    So, why does Frozen Aura get ignored? There've been many threads on this here in the forums, the gist of which is that a PBAoE SLEEP doesn't add anything to a Tankers Repertoire. Since any Aura power interrupts Sleep effects, and Tankers essentially *must* run auras to fulfill their roll, it is counterproductive.

    I'd also contend that your own /Fire Blaster has the same issue with Its secondary's Teir-9 -- It adds nothing to their Survival ...meanwhile a certain Farming build with the same power by level 8 gets an exponential benefit beyond yours and is turning both your home-zone of PI, and the market you worked so hard on, into the biggest cesspools this game has seen since the days of fire-tank herding and Hydra-farming.

    As far as their intended effects go, I'd point to Irony and say they were switched at Birth

  7. Oh, yer rollin that on Freedom eh? Sounds great but We'd have to discuss via PMs most likely b/c we've run into issues in the past in similar instances (when a couple folks from a different network were taking unfair advantage our network). They got the perks, we got the blow-back. Wasn't at all what we had signed up for.
  8. Hmm, not sure I follow. We're literally the only 2 Active leaders on Freedom right now. Everyone else, Ceej, L6, Hobo, Posichimp, etc... all got swollowed up by the Nothing (real life) so I don't think it affects any one else in the roundtable. You'll have to pardon me if my brain's still riding a snail this afternoon, I still ain't got the racing upgrade yet.

  9. I do second the opinion that we need more Vilain Groups... even on Freedom *shocker*

    The Villain coalition is pretty strong but it could be Stronger. It's also without a PvP-Focussed VG for the first time since it was founded and a couple of our groups only have 4 or 5 VG's in coalition so they're Far from being Full as well. ...specifically we need something that'd synergize well with F&F(Brutes/Kins). Just adding another active group or two to the coalition would be very helpful. MM wouldn' need to follow suit if they didn't want to of course.

    That part I bolded is telling me this is totally possible from ANYWHERE. That could also include hopping inside a PVP zone mission, firing Elude there, and hopping back out to the zone - an even easier exploit since you don't have to die to use it.

    This is a PVP issue, not a Base issue. Bases do not enable this exploit, nor do they make it any worse (eg, you still have a 30 second countdown timer upon zoning from your base).

    Ahh, but can you leave the PvP mission a matter of seconds later with a full tray of Inspirations, Teir-9 Melee Buff, and Forge/Clarity/AB/etc ?, ...and for that Matter, can you even get that mission if you and your "2nd Box" are both well beyond the level minimum to take a timed mission there? *taps side of forehead* And unlike taking a mission there, the Base-hosp exploit doesn't require its users to leave the front steps of the other faction's "Fort".



    I appreciate the thoughtful response on the rest.
    Upon re-examination, I'd reckon I have to agree with most-all of the reasoning in your response.
  13. Can you "go to Base" in a PvP Arena or a mission with a specifically assigned death penalty(IE: JAILS)? ...hell no you can't. So why allow it in PvP Zones?


    PS: thanks MCG for clearing that up. I apologize for assuming these came from just the recent sanctioned/Consolidated lists of Bugs, Issues, and Suggestions. If I'd known my actual list of imbalances and stuff didn't belong in the Suggestions thread, I would have posted it somewhere else. But again... Ex kinda dumped everything instead of making URL's for us to Follow to the proper threads
  14. That's right... players can basically die, and then Rez and return immediately with Full Health at the exact point they died, Teri-9 Buffs, and pocket full of Teir2/Teir3 Insps if they want to. And they can repeat it as many times as they want with barely any load-time penalties that going through the Zone entrances carries...

    (I won't even go into the the kinds of things this allowed "Base Campers" to pull off)

    But I'm not talking about Empowerment. I'm talking about an actual Exploit (and I'm sick of people second guessing the definition of EXPLOIT, we don't have time for that crap!). applying buffs to someone else or to one's self that should not be available at all in the level range that the PvE zone exemps that person down to. ...gulping Teir-2's... etc, stuff like that.

    Everything else you said... really doesn't explain why issues like these are being ignored by the actual list consolidator, but thanks for the attempt at constructive feedback anyway even though you don't seem to know that much about the issues.

    I WAS doing that for a while... 100 lucks and 100 BF's per bin. Took me a whole hour (accros 3 to 5 SG's in total?) b/c of slow loading. I literally came back the next week and they were all gone in atleast one of the SG. Eventually I just gave up entirely.

LUCKS & BREAKFREES are more necessary 30+ game![*]Too much Base Invention JUNK, no reason for there to be that many different kinds of Salvage[*]Storage capacity gets maxed out too soon on ALL Plots.[*]needed: Coalition access to Storage or Cross-Coalition "community bins".[*]needed: Private Portal-Mission portal so we can avoid the FARMER-HELL in Peregrine Island.

    ONLY wishlist item:[*]New Empowerment buffs plz. Especially ones that require a team to "Chain Cast" for a more powerful effect.

    Is under 50-92-characters still not condensed enough? Am I just chopped liver here? What exactly do you people all do so much better than me obviously that allows you to avoid all these imbalances and headaches?
  17. Sorry but I don't really endorse this "consolidated" list. First of all, a big chunk of it is about the SG system/interface which has nothing to do with Base function specifics that Ex asked for. Second, I don't feel it took into serious consideration any of the Issues I posted(1 or 2 which did end up here, were from other posters) that are affecting a much larger PvE SG/Coalition and detracting from the entire potential of having a Base in the first place, or worse, give these SG's loopholes and unfair advantages.

    I liked the original thread better before Ex locked it. Atleast in that thread, the people affected most by Base issues could still voice them all and weren't omitted Judge-Jury-&Executioner style by a single person who isn't even a Dev. If the points I raised all sucked(and yeah, 1 or 2 of them weren't a real Priority), then I expect to be told why, not completely ignored... and I'm sure everyone else who's seriously impacted by this should expect the same. It's not "consolidated" if half or more of the specifics raised are all left out and replaced with stuff that didn't even appear in the source-thread.

    Some nice ideas on the First list but I don't see it focusing on the current and much-more annoying Limitations, Functionality, and QoL issues which should take priority over Atmosphere and "Decorations".

    -"Going to Hospital" in a PvP Zone... allows multiple Teir-9, INSP, and Buff exploits. FIX 1ST PLZ
    -Item of Power: Mez Protection -- Way way overpowered. Plz tone it down before allowing CoP again
    -CoP Trial: Was a ton of chaotic FUN! We don't need Base-Raiding, just fix the CoP
    -Individual Rank-based Access permissions ON each Storage Widget
    -Coalition access to Storage or Cross-Coalition "community bins".
    -Storage capacity gets maxed out too soon on ALL Plots.
    -How bout a REAL upgrade to the Medi-Doc store fer cryin out loud? LUCKS & BREAKFREES....PLZ!
    -Track "Damage-Mitigation"... Healing shouldn't be the only Metric used for the MediDoc Badge!!
    -Too much Base Invention JUNK, no reason for there to be that many different kinds of Salvage

    -Portal orientation: Tired of entering base facing a WALL, please allow rotation of entry-points.

  21. Granted, it's hard for all US companies or officials to do anything about farming and bootlegging, but Isn't NC-soft based out of Asia too? ...They could track these spammers down in a minute if they used their resources over there.
  22. I'll take it to mean I don't have to move back to the 'rural hell' that is Infinity.

    I went there lookin some PvP'ers who have *SOME* sense of humility or casualness and they was rarer than hen's teeth! It's not the same Infinity that I started out PvP'ing on, thats for damn sure. All the cool veterans from issue4 musta gone somewhere else so I'd CHANGE my vote to Freedom now if I could. Lag be Damned! And I'll be urging everyone in R.O. to do the same (STAY on Freedom/Test for PvP).

  24. A lot of the transfers to Freedom won't just be the people who are desperate for Teams.
    LOTS of Farmers/PL'ers/solo-PvP'ers will be wanting in too (all the Polls assert this).
