I still vote for a revamp (yes, I know the Devs hate that word. Revamp! RE-VAMP!) of all models made beofre...I6 I think? I've got drawings for a new design of Outcasts, but really, a lot of the old mobs are really showing their age. Outcasts: Three models. Trolls: Three models. Hellions, Skulls; Very few models.
Just because they're the basic mobs doesn't mean they should be DULL. -
Butt capes in general, I guess you mean? Sinve VEAT widows did in fact get them (after some time :P)
But I know a number of people in game who would /sign this, and so would I. -

The only thing wrong with CM and EM is the silly long cast time. Other than that, its the same reason FFs and any other shield buffs (its a mez shield, really) haven't been made AoE;
It would need to be put on a longer recharge (inconvenient) it would cost more endurance (also inconvenient) and...yeah. Just no.
Decrease the cast time by all means, because its annoyingly long. But everything else about it is fine. -

And while it's always nice to get more stuff I'd prefer to see a fundamental change to bases first (i.e. introducing player housing, so everyone can use the base building feature) plus a revamp of the existing base items (i.e. adding a bottom side, make items stackable, etc.) and most importantly a fixed and modernized base editor (i.e. include a chat window, a vertical placement slider, etc.).

I much prefer the mechanic of dropping to Dwarf than just shrugging everything off. It adds that extra element of fun and tactics, and gives you the challenge of building a character that has a good enough Dwarf form to cope.
I find that challenge fun, some don't.
But I really like the fact that Khelds are fairly rare, makes me feel special

Kheldians are good. Concept wise. Mechanics and actual playability wise...It's possible, no doubt about it. Its just not particularly easy. And I dont mean easy as in lolSS/WP easy (Yes, I have an SS/WP Brute. Yes, I still die
) or anything that people deem the 'easy modes'.
VEATs are far from invincible. But they are...'straight forward'?
Khelds have a mechanic that no other AT has. Thats good.
Said mechanic is also rather clunky, and comes with the problem of not enough slots. Thats bad.
I seriously hope Khelds get some decent looking at and TLC, because they are worthy of an 'Epic' AT slot, they just haven't quite got there yet. Still.
(Btw, I SWEAR that Quants still two-shot Kheldians. In Dwarf form, too. And Human, and Nova, no matter what shields they have on. Minion, LT and Boss Quants and Voids, all just seem to punch a hole through Khelds like they were paper. Maybe some coding came undone somewhere down the line? Either way...I still hate 'em.) -

What the heck is UP with his god-mode? He gets to about a 12th of his health, and suddenly becomes utterly invincible. +def, +res, +everything by the looks of it. We beat him in the end, pretty much by grabbing someone who had left the team earlier and cranking up every single buff and popping a whole tray of reds and yellows. Even then it was a tough ride.

That is a little odd that it worked. I've tired to "exploit" the base crystal before to see if I could get a lowbie team to do the Maria Jenkins arc for fun, but it won't let you start the arc if anyone on the team is below the minimum level. I don't know why the cape mission would be any different.

Came up with an idea for a new MM, using a set I'd never really tried out before.
The problem is coming up with a secondary. My main MM is Bots/Traps, which I like, but /Traps a second time doesn't really appeal to me.
The concept is a Mercenary unit led by it's operator, who tends to sit back and support while the gunners do the work. So far I've chalked up a /FF build with the leadership and medicine pool that looks fairly decent, but I don't know wether any of the others would really work? I need something that can fit with a natural/tech augmented individual...
Here's the Merc/FF build so far, at any rate. Probably very bad, but hey ^^;
Advice much appreciated.

Stun costs considerably less end than TF. But has the same mag and only about 2 seconds more duration and yet it does 7% the damage of TF.
ET's endurance cost was lowered and damage buffed so that it could add in the damage to self portion. WH's end cost is slightly lower and its damage is slightly lower to compensate.
Guess stun should get the clobber treatment.
EDIT: Can someone tell me how to copy/paste from excel in a way that it looks good on these forums??!?!
EDIT2: Actually.... giving stun the clobber treatment would be stupid. Then the set would have two near identical powers, one with a 3.3 second animation and the other with a 1.8 second animation. Why would anyone ever take total focus after that?
Let's face it... the set just sucks.
I'm entertaining re-rolling my Invul/EM as an Invul/Elec, or maybe Elec/Elec, not really sure...Which makes me very sad, because he's still decent enough at tanking, and I love the character himself, and would hate to lose all the work that went into him over the years...but, given I can't repsec a whole secondary set, and there's no indication of when or indeed if EM is going to get looked at...yeah. -
It used to...and now it doesn't.
Oddly enough, it works when NOT in costume editor. I hit the key and bam, screenshot.
Using Windows 7 and a wireless keyboard. No idea why it would suddeny stop working in the editor when it always used to on the crummy laptop with a built-in and Vista Oo -
Remember that Tanks also get EM (where I'm coming from) so...it would need to work for them as well, not just Brutes.
And I agree, the animation change is what really put me off. -
Claws. Claws/Ninja is the only stalker I've been able to keep, and not only does he move like a wraith, but he fights like a freaking whirlwind.
Sure, he might not be as 'DPS awesome' as Spines or Elec melee...but by gods he's stabby.
I also gave him wristblades and a 5th Col uniform, so...yeah

Oddly enough, Energy punch does LESS damage than Barrage does. I checked on Mids AND tested it in game, before my respec.
What's up with that?
I know there are people who will have taken Stun, or who like it, but is it REALLY necessary in a set where ALL the attacks have stun effects that can stack?
Given Total Focus is a monster endurance wise AND animations time wise, they really should cut down the animation time. Its just not worth its tier 9 space right now... -
