What buffs work through death?
Buffs do not persist through death, nor work while you're dead. As far as I can tell, this includes stuff like set bonuses and Incarnate powers (enemies will con a different color when you die, because you lose your level shifts). So your global recharge won't work while you're dead.
I think slotted recharge still works while dead, but I've never attempted to test it; buffs that are actually temporary powers (Secondary Mutation, for example) do not work while dead, but will still be present when you rez. This also happens with short-duration temp powers, so if you rez quickly you can still use the Tidal Power you built before you died
I just did a quick check and set bonuses (including LotGs) turn off when you die as do you Alpha Slot abilities. I suspect that enhancements do not turn off (since powers like Rise of the Pheonix need to calculate the damage/accuracy enhancements in them) but I can't think of a way to test this.
The Mystic Fortune buffs all last 20 minutes, dead and/or alive.

-Mystic Fortune
-Secondary Mutation
-Team and Dual Inspirations, and the Store-Bought versions of standard Inspirations that you can get via Paragon Rewards.
-Amplifiers
-XP Boosters
-Windfall
-Prestige Boosters
Most of these wouldn't do anything relevant while dead anyways. I haven't tested if XP Boosters, Windfall and Prestige Boosters turn off while dead. I would hope that they don't, but I wouldn't be surprised if they do.
@Roderick
You are not dead you are defeated, geez get it right.
Cancel the kitchen scraps for widows and lepers, no more merciful beheadings and call off christmas!
The 1 hour experience booster is all that comes to mind.
Basically, what the title says. What buffs (in the broadest sense, from powers being cast on you, to your own personal powers, to set bonuses, to incarnate abilities, to regular enhancement %s and anything else I might have missed) remain active while defeated, primarily looking at it through recharge (a lot of the other modifiers wouldn't particularly make much sense... such as +regeneration ).
I got to thinking about this a bit ago when thinking about my freshly-50'ed Peacebringer's self rez ability, which comes out of the box with a 5 minute recharge (honestly, any situation where I need it recharging much faster than that, it recharging faster than that is unlikely to actually help ). I would assume the regular enhancement percentages, set bonuses, and LotG +Recharge would continue to operate, but I've never tested any of them, nor actually seen anyone document which continues functioning.
Anyone have any ideas?
We've been saving Paragon City for eight and a half years. It's time to do it one more time.
