I didn't make the original (sadly) and I can't get the damn thing to work with a transparent background. It just comes up white, which look even worse.

Grind moar phail plz? Some of us don't have the time or the ability to play all day (I used to, as well....thank you god-damn Uni internet...) that is required for grinding. And, in fact, some of us simply don't find it *fun*. New content should be as fun for as many people as possible, and not force a playstyle down your throat that you dont want to adhere to. Again, because it is not fun. -
Been thinking of re-rolling a character from Invul/EM to something else. Elec melee keeps catching my eye, and combining that with Shield looks like a recipe for awesome. Anyone got any advice on them or other combos?
I also rustled up a quick build...any glaring holes with it?

Her death animation already has her diving back under the water. All that's really needed is the Camera temporary power and an NPC to give it to us, and buff Sally's resistance.
Either that, or make her a clicky.
But yeah, I've never approved of hitting the poor thing. She's kinda cute, in a giant sea serpent kinda way. I think its the big eyes. -

Advice, though; if you can save money to get a new rig (or get someone to build one, like I did recently) then you should find the game a lotta fun. -

I've never had a Purple drop to date. It still annoys me. It also means I dont know. -

Thats three animations scaled for a pistol size weapon.
Assault Rifle;
Burst. Longer than any of the others
Slug. Single shot, more kick.
Buckshot
Beanbag
M30 grenade. That one right there would be a pain.
Flamethrower. Whole new animation needed.
Ignite. See above.
Full Auto. Another new animation.
If you stole the animations from the Thugs enforcers and their dual uzi's then maybe, *maybe* you could cut it down a bit.
Even then...SMGs? Firing grenades, shotguns and beanbags? Dont even get me started on the flamethrower. Trying to fudge ways around that with a Tommy gun is hard enough.... -

BUT...that bolded part up there and then copied for even more emphasis...well, one, that's unwieldy as hell right there....in a game of super strong, flying, fire blasting super heroes, is not a good arguement against it.
Not counting movies, but in comics themselves, there has been use of dual wielding Assault Rifles.
At least the OP was suggesting it as an alternate animation, rather than a whole new powerset.

First type:
Effect Enhancements
These would be the plus side. They do NOT work with other enhancements. They add new effects, and only off of the base power. So, do you want you single target blast to explode in an AoE? Or your kick attack to burn?
Second type:
Counter enhancements
These counter the first value with something to counter the new effect. You could not put in place an effect without choosing your counter. You want your debuff to also deal damage. Cool. But it will have to recharge slower, use more endurance, or use a slower animation. Or maybe even hurt you!
The more powerful/novel the effect, the stronger the counters needed. Adding simple damage might need only a light increase in endurance use. But making your punch explode in flames would need a lot of counters. Note: not all are an even one-to one.
As you level up, you get more slots to add effects and counters to your chosen power.
Ideas for effects/counters:
effects:
Add damage
Add range (for ranged only)
Add boost effect- to self (+damage, +health,+speed, +defense, etc.)
Add cone/AoE
Add duration (for boosts)
Add status effect
Add new damage type
Reduce activation (select a faster animation from a list)
Counters:
Increase endurance use
Increase recharge time
Increase activation (select a slower animation from a list)
Self +Debuff (character gets weakened some way from using the power)
Self +damage (character is harmed by using the effect)
Self +defeat (character dies using power)
Reduced range (range only)
Anywise, just a thought.
