PrintScreen doesn't work in Costume editor?
Taking a screenshot in the costume editor has never worked for me. Are you absolutely sure it ever worked that way for you?
GV
Yup, and I have the saved files to prove it =/

Hit Print Screen in the costume creator, Alt+Tab out and go to MSPaint (or your graphic editing application of choice), then Ctrl+V to paste.

Well I know Control+Printscreen, then paste will work, but yeah, would be INCREDIBLY nice if they fixed that.
Shigeru Miyamoto "A delayed game will eventually be good, a bad game is bad forever."

Vista and Win7 come with an app called Snipping Tool, it works withing the Costume Creator (well, it has in all but one case so far.) In Vista it's in the Accessories folder on the Start menu, in Win 7 it's already pinned to the Start menu.
If that doesn't work, I have a workaround.
If you are getting a 'blank' screenshot when trying to capture your Powers screen/Character Creation/Tailor screen, do this:
1. Bring up whatever art program you are going to use (MSPaint, GIMP, etc.)
2. Move said program so that only a small portion of it is visible, but leave it in the foreground (on top of CoX.)
3. Hit PrintScreen.
4. Move your art app back into view.
5. Paste.
I find this usually solves the 'blank' screenshot issue.
I pretty sure that this is not an issue with the game, but with OS and possible graphics drivers and their interaction with the game, because not everyone is affected the same.
I'll give the 'snip' thing a look, thanks =]

Another helpful tip: To get a cleaner snap of you character, rotate/zoom them to the desired position, and click 'Save', it will remover the CC UI and give you a cleaner shot. (Just wished it left things like weapons and shields out.)

Like the original poster, I was getting just a big, black rectangle as the screenshot from the tailor or char builder screen. Printscreen worked fine elsewhere in the game, tho.
But the move the app aside trick works like a charm.

It used to...and now it doesn't.
Oddly enough, it works when NOT in costume editor. I hit the key and bam, screenshot.
Using Windows 7 and a wireless keyboard. No idea why it would suddeny stop working in the editor when it always used to on the crummy laptop with a built-in and Vista Oo
