Recast Singy at every opportunity you get...right smack in the middle of a group. Helpful!

My first 50 was an elec/elec/elec blaster (/shame!) that occurred about 22 months into the playing the game. My second, which I'm much happier with and actually enjoy playing, is my DP/TA corruptor.

Quote:Substantial time for you to find yourself on the receiving end of a particularly nasty life-depleting barrage of nastiness. The combination of the forced multi-second hover and the time it takes for you to set the traps would pretty much guarantee your death.Damn the man! It doesn't let you do it during the forced post-teleport hover though, which is a bit upsetting. I would love to have my MM porting all over the battlefield dropping traps and triage beacons that fast.
Maybe I'll pop on test and see what happens with TP + Hover + Traps, unless someone already has that going on and wants to chime in. -
Quote:Seconded. I love the top tier blast powers that don't have an end drain component.Corruptor nukes are really a 50/50 call IMO. It also depends on your secondary. If you have an end refilling secondary like Kinetics and Cold then I'd say go for the nuke. If you have a toggle heavy secondary like Sonic or you have a lot of leadership/fighting toggles, then I'd say don't go for the nuke.

Just float down close to the ground and the powers activate, then float away to safety.

Quote:Stealth and grant invisibility might be ok if you're willing to replace them, but you could also think about Maneuvers and Assault. Both of them (the leadership and stealth pools) are going to bring things to the team, as well as providing you personally with something beneficial.Ok, I moved around those powers to pick them earlier. Aid Self is there simply 'cuz I like self heals. But say I drop it, what do you think would be a suitable replacement? Perhaps Stealth and Grant Invisiblity? Nothing else is popping out at me...

Quote:Considering how much aggro flash arrow gives, aid self is definitely not a bad idea. -
I wholeheartedly endorse taking dark mastery over power -- it's just more fun, and the self rez and PBAoE stun are helpful.

Both Flash and Poison Gas Arrow are being taken way, way too late. The debuff on these is fairly sizeable and WONDERFUL for soloing and team play. Why are you leaving them for so long?
Why aid other and aid self? -

I had just started playing WoW (/shame), actually, and was complaining in a chatroom that I frequented (/additional shame) about the inability to customize my character sufficiently. One of the chatters mentioned this game and I gave it a whirl. Discontinued WoW shortly after and have stuck with this ever since. Well, off and on...but I always come back to this.

Ooooh, that's a tough one. I would probably go with either the radial cardiac tree for my DP/TA corruptor or I'd wait until my crab hit 50 and then go with him as my only alpha character.

Quote:Correlation != Causation. The devs do listen to their players and give them what they want. With the release of Alpha Strike, the devs will have give me more than what I suggested for the game.
Kudos to the devs. Hope the rest of the playerbase enjoys the result of my suggesting it in the first place, except Psyrene. -

The radial musculature slots look good for my DP/TA corruptor.

Quote:Aww, I was going to say something similar to this, but make it more fun.Worst brute build?
I know a Brute who shall remain nameless that is a Fire Melee/Dark Armor. He has 4 attacks, yes just four, the first four choices. o.O SS, SJ, Teleport and the full medicine pool........ On top of that he believes this brute is epic powerful LOL
Any primary, any secondary, only power pool choices after level 6. Throw brawl on auto and never use any other attacks.

I wasn't a fan of being rooted for a significantly longer time. It appears we've arrived at an impasse.

My DP/TA corruptor is currently level 49 -- I love him. He is by far my most favorite character, both in concept and play. A lot of people ask how bad the redraw is and how it affects my play and, quite honestly, it doesn't bother me whatsoever. Conceptually, the combo makes for a great mercenary/weapons specialist-style character. Practically, he is a walking death machine of death, death, and more death. The combo of incendiary rounds -> flash arrow -> poison gas arrow -> glue arrow -> acid arrow -> oil slick arrow -> hail of bullets wipes out groups fairly quickly, and any stragglers are picked off with my remaining powers. The added bonus of ice arrow and an ammo swapped suppressive fire means I'm holding bosses, which is just ridiculously handy. Once I get him all IO'd to crap, I'd like to write up a guide...for funsies.

Quote:I vote for stress leave. Your job is waiting for you when you come back and everyone is really nice and tries to be very careful around you. This may mean presents and offerings of food. You want to get laid off. Or have a disability. You don't want to get *fired*
If you're fired, there's no obligation to pay you unemployment. Your employer can dispute your application for benefits if you're fired. Just FYI, in case you want to try one of the above ideas -
Quote:This intrigues me. I've never come across anyone who's taken AP over HO.My wife and I play duo empaths alot and often I will take AP over heal other because as some have said in the later stages of the game, buffing is the major part of the empath game. So I view healing as an emergency back up, with healing aura being fired just to provide some personal healing and keeping the group topped off. The only time when I ever have healing aura on auto is when I am dual boxing and don't want to juggle as the characters so much.
