  1. Based on info I found on the web @cohwiki.

Father Gerard Henri was a French Jesuit priest who traveled to the Rogue Islands in the 17th-Century (which is the 1600s-1700)

In the 1830's, an aged Father Henri took it upon himself to put to rest the Spectral Pirates that haunt Fort Hades on the island of Port Oakes.

That's a very long lifespan, what is the reason behind that? and is the info correct about his long lifespan? There's also info that he was a 'monk' not a priest. Could you please clarify which one he is. It also said he found out through "mysterious" ways about the children of enos/french settlers conflict in the Rogue Islands. Is it meant to be ambiguous?
  2. I hope your financial situation improves for you and California Manoa.

I'm not a base person much, but I do have people on my global friends list, and people in SG's that I have been members of,who left three years ago and never came back.

How long are people expected to wait? Seven years, like a missing person?

    [/ QUOTE ]
yes! 2 more years to go!

There are no 'set' rules, it's all up to your discretion.

How about deleting some of these olds threads, or letting them die out?

    How about not starting fights?

How about not posting pointless stuff just to PL your post counts?

And how about not ganging up on people?

Anyone with me? It's time for a change.

And since my problem is always a lack of salvage, what do others do regarding their salvage needs? Just buy as you go? Keep some to make stuff with when you get recipes? And if you keep salvage, how many of each?

    [/ QUOTE ]

I am just being informative AE system (Mission architect) Now allows you to buy salvage with tickets.

There is purchasable Rare salvage both tech/arcane
Also there is purchasable Uncommon salvage both tech/arcane.

Then, there are Under the Reward Rolls Uncommon salvage is listed. Both tech/arcane that take 8 tickets each to roll.

You take a chance when you roll for those. I find usually if I need a piece to craft that it takes 6-8 rolls at most to get what I need.

Gives a list of Tech/Arcane common salvage

Because common rolls fall under LEVEL when you're rolling them. This will help you figure out the level you need fall under

    Currently our main hero base.
    We have player apartments.
6 apartments each with a IO salvage rack.
3 of those apartments have their own Inspiration bin
These are individually set at the the players promotion level.

1 public IO bin in the main workshop available to everyone above the first tier of promotion.

2 invention salvage racks open to anyone above the first tier of promotion level.

1 base historical salvage bin set with the superleader and the tier below open permission.

1 public inspiration bin with a mix of awakens and usually tier 1 inspirations in the hospital area. (we have both the tree of wonders - gives green and blues) and the Contemplation chats (sells breakfrees) so we do not usually have those in the public bin.

2 public inspiration bins in our main workshop that are a mix of tier 2 & 3 inspirations, and also EoEs and Ambrosias.

As for myself I keep mainly rare salvage on my main in her vault and occasionally in the markets.

    Our Main Villain base has:
    1 public inspiration bin.
    1 public salvage rack

    Player apartments.
    5 with io bins
5 with with a salvage bin
    4 with an inspiration bin

With AE I rarely buy now I just go do 1 or 2 ae missions and roll or if I buy what I need it's usually just common salvage on hero side IF i can get it reasonably if I can't then I go roll for it.

On villain side the market is usually higher, so I roll or use the AE to purchase what I need.

I use the salvage bins to transfer salvage between characters.
  10. Oh and note, that they allow us to keep more than 30 per salvage rack. I am not sure why it could be for hoarding reasons, they want the market to stay active. NO clue really.
  11. I like the separate permissions. My SG likes the separate permissions. It works as is, If there's not some organizational system to your salvage racks, AND you have access to them, ask your SG leader if you could make a pattern.

    Example:
    2 bins for arcane common
    2 bins for arcane uncommon
    2 bins for arcane rare

    2 bins for tech common
    2 bins for tech uncommon
    2 bins for tech rare

*The AE system has them listed as you can buy salvage there with tickets under what they are under for type on uncommon/rare so by reading what is what you can figure out what should be in each bin.*

Ask your SG base editor to stick a white emblem/yellow emblem/orange emblem on a hanging flag or flag on a stand (forget what those are called) behind each set of bins so you know what is what.

This link can help you figure out what common salvage falls under. *he says magic* AE says arcane.

I'm with Forbin though. There have been in the past and I've experienced myself People joining the SG and then deciding a year or more later that they want to wipe out half/all of your salvage to go sell/build a base etc of their own, take hami-o's and just decide to go disappear with it, and they didn't really contribute to the stuff they stole.
  12. Ill/Storm/ Earth/Storm Plant/TA.
Ill/Storm: Because it rocks, she survives well. She's decent in PvP

Earth Storm: Because it rocks, she survives well She's great teaming

Plant/TrickArrow: Because she rocks, she survives well. (I love the frickin plant pet) and she's uber control.

Out of all of them people who see them in action I get the most comments that the Plant/TA must be fun to play. She is but the other ones are as well. None of these really play the same either.

I right-click on everything: enemies, allies, objects. I also read everything. As such, I try to make sure my arcs include descriptions, clues, and souvenirs, and am disappointed when I'm playing an arc that doesn't include much in the way of background.

How important is all the "wordy" stuff to you?

    [/ QUOTE ]

I really like everything, I like everything in regular content too though, If I haven't ever done a mission before I like it when people leave the glowies so I can read what the information says during and after clicking them. If they do not I ask them to type to me what it said. (pb/paper missions those glowies I could care less about) I read the clues, I read the souvenirs, I like reading everything in fact during patron arcs I get people trying to TP me to missions when I've set it for their convenience and I'm still reading all the info someone like arbitor has (he's long winded)

    In MA it's no different.
I like right clicking the custom minion/lt/bosses/avs to see if they have tidbits of information that ties into the mission.

After a fight If I missed something I scroll back and read the dialogue. I find the dialogue usually the most enjoyable thing in the MA system.

I like the Intro/Send off and return information as well. So it's enjoyable.

I have found story arcs that do not include a lot of information inside the missions but heavily rely upon the information given by the contact and those are enjoyable as well. I figure that it is either they have ran out of space, or are unaware of being able to enrich the story a little more through added details inside the mission, or sometimes the story carries well enough in the intro/send off/return and the pop ups that clues aren't really needed.
  18. Sometimes they do not allow names, and i'm not sure why I have a pet named Luc but I think it was Jean or something simple that wouldn't work so I was able to do J e a n and have it work ok.
  19. All your suggestions are good and I understood your post just fine. They do need to at some point pay attention to Sgs however I'm not sure when that will happen, with the pace of issues being released and all the bugs they have to fix it may take awhile.

I know that many SGs are creating SG-specific MA arcs, but for the arcs to earn tickets for people playing them they must be published on an individual's account. This uses up one of that person's arcs, and makes the arc visible to anyone, including non-SG members.

Instead, how about allowing designated SG members to post SG-specific MA arcs on the Mission Computer and Oracle items in their bases? That way the arc would not use up one of an individual's arc slots, and would only be usable by SG-members.

    [/ QUOTE ]

It would be nice for the SG computer to be used for something. I think this is a great idea.
