I like a number of the suggestions here, although not the swarm missile one. Neat idea, just not for AR.
Seriously, please god reduce the endurance costs. Flamethrower, for something that animates that slow with it's strange DoT activation, to have such a horrible endurance cost...eesh.
M30 and Buckshot end reduction would be nice, too.
Tbh, it's not that AR is only lethal type, with a bit of fire added in (minimal). It's not that it's endurance heavy, or that if you're fighting lesser but better armoured targets your in trouble.
It's all of them, wrapped into one. I love AR, love the concept, love the potential. But, every time I fire up my AR/Ice blaster, even on teams, I keep getting that nagging feeling that it really isn't delivering it's true potential. -
Spent an hour or so creating the alternate Nemesis army for my arc Crown of Iron, Heart of Steel Part 1. Re-coloured, new biogs, the lot. I used the standard humans from 30-54, minions and LTs. However, when I was customising them, I noticed the LTs level range started screwing up massively. So, for the 30-32 spawning LTs, the range after editing said 34-54...wtf?
I also ran into the problem of encountering nothing but the one custom minion and custom LT I had made. No regular spawns. I ended up deleting them, because I had a version of the arc published and I didn't want to have to deal with that problem on live play-throughs.
I also ran into something wierd, in that my ambush (set to Hard, I think...) the LTs I got were both custom Bosses. They conned as LTs, but they weren't the customised Nemesis LTs. Does the 'Fight Bosses as LTs' also screw that up too?
Really, really badly broken. Why can we not actually save the customised standards as their own files? Something that would make editing them a whole lot easier? And be able to treat them a bit more like PC rigs, rather than just NPC rigs, at least for saving the colour pallette? -

Case: Customised Nemesis Troops
Subjects: All human troopers. Minions and LTs. Bosses used Standard Warhulk and two custom bosses.
So, after taking an hour or two re-writing the biogs, customising the uniforms and making sure the level ranges overlap to work from 30-54, I thought I had my alt-universe Nemesis army finished.
It seemed not.
When I started I added in a custom minion and a custom LT, alongside the humans, to add some variety.
When I test ran the map, ALL that spawned was the custom mobs. Not a SINGLE edited mob. I tried two missions, then deleted the custom LT and minion.
Now the customised Nemesis spawned...with NO distinction in level range. Mobs that should only have spawned from, say, 39-42, were spawning at 32. Hell, mobs that were ONLY in at 49-54 were in at 32!
Yes, they were conning right. But the level mechanic or w/e was F.U.B.A.R.
Anyone else had any screaming nightmare stories with MA just plain breaking? -

1) Palm Thrust - Nearly identical to Power Thrust. An open-palmed strike which doesn't do much damage, but consistently deals a high mag knockback.

20) Physical Perfection - +20% regen and +12.5% recov is pretty reasonable considering Mental Manip gets Drain Psyche.

6) Assassin's Blade - Replaces Frozen Aura; Stalkers almost always lose an AoE option for AS. In this case, an AoE that also puts foes to sleep might be pretty powerful for a class that relies on hiding and not being attacked.

12) Placate - Replaces Taunt
18) Ice Patch
26) Freezing Touch
32) Greater Ice Sword
Ice Armor (Stalker):
1) Hide - Replaces Icicles.
2) Frozen Armor
4) Hoarfrost
10) Shiver - Replaces Chilling Embrace. Instead of a toggle which will definitely screw up a Stalker's hiding, replace it with a similar power which is a click. No -DMG, but higher -RECH.
16) Wet Ice
20) Permafrost
28) Glacial Armor
35) Energy Absorption
38) Hibernate - Keep this? Already one in epics. Could be replaced with another form of a tier 9 instead. Maybe a large +RES power, or a more SoW/OWtS-style tier 9.
Weapon Assault:
1) Pistol - Like "Pistols," but with one pistol!
2) Gambler's Cut
4) The Lotus Drops
10) Dual Wield - Might be a better name for this, even though you're technically dual wielding weapons. Just not two pistols. Same as the MM power, though, just with a different visual.
16) Build Up
20) Sting of the Wasp
28) Targeting Drone - Yes, really! For the +ToHit and Perception. 28-35 tends to be a utility power for Doms, like snipes, Thorntrops, or Consume. If Targeting Drone is too nutty, Caltrops would also fit here.
35) Soaring Dragon
38) Empty Clip - Same as MM version, but with one pistol.
Set relies on having a katana in one hand and a pistol in the other. To prevent redraw, both weapons appear whether you're using a melee or a ranged attack. Mix of katana and dual pistols (thugs) sets. Most attacks do -DEF and sometimes knockdown.

In teams when you can hit upto 10 with it, it'll save you and others endurance by doing better dam per end than a single target and better DPA versus multiple targets, minimizing the number of single target attacks you or others have to use and cutting the fight duration aiding survivability.
I would say that the power can go from nomming endurance up to saving endurance depending on the player. If I don't see atleast targets that I can hit safely I don't use it.
I might put it after stamina based on my own experience, build and my own judgment.
Fair points. I concur.
It IS good on teams. Based on play, I would still get it after Stamina.
Given I've come back to my AR character after a long while, I probably need to learn to play him again ^^; -

Robots and guys. I have one main girl, Kitsune Vixen, and her alt power builds. I...think I play her fairly well these days.
Although I have had a slew of female characters, simply because they fit well for the concepts. In two of the cases the concept revolves around them being female.
The rest are guys or robots, really. Being a guy makes playing guys easy, and I've hung around with enough variety of girls at school, college and now Uni to get a decent idea of variation and whatnot. -
Hollows style revamp = /signed
The zone has a lot of potential. I really liked the idea of randomised sounds popping up at you.
The game needs more ambient sound/music! -
Using IE, if you follow a link in a forum post to another post in the forums, then you AUTOMATICALLY get logged out.
This has happened three times repeatedly, at least for me. I think it doesn't like it when you have two windows open and you're logged into both of them. Or something nutty. -

I always end up broke as spit on my characters...
Recipes I get never seem worth anything. Is making ALL of them really worth it? Is salvage profitable?
I know my Main (See forum handle) is doing ok, slotting him slowly but steadily and all, and my Tanker isnt doing too bad...
But my high point was 20 million. Never ever got a purple drop, rarely got a rare that was worth anything, cant even dream of these 100,200 etc millions that people talk about...
And aren't the markets EU-US linked? So server shouldnt matter, irrc -
I'd put off Flamer until after Stamina. That thing noms end like a doom-pup who hasnt been fed since last apocalypse.
I've never taken beanbag, but that and taser are great for stunning troublesome LTs (Trolls, Outcasts I remember well) and keeping them reeling around while you gun down the minions.
AR/Ice here, but AR can be great fun. It is a real endurance monster with all the AoEs, mind, and you pick up more aggro than a tanker with all the bad-guys girlfriends numbers. I've run into a bit of a roadblock myself, but AR/Devs has always looked good fun =] -

AR/Ice blaster, lvl 35.
Over the years done solo stuff with him, teamage, all that malarky.
At 35...I dunno, maybe I've forgotten how to play him, maybe that last respec messed him up slightly, or maybe fighting Rikti really is that bad for him.
Find myself faceplanting a heck of a lot more, and generally getting smacked around a lot.
Tried cranking the diff up to x2 with bosses, culled off the bosses after one faceplanted mission. Still feels very clunky...

The infirmary was alwas busy, especially given the new influx of Rikti reinforcements. Doctor Vixen, also known as Agent Vixen, or Kitsune Vixen in full, moved from bunk to bunk, checking on the current casualties. Vanguard medical kit was good, damned good, but it always helped having an empath on duty.
She looked up by chance, to spot a Colonel leaning against the door, helmet under his arm. She flashed him a smile.
"Everything alright, Jerry?" she asked, setting her clipboard on the side and returning her pen to her white over-coat.
Colonel Jeremy Lyndon smiled wryly, walking over with a quick headcount-glance around the medbay.
"Didn't want to intrude on you, Doc," he muttered. "I just though you might want to see this. Not really Vanguard business, but..."
He trailed off, handing over a leaflet. Vix frowned, pushing her glasses back up her nose as she glanced over it. The Colonel watched as the medical officers face darkened.
"Sorry to drop that on you, but you've always-"
"No, thanks Colonel," Vix interupted, folding the leaflet and attaching it to her clipboard with a scribbled note. "I tend to drop of the radar a bit when it comes to City affairs..."
Lyndon nodded, saluting and heading back out. Despite technically out-ranking her, as did a number of others, most of the Vanguard corps respected and liked their main medic. If it hadn't been for her, a number of them wouldn't be around.
"This is bad..." Vix mumbled to herself, staring into nothing. "I can feel it..." -
Since this thread seems to be more active, I think the Guide to Demo-Editing and stuff (top sticky here) got it's formatting absolutely borked when we migrated forums =S
Good luck to anyone who takes a shot...I won't be able to learn how to make Vids that fast

It shouldn't matter if furries make their anthro characters or you make your anthro characters. It doesn't hurt anyone at all.
Yup, totally agree with you. It's the same as all this PvE/PvP/RPer warring or whatnot, so long as it doesn't cross into actual conflicting and being a jerk (power-spammers in Pocket D, etc) then there's nothing wrong with people playing the game to enjoy it, however they want to.
But, OT.

Besides, Villains are more famous than Heroes. You save some person on the street, you might make page 10. Villains? All you need to do is rob a bank and your headlining
