Well, you're spreading misinformation - and you're wrong. You should contact support if you're confused about your tokens.
  3. Howdy. You're a VIP, so you can post in either the Build forum or the Mastermind forum.

This, my friends, is a City bigot. It's kind of sad.

Ukaserex: if you didn't look at my /info window, you would never know that two of my four 50s have HOs/SOs/generic IOs (the only set IO I have is a single karma -kb). I can hold my own in pretty much any content that doesn't involve dogpiles of enemies (really rare in this game outside of farming). And yet you'd rather team with someone else.
  5. I think the term you're looking for is Signature Story Arc. "Story Arcs", non-Signature, exist for nearly every contact in the game, and the vast majority of them have no restrictions on earning their rewards.

Signature Arcs grant one reward pick per choice per week (Alignment Merit; 4x Reward Merits; Astral Merit; 10 Threads - a total of four distinct rewards), regardless of which episode of which series you do.

In addition to this one reward pick per choice per week, each episode gives ONE "freebie" choice the very first time it is run (one choice, period, not one of each choice), and it does not apply toward the weekly choice.

SSA1 has 7 episodes, and SSA2 has 3 episodes. A character could run all of them in a row for 10 freebie choices, then could run any of them four times for one choice of each of the rewards. Subsequent runs will grant 1x Reward Merits and that's it. Then next week, the character could run any of them four times for one choice of each of the rewards. Repeat ad nauseum. Anytime a new episode is introduced, the character gets to choose ONE reward twice that week, the other three still only once.

    Forum help.

Got out my fiance's iPhone and didn't have any trouble with viewing the forums, logged in or not. Not sure what to suggest. I have no idea if iStuff browsers are capable of blocking images or if you can install a browser addon that can block images. I am not hip to the iThing.
  7. Why would they give anyone free transfers (other than the monthly VIP one, which is factored into the subscription cost) when they can (and do) make money off it?

    This is wrong.

VIP point stipends do not count toward purchased points tokens. The only way to get tokens from points is to buy points.
  9. I don't even think "Mrs. Issan" can be assumed, just because that's her daughter's last name. My last name doesn't match my mother's.
  10. I wonder who BDR Productions is? Google tells me nothing.

PPM works the same way. For Burn, there will be a PPM-based check when it is first cast and then another PPM-based check at 10 seconds. I'm not sure what the chance is that it will successfully proc, since I24 PPM takes recharge slotting (but not buffs and set bonuses) in the formula.

I wonder if something funky is still going on with regards to the updated cape mission. It reset a few characters of mine. Try going to the aura chick and seeing if you can run it again.

    TIL
It's actually been there since before that. It's been there since we had the Detailed Info part of the power window, which existed before linking did, alongside or soon after the devs rejected Jack Emmert's "players don't care about numbers" idea.

Just to note, Freedom's been out 11 months, not "at least a year".

Granted, that doesn't mean they shouldn't have their ducks in a row by now, but for the most part everyone I know who subs consistently gets their points on pretty much the same day each month. Folks who sub 'from time to time' get their points within a few days of resubbing. Been this way for months. If your account's still screwed up, tell support to fix it. They now have the tools to do so.
  15. Patch/pseudopet powers check once when activated and once every ten seconds after that. If the duration is 9.9 seconds, you only get the one check. lol
  16. It's not a regen/recov buff, it's giving you HP and Endurance 'points' every few seconds. That kind of thing doesn't show up in combat attributes, by design.

Then in the last year we've had a bunch of free power sets and also a bunch of paid ones that you can mostly purchase with your monthly VIP stipend if you want. All in a single year.

I mean, most people know this, but it'd be nice to have a chart or something to point people to when we get silly complaints like this one.

They have this already; it's called 'slot knockback enhancements'. Knockdown is simply low-mag knockback.

I think he's under the impression that your OP, which is requesting people to log into Beta and give their opinions in the appropriate thread in Beta Forums, followed by your opinion of them, isn't enough for him. He seems to think it's a female-dog fest of epic proportions, though I'm not entirely sure where he's getting that from. He thinks you should have used more words to describe what's wrong and how to fix it (even though there's a thread for that in the Beta Forums).

Your subsequent posts were a little over the top, but the OP is what he seems to be hung up on, and I just can't see his version of it.

(Bloodspeaker: I understand that this is akin to putting words in your mouth, but do realize this is what you come across as, regardless of what you actually mean.)

Yeah, nothing is impossible, you are correct and I agree with you that that is a fact. But there are things that are both unlikely and improbable to the point of being 'this side of impossible' - things that require rewriting the whole game engine to function, or things that would make the devs break promises, or things that go against design decisions, etc., that will likely never happen.

Running up vertical surfaces won't happen without rewriting the game engine to allow such a thing; same thing with running across water instead of swimming really fast in water.

Grappling hook travel will likely never happen because there are several devs on board that think it looks stupid when you're traveling across a big open zone like Perez Park or Independence Port.

Long skirts that are closed all the way around (a la Tsoo Sorcerers) will likely never happen because it looks silly during roughly half of player animations, and the devs don't really like 'silly' in their 'mostly realistic' game.

Free players getting to 'try before you buy' things will likely never happen because it reduces the amount of money that the business will get in the long run, and no business is likely to side with that one. And NCsoft/Paragon Studios is a business, regardless of the fact that they're in business to provide a type of entertainment.

Do you mean MONTHS ago? Because the yearly badges didn't exist before Freedom launched in September 2011.
  24. Disney took it down everywhere except where they officially allowed it - it's still available at EW.com.
  25. Because it's not measuring "how long it's been since you registered your account", it's measuring "how many months of subscription/VIP time you've had". And Freedom screwed the pooch on that one.
