female character in a turtleneck top does not automatically equal class and good design, especially when said female character is still fighting crime in a miniskirt, pantihose and high heels. Personally, I find it much more sexist to keep drawing up women in "girly" clothes as the only possible attire like we can't see them as anything more than Super Office Ladies.
You know who WOULD look more capable to me than BOTH of those options, though? The seven-foot-tall woman in blue jeans, steel-toed boots and a tiny workout top with arms like pipes and abs like a washboard. That I could understand and would actually perceive as being strong. So where is THAT in the game, outside of my own making?
Quote:I like Lord Recluse the most and followed by the Sand Man.
I have to say, most patrons look good except for Mako. A "shark" man as patron just seems out of picture to me. Ghost Widow, Sand Man and Black Scorpian all tie to the arachno enemies really well but a "shark" enemy? I don't think any of the enemy is close to a type of "fish".
Oh wait... there is Crab. Never mind. lol
A crab looks a lot closer to "Spider Armor" though. -
Quote:Then go to art school, get a career in the animation industry, and make your own cartoon with better proportioned characters.So.. what is this, like Justice League Unlimited for Marvel?
I haven't seen the show... I'm going to assume it's in the same category of quality. Just judging from that video, however.... it makes me wonder why anyone even watches the show. Seriously, some of those drawings are atrocious. Especially that disfigured Captain America. I was drawing better proportioned characters in my junior high days. -
Couple people missed the point.
GW was mentioned and dead was in quotes because he was wondering if Stefan could exist as a spirit. -
I liked it and look forward to a sequel.
-
It will be as easy as certain players want it to be. Note that we're not all forced to take all these options. If you want a hard game, don't buy the extra stuff and kick your diff up.
-
It's all a conspiracy. The devs have painstakingly set up the Random Number Generator to make the game easy for some players, and grindingly hard for others. It's sometimes chosen at random who gets a harder game, while other times the devs will hand pick people they may or may not like and alter the game accordingly for them.

Kids looks pretty young. Could be interesting. Really hope they don't spend all their time hyping up the fact he's of a different ethnicity, though.

Lord Recluse pulls off the vile, evil mastermind look so well while still looking physically intimidating.
Ghost Widow, although looking like a normal Fortunata, somehow still manages to pull off the spirit thing very well.
Captain Mako has always been one of my favorite NPCs purely because he's a shark man that takes no guff from anyone, and that's how he looks.
Black Scorpion looks exactly like the giant, bulky, dim-witted henchman that's not goofy but actually intimidating.
And Scirocco does come across as rogueish and has quite a history, as least to me. I also love his general theme and wish we had more costume pieces like that.
Also like Foreshadow and wish we had costume parts and hair like his.
Dr. Vahz does an excellent job of looking like a demented, sick doctor.
As to NPCs that need updating, I really wish Statesman would just turn the faceplate into a helmet and lose that cape. It just feels like someone put a cape on him for the sake of him wearing a cape, and it just doesn't flow with the rest of his outfit. It'd be like putting a cape on Captain America.
Also wish Countess Crey would get an updated look. Something more professional and not showing off as much skin. Crey is still a respected organization within the general community, their leader doesn't need to look like an obvious, costumed supervillain. -
Quote:Roll up an AR/Devices blaster. Or you can make any type of character out there and call them a Longbow Warden.I would have loved to have had Longbow as heroic EAT. If you look to the Gold then there are a few options there as well. One o' dem dere rocket-backpack dudes. That'd be sweet.
But yeah... I would like a Longbow option. Vanguard as well.
As to the Rikti, I would love for that. Give us some basic customization options, as in what they have now combined with a couple new things. Make a branching system like for the VEATs so you could encompass the vast variety of different roles their soldiers play. Have it unlock once you have a character complete the Vanguard intro story arc and bam. So much story to use with it, too. -
If the person/people that "ruined" things were doing so completely ICly, can you actually fault them for them playing out how their characters naturally are?
