Yep, your side note is totally wrong. link
Procs work at all levels as long as you have access to the power.
Globals work as long as you are three levels below the enhancement level, or higher, even if the power is not accessible. -
Code:Turns the printscreen button into a UI-less screenie. Turns SHIFT + printscreen into a UI-full screenie. All without having to worry whether you turned your UI on or off.
/bind sysrq "screenshotui 0$$screenshot" /bind shift+sysrq "screenshotui 1$$screenshot"
(my favorite tip to share, I get a lot of comments on it every time screenies get discussed in global channels) -
We heard you the first time. There's nothing we can do about that "warning" (what a silly warning).
:-p -
Quote:He never ONCE said that. Not once. He said costumes are a great thing to be gated by veteran rewards (note he didn't specify the T9VIP costumes either), with the implication being that the City playerbase is gaga about costume customization. There are a large number of costume pieces gated by veteran rewards (aka Paragon Rewards now). You name all the VIP costume sets, Mecha will be.. uhm.. 3rd set?
Celestial, Fire & Ice, and Mecha.. yeah, that makes 3.
Now name all the other costume bundles all, even premiums can purchase.. Uhmm.. let's see:
CoT, Origin Capes, Valkyrie, Science, Barbarian, Elemental Order, Imperial Dynasty, Martial Arts, Carnival of Light, Roman, Vanguard, Steampunk, Aphla, Omega, Gunslinger, Clockwork, Justice, Magic pack, Pocket D pack, Sinister, Wedding pack, OverGuard, Praetorian Police, Resistance, Sport... i am sure i am missing a few.
Yeah, i guess the Devs see costumes as something only VIPs should get. -
Quote:Psssssst, if you're going to be mad at Matt for Mary Sue-ing Positron into the game, you might want to know:Positron was not a character created specificaly for CoH like all other rednames/npcs were.
Statesman and Sister Psyche were Jack Emmert's characters from pre-CoH.
Castle got some dude in a red spandex suit to play trainer in Peregrine, and no one even knows if he's even a super. -
They can. By opening their wallets. You just neutered your own argument.

I can't find the thread on the forums, but he copied it over to the wiki.

Quote:You can see costume pieces before you buy them. They have a little lock symbol on them and a store symbol on them that you can click and takes you to the PMarket to buy that piece. (Obviously you cannot create a new character or update a current character's costume with pieces that are locked.)Only after you buy the set. You also have to buy costume pieces before you can see them on that screen as well.
NOTE: A lot of costume pieces are MUCH CHEAPER if you buy them in a bundle, so look at the bundle before buying piecemeal. Check the wiki for parts lists. http://paragonwiki.com -

Quote:G-string and thong are completely different articles of clothing (both of which can be attached to pieces of clothing that cover the torso *looks at GG*)The bottom may be cut up high on the hips but (no pun intended) it's no butt floss.
edit: why am I discussing thongs on an internet forum. *goes outside* -
Mids' has been updated again to fix several bugs in 1.955a. Fetch the 1.956 update from within the program, or visit http://www.cohplanner.com to manually download it.
Recently Fixed in 1.956- Dragging and dropping powers completely breaks the interface.
- Powers are not being removed from the build when the set they belong to is removed in favor of a different one.
- Selecting an accolade places it in the lower power panel on top of brawl, causing strange interactions.
- Powers list is not scrollable with the mousewheel.
- Reactive Interface is applying its -RES debuff to self.
- Practiced Brawler not set as toggle in Tanker version.
- Soul Absorption stacking the unstackable portion as well.
- Incarnate powers are being affected by global buffs they shouldn't like Recharge and non-Musculature damage buffs. (partial fix)

The price point, currently, for Celestial pieces is approximately $25-45. How's that for "redic" [sic]?
-
Quote:Sweetie, it's pretty obvious he's not talking about the upper part of her outfit which you seem to be stuck on; he's talking specifically the bottom part....the butt-revealing part. That, definitely, is a thong-bottomed outfit. You're still mixing up types and cuts - she's wearing an under bust corset, which isn't cut like a thong - it covers her lower torso all the way up to the bottom of her bustline - calling it a thong is like calling opera gloves sleeves, jeans tights, or sandals boots
-
Keep in mind that it takes three reward tokens to get the full Celestial set, which translates roughly into $25-45 (depending on the bulk deal you get for points, or your monthly sub cost -- barring crazy things like clearance time cards or whatever). I'd be pretty cheesed if they took such a substantial drop in price as to be released at 400pp (that is only $5!), so I wouldn't want to see them for less than, say, 1200-1600pp on the PMarket ($15-20).
-
T4 isn't halfway up the rewards tree. You need 34 tokens to fill out T8, so your 35th token can be spent on T9. Half of that is 17, which puts you halfway into T6. So unlocking it at T5/13 tokens (just under halfway) or T6/20 tokens (just over halfway) would be better than T4/8 tokens. (Keeping in mind that everyone gets 1 token automagically, so the required number of tokens to purchase/earn is one less.)

This did make me very sad that we effectively lost two old badges in order to gain these two new badges.
As above, Hero's Hero should award Statesman's Pal and have Statesman in the mission content - it's time travel, back to before Statesman died. Hero's Epic should award Positron's Pal and have Positron in the mission content.
Sister Psyche's ouro task force should award Sister Psyche's Comrade, and Penelope's task force should award Penelope's Friend, and *BOTH* Sister Psyche -and- Penelope should count toward TFC. Having either one should count as credit for that unlock. (Having both shouldn't do anything extra, mind.) -

LOL. I love how observant everyone is. Penny Preston's had that shirt since at least 2006, since that's when the Wiki first got an upload of her pic. It's quite likely she's always had it.

Mids' Hero/Villain Designer has been updated with Staff Fighting! Get the new Mids' from the update feature within the program, or visit CoHPlanner.com.
New features:- Staff Fighting!
- Phase One of Incarnate UI change: We are in the process of changing the UI for Incarnate powers, moving the toggling out of the popup and down into the main page (the popup is still used for selecting the powers). The Incarnate powers are improperly being affected by global buffs.
Fixes & changes:- Fix to debuffs affecting players.
- Fix to Street Justice numbers.
- Post-I22 updates to Dark Control.
- Updated Archetype Enhancement proc numbers.
Known issues:- Windows Vista and Windows 7 have issues with the updater due to UAC interfering with writing to the Program Files folder. Many of these problems can be resolved by (a) installing as Administrator, (b) running Mids as Administrator, or (c) installing Mids to a location other than the Program Files folder.
- Diminishing Returns for PvP mode have not yet been added; all buffs currently show their full, unmodified values.
- The Power Graphs for the current build do not display effects for pseudo-pet powers like Ice Storm. This does not affect the Powerset Comparison, which is now fully aware of pseudo-pets.
- Power Boost affects some powers that should ignore its buffs, such as Ice Shields.
- Temporary and Accolade powers are not being affected by buffs such as recharge rate.
- Some powers are enhanced by HOs that shouldnt be (like Active Defenses Res(Def))
