Making it easier to transfer Servers

We can now purchase transfers from one server to another, but it would be nice to be able to do it quickly and easily, back and forth so I can play on a server that has enough people to easily find teams, but not so busy as to constantly get my team split between Atlas 1, 2, and 3.

A quick easy automated "free" way to transfer servers would make evening out servers easier and we could do it ourselves.

You won't get Free transfers except for the Server Transfer tokens you get each month as part of your VIP sub.

If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

Black Pebble is my new hero.

Why would they give anyone free transfers (other than the monthly VIP one, which is factored into the subscription cost) when they can (and do) make money off it?

The current transfer service *is* quick and easy. Click transfer, click character, be shown servers with how many spots free, pick, done.

As for free, see other comments.

As for "not able to find a team," where?

As for "evening out servers," who says we want to?

Not to mention the server resources necessary to handle Each transaction. Impliment as suggested and you Could end up with server lag everytime someone wants to start a TF, but half the toons desired are on the wrong server and they all attempt to transfer at the Same Time!

There's also the whole name issue. Names are unique per sever so constantly transferring servers means you'll frequently need to rename.

And imagine how happy people will be when they transfer back to their home server to find the name they had has been taken while they were away.

I think cross server teaming would be a good thing for the game.

If they can make it work, instead of making names look ugly by ading globals or something I'd like a simple home server title added under or above each name.

<Virtue>
Character Name

or

Character Name
<Virtue>

I would like to see it done so that there would only be labels added if there were name clashes in that particular team or channel, outside of those situations it wouldn't matter which server they were from. I don't think the devs would want to allow this for regular content just for LFG Trials and TF's.

I have friends on multiple servers. My Toons are spread out over multiple servers. Sometimes I want my good Tank from Champion on a group that I'm on at a different server. Its not worth it to me to pay to do this, but it would increase my enjoyment of the game.

Money money money, but Texting used to cost a lot of money when it first came out. Now most plans make you pay a small fee to text or include it in your data plan. Once server switching becomes or become automated, then the cost to NCSoft is negligible.

Now, the game is dying so this is probably moot. But I did like the idea of being able to play any toon on any server. Personally I don't mind not having my perfect name.
