Quote:I have a buddy who always waits until the heat of battle is on and someone is dying. Then hits them with a fortune to see if they'll die trying to hit the accept button instead of the inspirations or the powers they needed to stay alive. Split decisions under stress are hilarious on occasion.I demand people stop randomly reading my fortune - it pisses me off when I'm using the market, levelling up, sorting through storage.
"BUT ITZ A BUFFFF!!"
"And this me hitting 'ignore."
Drive by fortune readers get slapped with a global ignore from me.
Magus and Geas! T9 power! Hibernate! Phase! T3 Purple or Green! No no no a button in the middle of my screen that has a chance to give me a tiny survivability buff! Shiney!
Logic is great.
As far as the OP's statement goes. I'd have to agree with a previous post and say that anyone actually willing to help should be given the tag, vet rewards or not. "Helper" could simply mean that you're happy to help an unknown kill 5 hellions so they can get to the next door mission. Helper should define your willingness to actually help if you can, and not put into the light how much you do or don't know about the game. -
Since I20 came out I have yet to do a single BAF or Lambda for this exact reason. I like the challenge of fighting and seeing purples/red mobs. This as well as a few RL distractions have made me login less and less since the release of I20. I do hope that once people have finished with the grinds needed to give their characters a level boost past 51 they'll come back and join the rest of us. In time I may casually get my characters past 50+1, but it makes the game less of a challenge. I prefer having awesome characters because of the builds I put on them and the way I play them, not because they are level 52-54 fighting grays, greens and blues. I see no fun or challenge in that. It's sad when my 50 tank can still out tank a lvl 53 tank.

Not sure if I'll be able to make this one, got a busy week ahead of me when I get home. But, anything is possible. Might be a late entry.

Hey, at least it's not WoW (which I just jumped ship from), where I would already have been called a noob, told to die, and otherwise screamed at in 4chan dialect by a poop-eating Morlock that hasn't seen the sun in years . . .
but I digress.
Thanks for all the welcoming, and see y'all in game!
Welcome to the Chaos bud. Amy already cover'd the global Channels, so we'll see what we can do there. If ya need anything, don't hesitate to look me up.

He's just bein' nice because he knows he still owes me 2 hours. -
Welcome to Champion. Pertaining to BMT of Champion, it's a private channel so you'll need an invite from one of the Moderators. I know a few of the Mods so if you toss your global chat handle out we'll get ya in.
Also, if ya need anything at all. Look me up, I might be handy to have around.
